Also if you need a gift they have gifts🎁 for all ages From toys to make up. They offer assistance appliances for people who have trouble walking or With balance issues. They have papers for young and older people.They do covered vaccines here and the flu shot. The gentleman who gave my son his shot was very calm and very sweet. The shot was over in a Jiffy and son barely noticed it. They have great affordable toys for prizes for the kids if they do well with their shots.They have a great candy 🍬 section which is very loaded 💖. If I am not careful I could get hooked on all the candy here🤫They carry sparkling cider around the holidays end wrapping paper as well as bows and gift wraps. They also have an impressive wine🍾🍷 section. Ail help with checking out . She was fast and pleasant to work with.Thank you to all the wonderful people who helped my family and my family

I received two vaccine appointments from this location in the past month. This is a consistently busy pharmacy and the staff handle it the best best that they can. They are courteous and efficient. However they are severely understaffed. I have stood in line long enough to watch the same pharmacy tech try to handle constantly ringing phones , the window, and the numerous people standing in line at the counter. Many of us are ill. Give these folks some help.

I've used Walgreens since my daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy and she's always had Medicaid for insurance. This place says they don't take her insurance but every other Walgreens does. Make this make sense ..so irritated

Morgan is the most unprofessional, unhelpful employee we’ve ever encountered at Walgreens. She was rolling her eyes at our requests for help in photo after our poster printed with a crease in it. We usually love Walgreens, but this employee is completely useless and downright rude and she never did help resolve our issue.

I’d highly recommend using any other Walgreens or CVS pharmacy. Called 4 times to update insurance, placed on hold for 10 minutes and hung up on every single time. Arrived in person since they can’t answer the phone and was interrupted by a rude pharmacy technician. In the same visit I witnessed another pharmacy technician talking badly about a customer at the window loudly with no regard for being on the floor around other customers. I understand being frustrated, but the professional answer would be to step into the back if you’re going to have a temper tantrum. The only employee who wasn’t a disaster was Lizzy, give that poor girl a raise.

The pharmacist on duty on 11/15/2023 at 9am was extremely rude to me and made me take my prescription from that walgreens and transfer it, Even though they are the only place that has my medicine. I'm driving an hour out of my way now 😞

Was not acknowledged for like 5 minutes standing by the counter, at least say you'll be with me in a minute. I was the only one at the counter. When I did get acknowledged it was with an extremely rude tone. I guess civilization has lost its humanity, manners, and customer service skills.

UPDATE: Makes you wonder why they have a 2.6 google rating. Things that make you go hmmmm.Whatever happened to employees being courteous? On 1/17/23 I was in the checkout line and was talking to the cashier with no response. Nothing not a word back when I asked a question. Even when I said thank you have a good night. It’s not just Walgreens. It seems like the covid lockdown era has made employees not care about being nice. It’s like they’re hiring anybody and not putting them through the proper how to be welcoming orientation and training. Just look at the reviews for this store. I totally understand corporate is in it for the all mighty dollar and I get that but being nice and respectful still goes a long way. I guess my generation is the last of a dying breed.

The pharmacist made sure my meds were available and filled TONIGHT… Gabriel at store 4962 was amazing I called feels like every store in Tampa To find my diabetic meds and it’s OUT. Not only did Gabriel the pharmacist look for me she fixed my insurance issue the other “store” made. I’m so grateful for her

This pharmacy is a mess. Everytime I come here it gets worse. I came last night after an urgent care visit for my son. There was two rx's for my son. I was the only in the waiting area and I waited an hour for the meds. Only two cars thru the drive through. Finally get meds and get home to realize they only gave me one. By that time they were closed. Go in the next morning and now they are telling me it will be another 1.5 to 2 hrs even though I was the first in the pharmacy when they opened. This is the last straw and will find a new pharmacy. Don't waste your time coming here. There is nothing convenient or customer supportive here.

the clinic is terrible. i come in for a physical for the sheriffs department. and asked to send them the forms i need filled out for them and out of that whole store not a single printer was available for them to get my forms. Asked if i can run across the street really fast to print at office depot and even though not a single person was there the 5 minutes it would have taken me they were going to have to reschedule me.

I wish I had read the reviews before going here. Absolutely the worst pharmacy staff!! They are rude and extremely uncaring!! Will lie as opposed to taking the step to actually call the presciber. They kept saying they did. I went outside and called myself and found they didn't even try.A few days prior while trying to get the same prescription filled there, as it was desperately needed, was told it wasn't filled out right and refused to fill it. Told them without it ending up in the hospital would be the result. Pharmacist said "how is that my problem"!! Well the hospital we had to go for 2 days!! Don't know why we gave them a second chance!!If you want a caring compassionate Pharmacist this Is Not the Walgreens for you!!

I got the urgent care facility to send my prescription to this Walgreens. I have VA as my medical insurance and the staff and the pharmacist told me that Walgreens do not have a contract with VA, even when it explicitly says otherwise in the VA website, and I have had prescriptions filled at this Walgreens before. Ok, so they recommend that I go to another pharmacy and ask them to transfer my prescription. So I go ahead and do that. Pharmacy calls and Walgreens says they don’t have any prescription for me in their system. I called them. I had to speak with 3 pharmacy techs for them to tell me that they don’t know what happened to my prescription. Its gone! So then what? Clueless AH.

