They were so loving and helped us get him everything we couldn’t afford just to help take care of him. They are amazing, really.

Petland of Bradenton store was clean. I bought a puppy in November 2023 and just got another puppy Tuesday! The process was smooth and Kaitlyn was very professional and courteous! Thank you Petland for completing our fur family of paws 🐾. Millie and Sunny are best pals and our family is now complete!

I just got my puppy Kira from here. Everyone is so nice and very good at helping answer questions! I would recommend getting a dog here if money is not an issue to you. I got my dog at 12 weeks old which is a very good age to sell a puppy. My dog also has heterochromia which I’ve never seen in Pomeranians! Her coat is also Merle which is also “rare” in Pomeranians! I’m so happy I got her I absolutely adore her. They gave me a 22 inch dog crate and a starter kit which you can buy in store by itself if you wanted it also came with food and a heartbeat toy. I can’t wait to see her when she gets older she’s absolutely adorable! I had this very kind blond lady that helped me I don’t remember her name but I do remember she said her sister was named Kira!! Kira will be a service dog when she gets older! I’m very excited to start teaching her! She also came with free vet for a couple of months as well as free medications! I love everything about Kira she has a great personality and already loves to cuddle and be held. It’s so cute that she doesn’t know how to walk just yet!! Not all dogs from Petland are from puppy mills I did research on her breeder and her breeder was not a puppy mill or backyard breeder. I really do recommend coming here to get a dog everyone is so cute!

The manager (Zach) I think was his name kept his word and made us extremely happy with our new puppy. He was very attentive, helpful and trustworthy. We had came in the day before but because of the timing and due to the holiday we had to wait to take home our fur baby. We took longer then expected getting to the store from traveling and then to meet another couple who was waiting had wanted our pup at the store as well. but knowing he was only around his caretakers and us made us very satisfied and grateful. We highly recommend any family here. Thank you for keeping your word! We love our fur baby

I have only had great experiences here at petland Bradenton. My bf and I got our baby Bubba here. I HAVE to give a special shout out to my name same Kaley, and the manager Zach. They both remember us every time we come in, ask about our baby boy. They are so supportive when it comes to training tips. We will sometimes go in to play with new pups and they do as they do, are the kindest. Next time you’re in, talk to both of them. They helped us fine the right pup for us.

Waited around 30 minutes before anyone greeted us. I asked if i could see a puppy, was told yes and the girl didnt leave the computer. Never assisted me.A couple walked in and were offered a puppy right away and they weren't even interested!It wasn't until I said, "excuse I have been waiting to see one." And someone finally reacted. The sarasota location is much better with customer service. The drive is worth it if you're interested in purchase

Short, but not Sweet. I am a military member that works in Tampa and wanted to create at honest review based off my own experience. Looking for a pet, I decided To check them out because their website look clean and professional. After contacting the store the people that work there were very nice and accommodating to make a reservation for me, but due to military complications I couldn’t make my first reservation. I truly believe they have a strong passion for these animals because they decided to give me a call back to let me know that the pet that I was still looking for was still available and not only that but discounted at a reasonable price. So I made reservation for the next following day for the pet. It all goes south on the very next day when I get there and the pet that I reserved for was not there and they told me that it left before arriving at the location. So in my confusion I say I thought the reservation was for the pet but I soon find out that the reservation is actually for a 10% off on that pet as well as space to play with that said pet. Not for the pet itself. To reserve a pet you need to actually put a deposit down that I was not informed of and I would have done so if that was the case. I probably wouldn’t be making this review if I hadn’t called before arriving to make sure it was still there. And traffic and and out of Tampa is ridiculous (pretty much drove 4 hours for nothing). This is not a bad pet store and if I would have came another day but because of the lack of communication and no most of the pets not being available, I am still on the search for a pet.

First off, I want to give a big thank you to Hailey of maybe it was Kaley (I am the worse with names, lol) and her team, Hailey/Kaley (lol) went above and beyond to help my son and I be able to take this sweet furbaby home! Went in to buy dog treats for me other doggie and left with a puppy! I’ve always adopted or took dogs in, never have I bought one, but the connection was so strong I couldn’t ignore it and I’m so happy I didn’t. We are so in love with him, we named him Lace and we just adore his personality and just how genuinely sweet he is. Thank you so much again for being so patient with me, and for showing us this sweet puppers, he fits in with our family so well! 🐶💜

I got the best dog in the history of the world at this wonderful store. I really don’t need to say much else. I think that sums it up, but let me tell you, I always adopt, always! However, for some reason this time I could not find a compatible dog at the local shelters or online and after speaking to a wonderful woman at the store, named Mary, understood that puppies need a place to live, and they need the right owner to raise them and by golly I met my match at Petland. Shepherd is the smartest, sweetest, most gorgeous and well adjusted member of my entire extended family. Petland helped me with EVERYTHING, from figuring out which size breed would be ideal for me, to reassuring me that I could properly train a puppy (which I had never done), to showing me the free training videos and assisting with everything, even financing (there is no price for love it is priceless). What was just a house is now a happy home. Thank you Petland. I highly recommend this store, they are like family.

