We rented 3 kayaks from Kayak Jacks on March 25 to paddle the Robinson preserve and we couldn’t have been more pleased. When I called for the reservation and told Kayak Jack my name was Jack, he said he’d hook me up with a hat or T shirt when we arrived, and sure enough he did! Kody was great and helped us launch and land. They had life jackets and pouches to keep our belongings dry. We did 3.5 miles in around 2.5 hours to include a stop at the observation tower.

Last time I visited Palmetto I flew down with my SUPs. Didn’t feel like bothering with that this trip and found these folks at Robinson Preserve. We are reasonably skilled and knowledgeable about paddle boarding, but it was still nice to have some insight on the wind and tides. Very reasonable prices and great staff. Highly recommend either a guided or self guided tour!

We used Kayak Jack's rentals for my son's birthday party at Robinson Preserve. The kayaks were unusually comfortable and everything went very smoothly despite a couple late arrivals and last minute hiccups (from our side). Kody was very professional, patient and courteous. He gave us such a good impression of Kayak Jack's that we are planning to use them again and recommend them for anyone wanting to rent a kayak.

All around GREAT experience with these guys! We called with last minute's notice and were on the water with kayaks, paddles and map in hand at the gorgeous Robinson Nature Preserve. They were all super- helpful, but definite shout-out to Cody who met us at the preserve and made sure we had everything we needed, including suggestions for where we could paddle and wind-conditions even. Did I mention he was funny?! Had us laughing so hard we almost forgot why we were there! Thanks again to the folks at Kayak Jack's!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend them to people of all experience levels with kayaking. WooHOO!

Efficient, friendly, well-priced kayak rental. I called last minute the night before to reserve a tandem kayak. Got a text back within a few minutes confirming the reservation and providing instructions on how to pay online. The next day, we were met by Cody at the scheduled time and place, and he had our kayak ready to go. Cody provided advice on where to go and gave us a map (which didn't seem to be totally accurate so just be aware), and we were on our way. We actually saw more wildlife earlier in the week when we walked around the preserve than we did from the water so, for us, the kayaking itself wasn't amazing, but we would definitely rent from Kayak Jack's again. Cody and Jack were great to work with, and we felt that the prices were very reasonable!

This is the place to rent kayaks from! They met us Robinson’s preserve boat ramp. $30 for 4 hours is a great deal. They provide kayaks, PFD, and paddle. The very nice guide gave us a map of the paddle trails and off we went! Excellent trails in the mangroves. We spotted several schools of fish and many birds. We kayaked past the tower and then had lunch on the water. Fantastic service and a really fun day

Very easy to get in contact and rent a kayak. We did the self guided tour at Robinson preserve and it was really nice. Saw lots of birds and fish jumping. Kayaks were comfortable and in good shape.

For me it was just a last minute adventure. I wanted to get out for the house so I called and got me set up to go ! The price is the best. 4 hours on the paddleboard for 30 bucks can't beat it. Cody was so pleasant and gave me a water because I came unprepared. He gave me a quick tutorial and a map and off I was!!! It was quite a lovely experience. I love that they just let you go off and it wasn't a group tour. Will definitely book with them again! Thanks Cody!!!

We rented from Kayak Jacks on Sat. Feb 27 embarking from Robinson Preserve in Bradenton Fl. At the last minute the size of our party shrank due to COVID exposure. Kayak Jacks understood any allowed us to modify our reservation. For that we will be forever grateful. Grateful customers are repeat customers. Look forward to our next adventure.

I have now rented from Kayak Jacks twice. Once within an hour of inquiring (and when nobody else on the island would answer back) and another time about a month later.They respond to you within in hour, if they don’t pick up on the first try, because they’re usually out doing a guided tour - but once they respond they’re super quick to make sure to get you out on the water.I truly have nothing but good things to say about them. I live an hour away and have tons of other places closer I could rent from - but I am going to always just come back to kayak jacks because of how helpful, precessional, and awesome they are.The kayaks are in great condition and the 4 hours I’ve done each time is always perfect amount of time. I highly recommend using them and can guarantee you’ll use them more than once. Seriously amazing customer service especially in today’s world!

The day could not have been any better. This company is always amazing. The preserve was beautiful. The news said possibly red tide, but we saw no evidence of red tide at all. I can’t wait to go again

We had such a great time on our paddle. Our guide (George?) was funny, informative and accommodating. I love visiting Sarasota, and will definitely make the short drive up to Bradenton to paddle with Kayak Jack's again.

There were 6 of us. We all had a relaxing time. Easy to find meeting spot. Easy to kayak around and back. We were out there for almost 4 hours. Packed a lunch to go with us. There was a brand new bathroom at one of the landing spots. Kayak Jacks folks were friendly and helpful.

