One register open which was backed up to tge isle. Both self check outs were 10 or more people deep.Left my cart and went home. Ridiculous!

This particular Walmart is a distance from my home, but I'm fairly certain I will return. I was out that way one day and decided to stop for a couple of things. The layout was superb. The building was sparkly clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I was so delighted to find the cat food I use in the size I wanted! It's much more affordable to buy in bulk. The Walmart closer to my home does not offer it and I've been ordering it online from a different provider. It's a great establishment and I will be going back soon.

An employee with a mullet that looks like a man at the self checkout area harassed us. Not surprisingly, we were the only non Caucasians in line. As we scanned our baby formula, she questioned us using a digital coupon from Similac. She defiantly stated that we weren’t permitted to use them, even though we successfully scanned the items, applied the coupon(s), paid and checked out. When we questioned her and said we’ve done it before at this Walmart, she again stated NO and ran to get a manager. She immediately came back, stood in front of us and our newborn baby crying in his stroller, and refused to allow us to pass or move. We questioned her and told her we are just stepping aside to open up the self checkout station to the line behind us, but she ignored us. She pointed to the 2 bottles of formula in the stroller that needed to be paid for, and when we told her to take them, she said we needed to hand them to her. When we did, she wouldn’t take them until we had to force it into her arms. She still refused to move until her manager arrived. By then, we were livid and upset, and the manager Joanne confirmed that we could use the coupons and escorted us to a different register to assist us. All she said was that she would talk to her employee.

Completely unacceptable racist behavior at this Walmart. There’s a woman with a mullet that looks like a man who works at the self checkout area. While we waited in line, we observed that she didn’t seem to care about any of the patrons using the self-checkout kiosks - only to call up the next customer in an annoyed manner when a station opened up. When it was our turn, she seemed to take particular interest. Not surprisingly, we were the only ones who were not Caucasian. As we scanned our groceries and baby formula, she questioned us using a digital coupon from Similac for the formula. When we questioned her and informed her that it is valid and we’ve done it several times at this Walmart, she again stated no, it’s not allowed and ran to get a manager. She immediately came back, stood in front of us and our baby crying in his stroller, and directed us to stay put. “You’re not going anywhere”, she said. We questioned what’s the problem, and she again shouted that her manager was coming. We told her we would just step aside off to the side then to open up the self checkout station to the line behind us, but she refused to move, blocking our path. At this point, our newborn baby was crying nonstop in his stroller. She pointed to the two bottles of formula in the stroller that needed to be paid for, and we told her to go ahead and take them because we needed to take care of our baby. She smugly stated, “I’m not getting them, you can grab them and hand them over.” Shocked, we grabbed the formula and handed it to her. She refused to take them. We had to push them into her arm for her to finally grab them. MAJOR POWER TRIP. At this point, the manager (Joan) finally walked over and we were extremely upset. Joan tried to calm the situation and assured her staff that the coupons were valid. Meanwhile, her employee merely stood there and stared down at us without a word. She refused to give back the formula for us to pay and use our coupons, so we had to grab them out of her arms. Joan fortunately led us away, as we were livid and upset. She merely stated that she “would talk to her [employee]”. It took another 25 minutes for her to sort things out for us, which she did eventually. However, in no way will that ever excuse the disgusting behavior of the power tripping racist employee.

I was looking for raffle tickets, and the young man (I wish I got his name) was happy to stop what he was doing to help me find what I needed.I'm writing this review because this is not the service that is typical of Wal-Mart these days. It is usually difficult to find anyone that is around to help to begin with, and when you do find someone, the typical answer is I don't know.

Dirty, messy store with major out of stocks in dairy, grocery and deli. Looked like much of the product was just thrown on the shelves. Many missing price labels. Whole endcaps with no pricing. The dairy wall units were 75% empty of product. Extremely disappointing, but not unusual for Wal-Mart.

The staff is ok. Some are very nice. Some staff is rude. Store is generally clean besides the bathrooms. However I'll say it's the customers being disrespectful to the restrooms, not lack of cleaning. Decent prices compared to other grocery stores. They have the largest selection of products over other grocery stores. Definitely a good place to go if you want options. Not the place to go if you prefer excellent customer service.