Incompetent pharmacy staff I took a prescription and was told 15 minutes came back was told an hour and a half! three hours later I’m being told one more hour for prescriptions for my husband who had surgery four hours prior then was told by pharmacy staff that they are short staffed and that if I did not like the wait I could come apply ! Then was put on hold again! Another staff member came on the phone and I was told that if I didn’t want to wait anymore that I could take my prescription elsewhere! terrible customer service will not be coming back! Only person who cared about my issue was the store manager Angel ! She was able to my prescription in 10 minutes!.

I have been going to this pharmacy for years. As of late they have become the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. The y will lie and tell you the have your medications when you order. And when you pick it up they only partial fill. Which causes the cash price to double. And then they say you better take it because its on back order. But if you call a day or 2 later they have more in-stock. Seems like they just don't want to honor discount card prices. But have the full prescription in if I use my insurance.

Advent health was EXTREMELY rude so badly I cancelled my appointment and after she called me back and called me a liar, refused to let me speak to a supervisor and then when I did I’m sure nothing was done. Wish I could give 0 stars!! Worst service ever!!!!

I called in to see if they had a USB Tybe B in stock. As soon as they answered the phone I was put on hold, no "Please hols" or "Would you mind holding". Just hold music. When after 5 minutes someone finally picked up and it was the Pharmacy. When I told her what I was looking for she laughed at me and asked me to hold. Another lady picked up after I was transfered and I explained to her what I was looking for. She placed me on hold. About 2min later someone else picked up and asked "How can I help you?". At this point I was furious. I explained that I have been bounced around and asked what happened to the third person I spoke with and he said "She's buisy." As if thet couldn't find a way to waste more of my time. Very unprofessional and epic pour management. No customer service. Worst experience I've had all day.

08/10/2023 9:30pm I disagree with the night employees they are not friendly at all I was needing a pedialyte serum for a child of someone I know when I saw myself looking for said serum they turned off the cash registers I am disappointed I do not fly to buy anything there nor do I recommend it to anyone I prefer go to the other side

My husband was shopping there after a trip to the pharmacy across the street. While in Walgreen's he dropped his prescription bottle and didn't notice till he got home in Apollo Beach. I called the store manager Fernando, who was extremely busy, yet still took the time to check not only all around the store, but the parking lot in a downpour. He found my husband's medication and saved the day. And saved my husband a lot of stress and suffering. To thank you Fernando for being kind enough to take time to help and save the day! What a kind, thoughtful person you are. We won't forget what you did. ❤️

Won’t recommend this place worst customer service , worst pharmacist they are supposed to fill two of my asthma inhalers .. they filled one and out of stock for another and never knew about it until I went there to pick up the medications .. no phone call or text message .. absolutely nothing.They don’t know when the stock will arrive or didn’t want to help to find out if any other Walgreens in vicinity have them. Just blank look and rude answers Talk to the manager? Just another waste of time .. will never ever go back

While this is the only pharmacy in the area that seems to ever have my meds in stock, every month I get my oxycodone filled at this pharmacy and im shorted pills every time. ONLY the pain meds are short, my several other scripts(non-narcotic) are all accounted for. So it seems to me either there is a thief in the pharmacy or someone doesnt know how to count or follow procedure. I brought the issue up to the managing pharmacist and was called a liar and told they cant make mistakes on pill counts as they count two and three times which know for a fact is not correct as my father has worked in their pharmacy several times. I will be escalating the issue to Walgreens corp and filing a report with the board of pharmaceuticals. While the store staff and manager are very friendly and kind, the pharmacy is a wreck and their staff is unfriendly and uncaring.

The pharmacy is never staffed appropriately. Today we waited almost 30 minutes in the drive thru. The person inside said they only had one person on duty. Could.only see one customer through the window. Not an efficient way to run a business. Management needs to be more responsible. Pretty sad.

This Walgreens is okay besides having to wait a little longer at the pharmacy sometimes because hardly anyone is ever back there, but some of their products are priced WAY more expensive than they should be. Another example today is that I needed sunscreen that is $7.99 on their website as an "online deal" but needed it now instead of later. At the store I thought it wouldn't be much for expensive but it was almost TWICE the price. I looked online at other stores and they're also $7.99 to buy IN-store OR online while Walgreens is almost twice as much. These small price gouges are what keeps my family going to Walmart and CVS for Summer stuff.

I would've given this particular store a 5 stars until what happened yesterday on May 24, 2016. My husband and I had just moved to the area in July 2015. We started going to Walgreens here on Brandon Blvd because they had offered a 10% military discount every Tuesday. My husband has served the military for 26 years and still counting. Well, starting on May 24, 2016 this Walgreens no longer offers the 10% military discount/appreciationDay. It may seem ridiculous to some people but after serving the country for so many years, we know that saving every penny counts especially with the prices of everything going up except for our paychecks. To my husband and I, it feels as if Walgreens no longer supports our troops. So, we will no longer be shopping at this Walgreens and will continue to shop elsewhere where at least they do appreciate our military.
