Everyone working there today was very helpful when my husband and I needed help ,especially the gentleman in the grocery area. He went above and beyond. The ladies behind the deli counter was very pleasant. The cashier couldn't have been better. Very enjoyable shopping experience. Thank you all.

I've pretty much given up Winn D. I love their cookies & some of their products but they need to learn customer service. There's one checker who used to be pretty nice but it's short handed early in the morning & she is running the self checkouts. No matter how many groceries you have she is reluctant to ring them up and says I'll teach you. I mean you've got veggies to weigh, jugs of milk, pizza's & comes to at least 50 dollars & fills three of those bags I take. I say too much for me to check. So she checks me but makes nasty side comments. She says, You don't have that much & then slams them into 2 bags which are heavy & says you have too many bags & on & on. She also says to other workers, She won't check herself and says she has too many items for it.I'M DONE. And, probably will report her though she may get fired.I am thinking of at least reporting it as if they respect their customers. They ought to have enough employees to serve them at checkout.I do know how to self check out but there isn't room when you have a lot of groceries. I am not against self check for lesser amounts. I do it at Target. But no fruits & veggies there. I think they also have more room at the self checkout & their employees are really nice & helpful.I had already started going to Aldi where I save at least $20 over shopping anywhere else. And, I also go to Publix & Target. I get some good BOGO's at Publix though some of their prices are high. The employees are always nice & helpful.

Horrible experience. I was with someone else. I picked up couple items while there. Shelf price was excessively lower than what item rang up for. Walked away and left items at register. This is so wrong!!!

Staff are generally polite.The BOGO deals and point system are fantastic. I do not understand why using just your phone number doesn't collect points anymore, though they're still available using the card(s).Prices can be a little high.Need more cashiers.*EDIT*I noticed some moldy cheese slices in the deli one day. When I went back 4 days later (August 6th and 10th), they were still there.They have since been removed.I have purchased Half & Half (store brand) twice in the last week. Both times, the product was off. Not completely spoiled but unpalatable. I have included the product info (date, batch, ect) Maybe the delivery truck or the fridge itself, are under regulated temperatures...?

Self check out kind of sucked at this location but other than that, they had everything we needed. The frozen dinners I'm obsessed with are different from other grocery stores, which is awesome....

My wife always told me about this place but I thought she was wrong or misspelling the name but finally she took me to this one and i can see why she love it so much, it is really clean, everything organized and customer are so nice and friendly they genuinely happy to see you so i will keep coming back to this one

Low end food at high prices.Try Detweilers, Aldi's, Publix or Walmart before this one.The likelihood of their survival seems remote.There's no good reason to shop here.

Been going to 14th St Bradenton for 5 years. Went this morning @ 8:15 a.m. .Did my shopping and approached to check out. NO cashiers!!!! Went to Service area and was told I had to use Self Checkout. Well !!! I do not use them, never intend to . Told the woman at Service we are going to Publix and left all our groceries right there…. I, and many others will not check my own items out. If I have to do that anywhere I will order online, then they can pay someone to do my entire shopping and I’ll pick it up at the do. Let’s see how much $$ they save when they have to pay someone to do my entire shopping. Cashiers @ Publix were extremely helpful and polite. Publix it is now !!!!

They always seemed to be closed early. The sign on the store and the website says they close at 10:00, but the doors lock around 9:00.

So sad. This is my go to store down the street. Cashiers obviously don’t show up for work and the self checkout sucks. Not the same staff and managers from a year ago. I am better off driving to the one on 53rd st. Oh yeah, none of my points have been added to my card. That’s why I shop where I do, for the savings. Ugh!😡

Well was down to 1 roll of toilet paper & 2 rolls of paper towels!!! They should have put a limit to begin with on the amount you normally buy to begin with!!! All these hoaders have no consideration for those who really need it!!! Thank the lord I finally found some after standing in line before the store opened!!! Way to go Winn Dixie!!! I can now go potty!!! After spending hours every day searching for toilet paper, not only a waste of my time, but I must have used 1 tank of gas to do it!!!

