We purchased just 2 items. The checkout lines were long so we used the "scan and go" feature on the Sam's Club app. We scanned our items and applied our credit card to our purchase. We headed to a special designated checkout lane, which was blocked. I asked an employee standing there what to do next and was informed to just head to the exit. At the door we were told we needed to go back through a lane first. The clerk at the register scanned the barcode on our phone several times. We now were able to make it through the exit where the employee said the "scan and go" never worked at this store. Back at the car, I checked my bank app and discovered the purchase had actually gone through. It fact a total of 3 times for the single purchase amount.

I like Sam's Club. It may not be as flashy as Costco but they carry basically the same items. The aisles are actually marked unlike Costco. The meat department is getting better. Their app is better and they have incorporated technology better. As a plus, they have the best roses anywhere.

I have shopped at several Sam's Club stores over the years. This location is one of the most spacious I have ever been to.Picked up a few things, looked at the Christmas and Halloween decorations, and ate some awesome samples.I will be shopping at this location a lot more.

Sam's Club has a wide assortment of goods, such as TVs, tires, jewelry, cleaning products, pet food and supplies, health care supplies, food and more. The rotisserie chicken is fabulous! It's a big store so not a good place to go to if you're in a hurry. They have samples in the food areas at times to advertise certain foods, all of which have been very tasty. There is also an area at the front of the store where you can purchase food to sit and enjoy. Sam's is a membership only club, but it is worth the price.

I went to Sam's Club to get gas since I can get a lower price because I have the Walmart+ deal. I was a little lost at first, but it was actually very easy. Just scan the pump, choose the type of gas you want and then "BAM" your pump is all set to pour gas into your car. (Google maps seems to think I did oh so much more while I was here, but that's it. Just gas).There were a LOT of people here, but everyone was civil and kept to their lanes and the lanes went quickly. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely go back here for gas. Eat to pump and cheap. Just a little out of the way.

We’ve been members of Sam’s Club for quite sometime; with this location being our home store. We picked up an order today and I just wanted to say what a blessing your employee, Kathrine was to us today. She appeared to be working a VERY busy pick up area by herself. The wait time was much longer than usual and she was so sweet and kind that not only did we not mind; it reminded us how grateful we were to even be sitting there, waiting for groceries that you all were gracious enough to gather for us and that Katherine was kind enough to smile through the complaints to serve others; including us. She is a blessing… a wonderful human and we’re so thankful for our wait today. Thank you, for all you do to make our lives easier and for showing up to work during difficult, short staffed times. You are so appreciated.

I went to renew my Club Card today. It expires on January 24th. After waiting for 15 minutes in line because the gal behind the counter screwed up a persons return I finally got waited on. The girl at the counter looked up my account and then told me after ten minutes that she couldn't renew my card because she needed a code and she couldn't find the book. Told me to come back later and maybe she would have the book! What's up with that! Totally incompetent employee.. I guess I ll have to go over to the Sarasota store where the employees are competent.

Got everything except mushrooms.It was too high and out of reach so we asked an employee (bald with sculls shaved on her head) to help us get it down off the top shelf. She refused and said “we don’t pull things this late” and the store was still open for another hour and a half.If I was 6 foot, I wouldn’t even have needed help. That was absolutely ridiculous.I will never come to this Sam’s club ever again.

Came here for some groceries and needed household items! Bulk prices were decent and on par with Costco and BJs, however the lines for checkout and to exit was extremely long! Overall great experience and will continue to shop there again!

Nice parking and entrance. Was gryed by a very friendly woman. Prices were on par for the product I purchased. The self check out is a great option for quick stops/small orders.

people at food court dont want to be there. worst service ive ever had anywhere. guy making pizza didnt even want to cut it, put full uncut pizza in box and gave it to me. heres a secret tip for the food court, DONT GO! super lazy

It is going downhill in pizza place horrible experiences lately. Last two visits no ice and a lot of sodas out & drink area wasn’t stocked smh. The attendants are zero friendly always with an attitude. Tonight we wanted two pizzas for kids a sausage and a supreme well they claim they have cheese only and whyy because they just refuse to do more than the bare minimum God forbid they actually put work in for their pay smh. Customer 4+ years plus member but these past two months pizza area needs better attendants or just shut it downn

So I’ve been shopping at Sam’s for some years. However I like the prices and the store itself. The issue I am currently having is each time in the last few months when I go to check out the front end manager Genie is beyond rude when you first walk up she is to you in a split second and very rudely telling me I need to place my items in the cart at the front of the register, which I do, the way she speaks is beyond unpleasant and how she looks at the customer and check the name and is super rude about just everything. I’m not sure why that certain employee is still even able to work alongside customers but that fact she wouldn’t get the gm when I asked just shows they allow her to do whatever she pleases.