Don't come here if you're looking for a pixel phone case. They carry absolutely nothing for pixels. Unless it's an iPhone, inventory is low on everything else. Tried to pick up a Samsung tablet case, they had One option. Phooey.

Called the deli 6 times starting at 10 all the way til 2. No answer. Customer service finally picked up and said they were too busy to answer the phone, call back. When I said I had been calling all day she said "well they have been busy all day." No apology, no resolution...no help whatsoever. Very rude and demeaning, like I was inconveniencing her by calling.Called the Walmart on st rd 70 and deli picked up on first call.

Do NOT go to the automotive center!! Go to ANY OTHER WALMART. Worst Walmart experience of my life. Ordered a product, “Delayed” almost a month. Was sent away two times. Online chat widget doesn’t respond. Store managers are useless. $1200 order. And they gave me the run-around. Unreal.

Practically next door, so frequent visits. Friendly and helpful workers, reasonable prices for everyday items, usually well-stocked and generally pretty clean.You can find almost anything you're looking for in Walmart from groceries to pharmacy to plumbing or electronics and automotive repair while you shop.

On Wednesday, I purchased 4 tires. There were some unexpected mechanic issues resulting in the installation of new tire sensors. The Manager and mechanic provided solutions, great service and honest advice. I'm impressed with customer service and superb service that I received. I will use Walmart Route 64 in Brandenton for the services they provid. Very honest people. Kudos to the team!

I was trying to shop for my little sisters birthday in the toy aisle, when 5 rude teens kept throwing things over the aisles and hitting me in the head. I told the nearest worker.. Stanley. I told him the issue and he took care of it straight away. He provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I appreciate how he went out of his way to resolve this issue. Workers like this should be rewarded for maintaining a safe shopping environment for Walmart customers.

Got tires put on today the nicest front counter guy named Jason really helped me out knew his stuff the night before booked my appointment on time next day out in hour they have a good crew in that auto center I will be going back for oil changes and basic stuff great price on tires and oil changes thank you Jason and the crew there p.s that’s a nice Walmart

What a sharp looking self check out system. A billion dollar company spends hundreds of millions of dollars on theft prevention, and then balances it all out with the mistake-proof honor system of self check out. Why do they need yo put 6 people in a pit with 3 registers rather than having 2 people scan while 2 people bag and 2 to load cars with the bags and security can go back to their time honored tradtion of reminding me that even if I can't afford the name brand Oreos, neither can Walmart employees so it all balances out. The only thing positive about Walmart ➕️ is its not dollar tree. It sure is 5 below human decency standards tho

I really do like going to Walmart. They have what I need. What I don't like are the people that are getting groceries for the online order people. They are not courteous, nor do they acknowledge that your even there. I would say 1 out of 10 are that way. Just an excuse me would work

This Walmart is close and has good deals yet we are in an inflation right now & their prices keep going up. What really makes me mad is last 3x i went there after 7:00 pm & the deli employees acted like i didn't exist, when i asked for lb. of roast beef they said they were closed. 1st time they pulled that i went & got a mgr which made them fill my order. Yet they keep doing it so i give up & get my deli's @ Publix now. They must not have been trained very well! And whoever does their frozen foods purchasing keeps changing there stocking brands & flavors which makes no sense! When you have brands that continuously are selling why would you stop careyibh those items? Cannot count on my favorite items being there anymore. It has becone a game of chance to get what i want & need everytime i go there. Especially on there ice cream selection...

Too many stocking carts left unattended and blocking half of the isles. Frequently causing approximately 15 people attempting to leave the isle. I ended up leaving my cart OUTSIDE of the isle and had to walk into the isle. Don't know why guests are so rude at this location.

The store has been remodeled and I feel like their dressing it up to feel more like a target. I don't have an issue with Walmart. Good prices, I like that they had some cashiers working. Will I go back? Of course.

Best time to this Walmart is about 8 a.m. From 9a.m. until about 6 p.m. this place is busy. But this place is very well-organized clean the staff is nice I've never had a problem. On the outside the walkway next to Walmart is a little dirty with homeless karts does not affect the overall personality of the store. The cards are out of sight on the side of the building hidden by bushes