We (two adults) rented one two-person kayak from Kayak Jack's yesterday at Robinson Preserve. The cost was $50 for up to a four hour, unguided tour with paddles and a map. Tours were at 8 and 10 am and 12 pm. We would recommend sticking with the 8 am 'tour' because of the heat. We paddled for over two hours, and it was mostly overcast, thankfully! Bring a hat, camera, sunscreen, water, cover-up, snacks, etc. Kayak Jack's does offer wet bags too. We saw some birds close by and some fish from a distance. No gators, also thankfully, though they can pass through these waters but should not stay due to the salt content (I believe). It was a GREAT experience, and one we highly recommend! The gentleman that prepped us was so helpful and additionally put us at ease. The water was river-like and lake-like at times. The banks, though there were some landings, were mostly mangroves. If we rent a kayak again or if we are asked by family or friends for a recommendation, we will highly recommend Kayak Jack's! Thank you for making one of our few 'parent' dates memorable and positive! (It doesn't hurt that Robinson Preserve is also our favorite Florida Preserve too.) :)

My wife and I have gone down to Florida a few times and we always try to do some touristy Kayaking. When you're new to kayaking or new to an area for kayaking, there are definitely some major helpful tips that can make your experience MUCH more enjoyable. Every time we've setup with Jack to go out down there, he provides a different bit of advice for that day's currents & tides, weather, and any events/happenings to check out while on the tour. We usually go out on our own, and not a guided tour. But every time, Jack has kayaks ready to hop in at the shore on-time, and has them completely clean and issue-free. After having used other kayak/tour companies in the past, we continue to go with Jack every time.I've attached a picture of where my wife and I ended up at a perfect time for an awesome little experience and an amazing shot. This was on the delta right out of Robinson Preserve. We turned this into a 5,000 piece puzzle that we put together and it now hangs in our living room over the couch. Just one of Jack's "hints" that he provided but didn't say what the result would be. As we followed the recommendations he gave us for that day and time, this is where we ended up. Absolutely stunning. And with the timing of it, we were literally there by ourselves.You will not have a better experience anywhere else or with anyone else. I promise you that.

We reserved 2 kayaks the evening before our rental. We received a text confirmation right away, and the boats were available even when we arrived a few minutes early. Robinson Preserve was an awesome paddle, and the gentleman who was onsite was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with directions and suggestions. He even had a great lunch suggestion for subs nearby! Overall great experience.

Jack's Kayaks are the best! They made it so easy to reserve our kayaks, delivered them exactly when promised, provided everything we needed, and were so friendly. Our favorite activity is kayaking the bay area and seeing dolphins and manatees. We wouldn't call anyone else!

I am a frequent visitor to Robinson’s Preserve and every time I see Kody he is always willing to help everyone, customer or not. It is always nice to chat with him about current conditions on the water and life. Today I decided to take my four month old daughter for a walk in park and forgot my big spray in other stroller, knowing Kody was such a nice guy, always prepared, and willing to help I borrowed a few squirts from him. We talked for a few minutes and I went on my way. I got 20 yards away and a man walked by and said to Kody, “Thanks for the bag!”, Kody had gifted that gentleman a travel bag. Kody has my vote for mayor of the preserve! He is exactly what every company should be lucky enough to have on their staff, and I hope his skills are appreciated by everyone. Thanks to him, my daughter and I had an unforgettable day in the park.

Both the gentleman who answered the phone today and Cody who met us at Robinson preserve were so friendly and helpful. Cody really went above and beyond with outstanding customer service. We had an AMAZING time- caught 5 snooks, saw so many beautiful birds and paddled through mangrove tunnels in a tandem Kayak. I highly recommend this activity!!!

Was able to reserve 3 kayaks the day before and was super easy. We got there a half hour early and was all ready to go. We even got bottles of water and a water proof bag for our phones n such. Kayaking around the mangroves was peaceful and not that busy. The staff were super nice and friendly and would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous time. They gave us new paddleboards to paddle on. The weather was a bit windy but the 11’4” boards were stable and comfortable to navigate even through the mangrove tunnels. We highly recommend!!!

Kayaks were waiting for us at the scheduled time, and Jack was waiting when we paddled in 3 hours later. Top quality gear, map and water proof bag all provided. Friendly service. All for a great price! And it’s a beautiful paddle around the preserve. We’ll do it again!

So easy! We set up a tandem self guide eco tour at Robinson preserve the night before and met at the boat landing! It was amazing highly recommend doing this while you’re in the Anna Maria island /Bradenton area! He really went above and beyond for us

We booked a self guided tour on the Robinson Preserve and had the most wonderful experience. There were four of us, two experienced paddle boarders and two that had never tried it before. Their employee was super friendly and gave a quick but thorough lesson and everyone was able to get up on the boards and had a blast! I can’t recommend this company and experience enough!