If you coming here to deliver make sure you come at your appointment time. They love to make you wait abs they will unload you at your appointment time. Today is just one of them Day I arrived at 11:45am and my appointment was for 13:00pm. He gave me a door and said it will be a while. Now it’s 13:12 pm and he still handed started unloading he. Just keep in mind if you got another load lined up make sure you give yourself plenty of time. If it was up to me they would get no stars but they got only one star. Delivering at Costco is way better and they are more dedicated in getting the job done. I don’t see myself coming to deliver here again. Sad to say but the unloaded doesn’t really care about your time. They kept telling me just will be a minute and now it’s 13:58pm and still nothing. They don’t want you to show up before your appointment time but they will make you wait. Doesn’t make no sense.

Tire center sucks.Cancelled my install appointment after my arrival. They were short staffed and elected to serve walk ins, and cancel existing appointments.Weekly calls thereafter, asking me about the tires I had told them to send back to manufacturer after my cancelled appt.Not really sure who is in charge there.

I have been customer member for few years. There are not many choices in town. Overall everything is fine like . Their mayor problem is employees at the pizza place do not want to sale the berry Sunday ice cream. I am not sure what is their problem, but every time you as for it they said they don’t have it , yet it is advertised at all times. Very disappointed. If there were other locations in town will never pay membership to them anymore. Thinking on becoming customer of the competition Cosco and drive farther but to be happier with the services. Will no recommend the place to anyone…..

Don't buy any frozen or perishable items such as fish chicken or meat. It takes so long to get out after you complete your transaction that those items will spoil. Then you will spend another 30 mins trying to return said items. Message to sams: if you cant get your theft under control then maybe you should look at your security team and make some changes. But to make your customers wait 20+ mins to leave the store is ridiculous. Not to mention a huge fire and safety issue. And kass is the worst manager rude, dismissive and down right nasty. No customer service skills at all!!!Update: just as bad still. And Cesar is just stands around goofing off with other associates while people are waiting 12mins to leave the store. Any excuse possible and Cesar cant do his job.

The most waisted time been here since 11 and made me to wait till 3 appointment time, but they unloading any truck which came in from Walmart, Sams etc. Really don’t understand if they got the time to unload me why they don’t do it. Don’t came to waist your time coming here before your appointment or better don’t took the load coming here. But the real thing here is if you came late is a issue but if you show up early same thing. Really a trash place

This sams has horrible customer service.. i tried to exchange a shop vaccum I bought here that was damaged and they told me they don't do exchanges and before saying anything put the money back on my card... well I went to check out and I couldn't because the money wasn't available yet... sams couldnt facilitate a simple exchange/ return... Sams club is ridiculous ..Yo u just lost a customer because you are too dumb to conduct business properly . It's 2024 what are you really doing here ? Absolutely ridiculous. Check my name and you can track my return and find out which employee needs training. I was told today that sams doesn't do exchanges !! What a joke.

Great fun shopping this big store. Like Walmart, Sam's has it all and then some. Also has Auto like tires, Gas station, Pharmacy, large quantities of everything. Jewelry and some cool clothing, like sweats and shirts. Pet department and cold cases. Fresh meat department and wines, water, soda and juices.Lots of paper products, all in mega sizes..This store does not provide bags. You must bring your own cold bags or you can buy a nice one for $7.88 in the back of store. Be sure to grab any boxes you see to pack your stuff.Be sure to wipe the scanner itself before you check out with antibacterial wipes, if your using self check out. There is regular check out too!Be sure to wash your hands when you get home. A lot of people go here.Face mask required.Thanks for reading. Ann9tte

I had purchased jeans at the Gainesville club and realized when I got home I bought the wrong size. Went to the Brandon club and they didn’t have any. Then I went to the W. Bradenton club closest to my home and had the pleasure of dealing with three incredible women at customer service; Jenny, Joanne, and their manager Ashley A. ( referred to herself as the little loud one 😆 ). I had let my membership lapse because I live near a closer membership club, but I WILL, be coming back to their store because of the treatment I received at customer service back in October 27th.

Purchased a membership using an offer of Join for $45, get $45 off your first purchase on 06/06/2020. On 06/21/2020 I went to my local Sam’s Club in Bradenton, FL to pick up my card and use my new membership. I asked the associate about the $45 and was told it would be on the card at checkout. After shopping the total was $106.64 with NO discount applied. Another trip to the service desk resulted in a supervisor telling me it takes up to 30 days for the discount to show up on my card. When asked about the promotion that stated it was to be “Off your first purchase” I was told I would just have to come back after 30 days and make a second purchase.I then called customer service and cancelled my membership.