It did have pretty good selection and the store was clean. I actually spoke with a previous employee who happened to be in the store shopping and she was very helpful. The cashier who rang up my groceries was problematic as she looked over at me and actually leaned over to the customer in front of me and started to engage in a conversation about me. If that wasn't bad enough she bullied the cashier next to her, a passerby and the customer behind me. I would hate to rate the store based on this one employee, so I may update my review upon a second visit.

I inadvertantly left $40 cash on cash back through the quick check lane. I had the receipt and they were able to find me on the video walking out without the money. However, the manager said he/she was unable to refund the money. I have left money before over the years and always been refunded. Just wanted to pass this on either don't use the cash back option or be very very careful as they will not reimburse even when they can plainly see that you did not get the money. As for me, I will no longer shop at Winn-Dixie.

A lady, cashier was rude to me and rushed me, frantically!! They over charged my debit card and refused to give me my cash refund, “made good” on paying my bank account balance after -.*• 29 .•*- business days. Was quite inconvenient for someone these days.

I shop at this Winn Dixie all the time. First, since the remodel the interior feels bright and cheery. It is very easy to find all the individual departments using the directories and the bold signing on the walls. The store is also very clean. Prices here are far better than Publix but still not cheap. There are better deals at Aldi across the street and Walmart is still far cheaper. I always buy my meat at W/D because the price is right and the quality is very high. I've never had a bad cut of meat. One thing short of a five star review is that the cashiers and associates could be a bit more friendly. Can you paint the produce department green like the one over on Cortez road? I feel it is more appealing.

Great overall except if you go later in the evening now they are having more people do self check out, so as long as you don't have alot or you don't mind doing self check out, I prefer going through a normal cashier line because self checkout can be frustrating when you have a full cart but selection and what not overall highly recommend

Aldi's has bought out Winn-Dixie, they are closing all their pharmacies, so if you use it, so if you use it you need to start looking for a new one. They're trying to keep it on the down low. But if anybody is reading this, I'm giving you a heads-up. They're not feeling a whole lot of Scripps.. good luck

I only gave 2 stars because they have decent BOGO deals. ThisLocation is always short staffed and now they installed a self checkout area( Which requires their entire staff to operate it!) Please if you are elder or have kids, or are in a hurry, find somewhere else to shop. And if you decide to shop here make sure you get the correct self checkout machine. Some don’t accept cash and you don’t know until after you’ve been waiting in line.

There are some things that I do find here that I can't find anywhere else however the prices are somewhat Steep and checking out is a pain in the butt because when you try to check out by yourself it's so unusual friendly it's ridiculous.

They have the best pharmacy. The people there are way too nice, but it's rewarding on seeing that people can still be down to earth. They also understand your problem you going through when it comes to medication. The main text there is a wonderful lady, hard to understand sometimes with her accent, what clearly will get what you saying. He has changed and organized my medication for me many times. The management could give the pharmacy technicians a little bit more help.

I love shopping at Winn Dixie but today was a different story. Horrible customer service, rude management and most importantly I returned my $107.00 grocery order because of it. I will not step foot into this store ever again.

The store is ok, but being a bakery associate myself, I know you are supposed to have spot labels on bakery items so people know what type of fruit is in, for example, turnovers.. nice full table of turnovers but I had no idea what was in them. I was looking for blueberry but it wasn't obvious which ones were the ones I was looking for. Most associates were friendly but they need better signage for people who might be clueless to the way they operate, like in the deli. You can serve yourself but in certain containers the pricing is all for one price and in another container pricing is by the lbs. No signs to differentiate between the two. Great store, otherwise.

They are constantly stealing stuff that I have purchased. They have very poor customer service. The cashiers are always mad about I don't know about what but are constantly trying to degrade and humiliate me. I don't need anybody packing my groceries and other items, so that they can choose what I actually get to keep and to steal or give away what they think I'm not 'worthy' to have. I'm fed up and tired of their mistreatment. It's the nearest store, since the other one closer to Bayshore High School had closed. I hate this store very much.

Always a good shopping experience. Meat prices are way to high but they are high everywhere else. Ive gone from better cuts to lesser cuts. Its challenging now on a fixed income,but im praying it gets better for everyone.
