I recently took my Pomeranian, Sandy, in for a routine grooming at PetSmart in Bradenton, and I was very impressed with the service. The girls in the grooming salon were so friendly and welcoming, and they made Sandy feel very comfortable and at ease. They took the time to ask me about my preferences for Sandy's haircut, and they did a wonderful job of following my instructions. Sandy came out of the salon looking beautiful, clean, and happy!I would definitely recommend PetSmart Grooming in Bradenton to anyone looking for a great place to get their dog groomed. The staff is friendly and professional, and they take the time to make sure that your dog is comfortable and happy. I would definitely use them again!

First time to this particular Petsmart, and it seemed to have a much better selection of fish than the one in Sarasota... I think it was a bigger store as well... A lot more aquariums, lids, lights, and equipment... I'm definitely gonna revisit this store soon...!

Needed to take my 3 year old daughter to the bathroom and I will refuse to give my business to a store that can’t even have separate bathrooms for men and women. This is the appalling and atrocious genderless bathroom that we were forced to use. Absolutely disgusting, urinal- with no door- full of smelly pee. And the fact a man can walk in and pee while you’re in the only stall is insane!

Went to this store to get a certain product, 'Under the Weather'. The store does carry the product, however, I was unable to locate it. I asked an employee, who then led me to the aisle that the product was to be located--it was not there. The item was IN STOCK, just in a box in the 'back room'. They were 'unable' to sell the product to me due to "it rings up the wrong price in our system, so we can't sell it".Seriously? You have what I want to give you money for, but because of a computer issue, you won't sell it?Smaller businesses, even chain businesses like this one, complain that Amazon, etc., is taking business from them. Well--Amazon DID take business from this store, but not because of pricing.Computer issue as a reason to not sell a product--sorry, that's a game I refuse to play.

My grandmother took her dog here to be groomed and when she arrived to pick up her dog (Maltese mix) small dog. Alittle bit of energy. They told her to never bring her dog back again and that she was banned from coming to that store for grooming. NEVER gave her a reason why or told her what her dog did for her to not be aloud to come back for grooming…. The lady was very rude! Shame on whoever this women was that was rude to my grandma for NO reason.

What surprises me is a lot of people say places like this to fish are in sad shape. But that's not the case. I got some fish in there and they're all look really well. I come here quite often to look at their fish. And the prices are a lot more reasonable than most places. See I've been doing fish since the 70s. I have four tanks setup right now in about eight or more to be set up I like my tanks to be at least 55 gallons or higher. Plants are always very helpful that keeps your nitrates down. But always cycle your tanks first that usually takes three to four weeks. But if you want to speed up the process put in a product by Prime it's called stability that puts bacteria in your fish tank which helps cycle tank much faster. Because if you treat your water and put fish in it 90% of the time the fish will die if you cycle it first and then put fish in there you have a less likely chance of fish dying you can always put in one goldfish or a guppy to get it cycling faster too.

Great place to buy dog food and peruse through the different reptiles and fish... However DO NOT buy fish from here please... The fish are riddled with disease, and it looks as tho all the tanks share water.. so if you see one fish looking rough chances are your new fish won't last long either, or worst yet you spread something to your home aquarium, if you don't believe me look up what "ich" or "red spot disease" looks like... You'll find that here.Go to a local aquarium shop, we have 2 or 3 here in Bradenton.

Great place awesome product excellent serviceMe and my girl come here to get supplies for our many animals and their needs. From monitor lizards to frogs and snakes to dogs and cats this place has something for them all. The service is also always kind and respectful. I can't remember a bad time I've had with business with them. Can't ask for better they have our special cat food and the employees have manners.

