If you live in the Bradenton area or near, Jerk Dog Records is the place to go for some pretty decent records. From classics to newer records, there's quite a variety to choose from.All records come at a reasonable price, and the quality of them are good. If they don't have a specific record you're looking for, they'll try their best to find and order it for you.This was first time visiting this place, and to say I'm impressed is an understatement.As someone who only recently started collecting records, I had a pleasant experience, I asked Douglas (the owner) if they had some certain records, and he looked through some and found them for me, he was really helpful.Douglas is a really humble and honest guy. Fun to talk to, and is quite knowledgeable on music.Highly recommend visiting this place.

Always a fun place to visit when I’m in town. Not overwhelming and always a nice selection of punk, metal, hard rock, classic rock and even a $3 bin with playable records! Reasonable prices make it easy to want to shop here and take something home with you.

Great record store. In every town I travel to, I invariably check out the local vinyl offerings, and I loved this place. It's compact, clean, the records are reasonably priced, there are bargain bins, and the owner is very knowledgeable. I'll be back when I'm in the area.

Quite simply one of my favourite shops in the world despite being 4,000 miles away. I’ve been visiting in the winter since 2019 and it never disappoints.For a start its in the owners garage and Doug is an absolute legend, really cool guy. Stock is always interesting and prices on the used records are always better than the competition. Also has a nice community feel which just adds to its appeal

I love Jerk Dog records!I frequent here at least once a week to pickup vinyl for my DJ collection. Doug the owner is super cool and always has a good selection in stock. They update their new records on their Facebook and are happy to hold a record if you see something you want online before you can come in.Great prices and they even have some great deals such as the $1 bin.This record store is definitely worth checking out! I love the village of the arts as well.

Doug is definitely a nice guy and always willing to make a deal. Took in some sealed vinyl records as I was looking to make a trade. Doug and I came to an agreement! Walked out with the original Joshua tree and Revolver! Love this place

I live in Largo, about an hour from this record store, and was only in the area for an errand. I wanted to find something on the way back to make the trek worth while and this place did not disappoint. Going into it I wasn't expecting much, but the owner was inviting and helped me dry off as it had been raining all day and I didn't want to touch anything with wet hands. After looking around for over an hour I found a variety of interesting records used and new. Plenty of diversity across genres and many records you wouldn't expect to find in a small shop like this. The owner was super friendly beyond getting me some tissues to dry off and well informed across genres. He had some awesome recommendations and was very easy to talk to. I was so tied up in the atmosphere of this place that I forgot my umbrella, at the door, on my way out (it was still raining too). I will definitely be back in the future!

Doug and Jen are the best, and they make the shop what it is. Surprisingly for how small it is, they always have something I end up leaving with. Mostly punk, rock and unique bands you dont see in store often. Do yourself a favor and stop in while you’re in Bradenton, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Place is super punk rock! Love the vibe and prices. Doug is very knowledgeable on what he keeps in stock and always doing more to ensure no matter what you came in for you will always be coming back for more. Just wish I had all the monies to buy all the albums I want.

Smaller store with a great vibe that is a goldmine! My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality selection and incredibly fair prices. Never did I expect I’d score 18 records in a single visit, let alone for just $113. Doug is very personable and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended, we’ll be sure to return!

They have an amazing in-house stock of old, rare, and new records. The owner is very nice, helpful and informative. Found 11 favorite albums, for a really great price, while I was there. Will definitely be back!

Tiny, but absolutely rad little record store located on a covered front porch. I wanted to buy about 50 records, but showed some restraint. A must visit if you like garage/punk or heavy tunes. Very small selection, but I wanted probably half the records in there. Great spot.

There is a 3 person max, so we had to wait before entering. We got A LOT of albums though, so we'll worth it. The owner is extremely nice and even gave us a discount since we bought so much. They stock old albums... i mean OLD... Would definitely recommend!

Excellent! Amazing prices! Some of the best I've ever seen at a brick and mortar record store, even better than discogs. The records are well organized, and they don't just put out beat up records that no one will want like almost every other record store in the country. The staff was friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I found some pretty uncommon 45s that were priced super low, as well as some LPs that were a priced very well. I went through every record in the store and was very excited as I flipped through, because I knew if it was something I liked the price would be right and the record would be in good condition, not something that happens very often for me. These people know how to run a record store instead of a record graveyard. Thank you!
