Everyone at the market is SO kind. I love Cuban sandwiches, but try to avoid dairy. She happily made and pressed a sandwich without cheese, and even brought out her press oil to make sure it wouldn’t bother me. Sandwiches are so delicious. They’re the perfect spot to stop for Saturday lunches before spending the day in the sun.

Guys! You gotta go here. The food is amazing. The soups are the best in town. Some of my favorites are the gumbo and shrimp and corn chowder. They also make my favorite chicken salad in town and the Cubans are amazing. The people there are so nice and they have an amazing selection of treats and supplies for your pups.

Great spot for fresh breakfast and lunch in a local quiet grab and go but not a franchise place. This people know cooking and great grab and go stuff. And the convenience is great for heading to the beach on Manatee Ave West. Proof is in the photo. Support the locals!

This place is a local gem! Friendly people inside this mini market with lots of homemade soup, sandwiches, fresh salads and sides. Drinks, pet food, treats for pets. Little area for seating and have lunch. Super cute place, nice new owners.I ordered a pressed Cuban made right there. Noshed on a delicious sample of their homemade gumbo (chicken, sausage) delicious! Drove home and ate 1/2 of probably the best, most authentic cuban I’ve ever had in Florida. Huge, slim, wrapped beautifully and tight, so easy to handle just the way a Cuban was meant to be. Nice lean sliced meat and not messy.Do yourself a favor and get a sack of Cubans from here on the way to the beach!!!

We have lived here 5 years and have heard about this place more than once. Decided to finally try the infamous seafood gumbo, and so glad we did. It has an unbelievable homemade flavor with chunks of grouper, mahi, andouille sausage and shrimp. Of course, the base is a wonderful blend of celery, green peppers, onions, tomatoes, and okra celery! Recommend you get the largest size bucket of this delicious mixture and place it over your own nice steaming plate of yellow rice! We did, and we will be back so we can do it again!

Drive by this place every day, have heard nothing but good things before I went. Finally stopped in and got myself breakfast and lunch. Great sandwiches, especially the Cuban. Seafood gumbo is to die for, sweet service and vibe. Really a mom and pop family feel. Also coming from someone who works in the pet industry and has worked in a pets store before, they really have some great pet food to offer so i would definitely recommend checking them out 😁

First visit, I left with fresh boiled peanuts, gumbo, and tropical coleslaw. Second visit, which was in a couple of days, I took home chicken salad wrap, gumbo, & broccoli/cheese soup. I would give 5 stars to all food choices. I have had gumbo from many different places in New Orleans and from other venues, but never as good as from Manatee Market. Going back this weekend for their lobster bisque. Was told that all of the food was prepared locally. Market is well stocked, clean, & staff is knowledgeable and very personable. Be sure to support this establishment, we don’t want to lose them.

I'm the AGM at the Taco Bell just down the road and I come here daily!! I will go out of my way to come to this store! I absolutely love the owners! They are so sweet and their homemade soups and sandwiches are to die for!! Best place to come for convenience and the most amazing owners!! If you haven't been here, you're missing out!!

I live so close to this store, but I had never been inside. I heard nothing but excellent things after it was revamped, so I decided to give it a shot. I’m so glad we did! It is so cute inside, and they have tons of candy options for my kiddos. We have made it our new Friday afternoon treat spot! The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and they are a really special part of shopping there. We used to go to the 7-11 every week, and it was run in/run out… just grab your candy and get out of there. This store makes you want to linger and chat! We love it!

Every neighborhood should have a corner store this good. Enthused new owners. The world's best - I kid you not - seafood gumbo. Andre has served it to aficionados at local restaurants for years. The store is easy to find. It's full of the stuff you need when you discover you're out of it. Terrific!

Y’all. For real, this locally owned corner market is dishing out the most delicious seafood gumbo you will ever have the pleasure of tasting! Stopped by this store for the first time in a long time. Met the new owners Traci and Andre. The store looks great, a lot brighter in there. There are so many more options for food. I bought a fresh pressed cuban and it was delicious. I'm so happy they are making that place a real community market.

Best convenience store in the area. Owners Rhonda & Scott are great people, they bring a true home town feel to the store. Their prices are very much in line with other convenience stores, some things are cheaper here than the chain convenience stores. Great place to grab a quick lunch and cold drink..They even offer high quality pet items, sweet little trinkets and kid stuff also. This store is super clean, super friendly and has a super great vibe.

This store is less than a minute walk from my house and I couldn't be more thrilled with the new owners Scott and Rhonda. Always smiles and good vibes when I go in. They have literally everything I could need, so the convenience is real. Slowly but surely they are making the store look great and even started fixing the parking lot pavement. Overall great people and a great and convenient place to shop.