I came to this location for the first time to purchase fish. We bought the tank and fish products along with the new fish. They sold us 5 fish , sent us home without telling us to properly wait one week before putting any fish in its new habitat with its chemicals, next thing you know these fish were upside down and dead. I bought new fish and one of them got sick with redish spots on the mouth , i went back to the store and got help from store manager on what antibiotics should I give them, they sold us a product that also killed and made chemical burns on my fish. Now im left with no fish. This is so discourgaging. If you dont want anything to happen to your pets be very careful with seeking help from people that work here they care less.

I am now going to Pet Co because of PetSmarts lack of hours ( groomers closing at 3 pm) , also the awful customer service on the phone....I have gone here ( PetSmart ) for the last two years to get my girls nails clipped and until last month it's been a good experience, suddenly they are closing at 3 0 clock and can't ever fit us in, & the girl on the phone is just flat out rude & abrupt which annoyed me causing me to respond the same way back. I'm not sure.what is going on over there, but this is completely unacceptable. I've been a loyal customer, now I'm upset at the person answering their calls and the lack of hours and available groomers. So I am taking my business somewhere else! Seriously All we needed was a quick nail trim I was told that would not be possible today, I was told the same thing when I called two weeks ago, shame on you Pet Smart!!( Same Day, update:) I walked in to Petco on Manatee Ave. Since PetSmart can't get their crap together, And a very nice PetCo groomer explained that it would be just a second they were short handed because the other groomer had a family emergency,but that they were getting someone to help me, the Salon Mgr came over and registered my girls then took them back & clipped their nails, we paid, tipped and are now back in Petco's system , less than 10 minutes in & out the door. Every one at the Petco store was friendly & professional, unlike my recent PetSmart experiences. PetSmart just lost a good customer, Not that they care.

This place is pretty easy to miss thanks to its odd placement in the strip mall, but I assure you, it's as large and spacious as any PetSmart once you get inside. Supplies I need are always in stock, and there's even a CBD store right next to it that sells CBD calming aids for pets. Convenient!

We had a guest dog for a couple of weeks. Looking for small dog bowl that allows a long haired dog to eat without getting ears dirty. Found a small "cat" bowl that held wet dog food and was narrow enough to allow ears to droop on each side. It was an unusual request and they had it in stock. It was for a female and happened to be pink.

We decided to sign up for puppy training and have attended 2 of the 6 weeks so far. I am amazed at how knowledgeable and patient our trainer has been. The store is always clean and the staff attentive to us while shopping or browsing by greeting us and asking if we need assistance or help finding things.

Worst haircut my dog has ever received. They rushed it (1 & 1/2) hours because they had to close early for being short staffed. When I picked her up there were 3 groomers doing nothing. then charged me extra for her “behavior”. Never had any issues before and her haircut is choppy and so ugly. Can’t believe I payed the 75$.

My dog was groomed today and they normally do a good job however this time it was a poor job and I’ll be looking for a new groomer. My dogs ears all uneven and the hair is all different lengths at the ends. Some areas on her ears were missed all together with just adds to the overall uneven look of the cut even more. Just looks like a rushed job and very little attention to detail by the groomer. Won’t be returning. Just overall poor quality job. It doesn’t even smell like they bathed my dog.

Hurt my dog and thought it was funny. Asked to grind my dogs nails but they cut them. Way too short. My dog was clearly in distress when we arrived to pick her up. She limped out of store bleeding. Was treated to hostility when we voiced our opinion. Never again. Be careful they do not care about your animal.

Buy treats or toys, receive points, then use points for money off on more treats or toys.Just sign up online. They also have veterinarian services, next door in many locations.I like the express feature! Buy online, and pay, then just pick up in store. This works wonders if your in a hurry.Love this too, pets are welcome in there stores.The first Saturday of every month, they give out free samples of foods and treats.My most favorite of all, every Easter and Christmas, free photo with Santa or the Easter Bunny with the family including most pets!

When we moved here I went there to have our poodle groomed and was very satisfied. I tried another Grooming Salon or two but no consistency with how my poodle was taken care of. Lieah at PetSmart is dependable and I get the same wonderful results every time.
