Luuuuv new Winn Dixie's layout.Love the BOGO! Sure wish there was a new one in Parrish. But I think I read Aldi is taking over. I'm a Publix fan but I go where the deals and good customer service is...so mostly Publix. But it was a treat to go to this WD!

I used to work at this Winn-Dixie as a teen, brings back good ol' memories. Good staff, great manager, Sagest ( I hope I'm spelling his name right) I Isiah get the mixed chicken wing buckets. Delicious. Everything you can ask for in a awesome store. Coin changing machine, lottery, food, medicine, charcoal, veggies, etc. Oh, and the seafood! They will boil/ prepare and cook for you after you pay. I believe it's only certain foods though like anything by the pound and some packaged foods. I'll get a box of the garlic mussels and 2-3 pounds of shrimp, pay them, go back, show the receipt and they'll season to your liking, cook, seal it up and BAM you're ready to enjoy your fresh cooked food almost anywhere you'd like.

I visited this store last Wednesday around 2 pm and noticed it was almost empty of customers, I checked the deli and found among other highly priced foods rotisery chickes, cold and small for 8.99, I can buy 2 large and hot ones at Sams for 10. There were other very high priced items too numerous to mention. At the register the girl asked for my id because I was buying a bottle of wine, I am plenty old enough to buy wine. showed her and she scanned it which i did not like, also she asked for my email and phone number which I refused to give her, she also wanted me to sing for some kind of card and again NO. As long as there are other stores around, I will never visit this one again. I see now why the store was practically deserted.

I have eaten submarine sandwiches all over the world And made some great ones myself! But the Italian subs they make at that store is the best sub I have ever eaten in my entire life I really wasn't expecting something that great from a store It was absolutely unbelievable the sad thing is they never have them! And they don't make them for you like public's Publix subs are not even in the same planet! People just don't know how good they are because they don't put anything on them besides meat and cheese and don't look like they would taste as great as they do Thank you Winn-Dixie!

I've been to about a dozen Winn-Dixie stores since I moved to Florida 8 years ago. Every single one is slightly different.This location is nice and big with a great selection of goods.This one had a wonderful selection of manager's specials in the meat section.Since I moved recently this location is the closest to me.I will be back.

Have shopped at this store for years, but not anymore.12/27/23, 1:30pm/ Supervisor on duty and self check out attendent gave me an attitude about a wrong price that needed to be changed. I heard the supervisor say "she can wait" and walked away. They were too busy being right, then about treating a customer right. Absolutely uncaring and no respect from this store today.

Bogo deals are great. Buy one get one. Hot fresh prepared foods, chicken, fries corn, mashed potatoes, ribs. Whole rotisserie chickens prepared sandwiches. Multiple salads, Coleslaw, potato salad much more.

This store’s Deli is rediculous. The fried chicken seems to be refried. It’s very hard and tastes like old grease. I don’t know who runs the deli there but, they need to make changes. I have to go way cross town to another Winne Dixie to purchase chicken it’s rediculous

This Winn Dixie is really nice. What a contrast from Publix. It's good to vary your shopping experience. They have some very interesting items and I like the emailed receipts and buy 1 get 1. Pretty good produce dept and all employees were kind. Another plus is the location. Just Winn Dixie is there no other stores or confusing parking lot is connected.

Worst cashier I've ever experienced. She asked if I wanted to speak to her manager , I said yes . She didn't call her manager . So,,,, I left all my groceries and walked out . There are other places to spend our money . They lost a customer and my family for life ...

Stores always clean. Cashiers are friendly and helpful. Carts and scooters are always available only store I can say that about. Meat department is always stocked. But the deli department the prices are a bit high for the quality of food. I've gotten fried chicken still pink inside and when they put food out when they start to close the deli the food should be discounted. Some food is hard and dried out and they want the same price for it as if it was just made. Discount the deli food...Like 1/2 price.. Other then that I have no complaints about this store...

Generally, I shop at Publix, so I don’t have to deal with these type of issues however, this day I stopped in Winn-Dixie. The manager was rude and demeaning to her employees and to the shoppers. The way she talked to her employees, She deserves NO JOB. The manager was unkept and had poor hygiene while being rude to customers and employees. I would seriously reevaluate your management team will not be returning to the store. It was a mistake to even stop.

This is my neighborhood's Winn Dixie. It's well stoked and clean. Nice selection of pretty much everything. However, they usually only have 1 or 2 registers open plus the self checkout registers. I prefer to self checkout over waiting in line when the store is busy.

Last evening, I shopped for a few things at our local WD, and like usual, I ended up with a full cart. I normally shop at their competitor because they have all the brands and the customer service is 5 star, but it's further away. WD is very close to my home, and being a disabled senior, it is convenient. When approaching the checkout, I immediately noticed there were no registers opened, but only the "new" self check out. I asked if there were any registers that were/ could be opened, and the young man said no. I wanted to just leave the full cart worth $299 and walk out.When WD renovated to the new system I asked management... will a register always be opened for the elderly/handicapped and they assured me there would be. Sadly, they failed in doing so.Continuing, the young man overseeing said, I could help you if you would like, and I immediately said yes, please. He went and brought another cart, which really helped and then went to help another customer. I saw a total of three young men and two women with a female manager doing absolutely nothing as I tried to fine the hidden barcodes to each item to scan. I have very poor eye sight and hearing impaired, so it is extremely difficult to check for each barcode and learn/work the computer system. After complaining about no handicapped assistance, a guy went over and opened a register after I was almost done. The manager approached and talked briefly to the young man and the guy at the register... looked at me but never said a word or apologized. The young guy who was supposed to offer ASSISTANCE... he didn't until the last item was scanned. I told him thanks for helping me... being somewhat sarcastic, hoping one of the guys would help me to the car and unload but no offer.In closing, I won't be shopping at WD anymore. Self checkout is wonderful for those who have the ability. But to those who are elderly and handicap... it can be a nightmare! Their competitor is worth driving that extra mile to get the service that one needs.WD YOU CAN DO BETTER!!!

I went in to winn Dixie and I paid for some crabs and shrimp to be steam I had more shopping to do so I came back through the checkout line I told the cashier I already paid for my steam food food and I showed him the receipt but he talking about these are coupons he accused me of stealing I don’t appreciate that I don’t have to steal I got a good paying job I love Winn Dixie but today the cashier accused me of stealing I don’t know if I want to go back in Winn dixie any more!