I recently just purchased a Golden Retriever from this location, Kaitlyn Carter gave me the best experience! So sweet and accommodating, she had so much patience with me while trying to help me come up with the best finance options! She even followed up with me to make sure my pup was doing okay shortly after I took him home!

I was in the other day with my kids and Bella approached us asking if we needed any help. Of course my kids could think of all sorts of ways she could help them.... "You can bring me a kitty to play with, and a few puppies. Can you take me to see the fish? What do the snakes eat?....... and on, and on and on. This didn't phase her or bother her at all, of course, I said no to holding every animal in the store. However, I think Bella would have been happy to accommodate all of their requests. She is a fantastic employee that Petland should be thrilled to have. I truly believe that people will return just because of her kindness and sincerity.

we loved it, they were friendly and knowledgeable. We had some questions about whether we were ready for another dog yet and more curious about the kind of dog. It was really nice to play with a few puppies because that helped me to understand more about dog personalities and the types of dog we do and do not want. Thank you for the help Kamden and I didn't catch the sweet young girls name that answered some other questions.

Yasmeen/Mary have very good customer service. We were going to walk away from the puppy but Yasmeen and get awesome personality convinced us otherwise. We ended up purchasing a teacup poodle 😍 it was definitely worth the money we spent. Thank you guys

Even though we were too early the manager made sure to greet us and let us know that as soon as they were open he was going to let us know. We waited and once open the door Yasmin was really nice to make sure we knew everything about Lorenzo, yes we named him fast. She was really knowledgeable.

While considering purchasing the puppy for my husband, who is an AirforceVet of 29 years, the puppy coughed a couple of times. I then asked the salesperson, Hallie, why he was coughing. She stated he must have drank something. Though he was damp from just getting a bath. She stated she would go ask. A few minutes later, she came back and said everything was fine. So trusting the sales person. I purchased the puppy. 3 days later, we ended up in the Animal ER. With upper respiratory infection/pneumonia. Was given 3 antibiotics fluid for dehydration and bloodwork. The Next day, which was Monday , was the day for having the puppy. we took the pet to Petlands Veterinarian. Parkway Veterinarian Center. Their own Vet diagnosed the puppy with PNEUMONIA after 3 views of xrays.He gave us an additional steroid to add to the meds given at the animal er. To say I am livid is an understatement!! Defrauded.. and CONNED!! Then when I went back to discuss what happened and questioned the salesperson about selling me a sick puppy. The manager got loud and said he RECIPROCATES the same energy!! It's really completely unprofessional and uncaring, to say the least!! I told him 1 have lost a weeks worth of work and will lose another week taking care of a sick puppy they've sold me. He said that it was my choice not to go to work. I said, "Who and where do i leave a puppy that has pneumonia!!

My fiancé and I are looking to get a puppy and went to Petland and saw the cutest French Bulldog. Our dog passed away 3 years ago and we finally decided to go look at puppies. A very sweet young woman assisted us and asked if we would like to play with her and we were playing with the puppy and really liked her and were considering finding out about buying her when a managerial type woman told the person helping us that the bulldogs are not allowed to be played with without a reservation and took the puppy away from us 😭 I won’t be going back - how rude and heartbreaking. Not a very good experience after 3 years of mourning a lost pet and finally deciding for the first time to go look at new puppies.

Used to be a decent place to purchase fish but for whatever reason has been allowed to fall to the side in recent months. Very obvious there's an internal parasite issue with their system, almost every tank I saw had fish who were severely malnourished and obviously dealing with parasites. If you're here for fish, spare yourself the risk.

If I could leave no star I would. We came in looking to get super worms and a small rat. It took 10 minutes because they went back a fourth on who's going to do because they didn't watch to touch them. The girl who got them was freaking out and about to pass out to the point were I had to get the rat myself. What's the point of work at a pet store if you can't do this things. Get new worker in there

Don't support their puppy mills. If you want a pedigree puppy, find a reputable breeder. I can't help but hope Chewy puts them out of business once and for all.
