This only gets 5 stars because of their produce manager Latonya Davis. Every time I go in this store she is working that department by herself. Tons and and tons of boxes unloading, picking up, helping customers, grabbing shopping carts, I even saw her cleaning the restrooms. Meanwhile I’m not sure what others around her were doing. I’ve seen many customers compliment her on how hard working she is. Whomever reads these reviews I hope they own this place. They better be paying her what she deserves because she is an above and beyond employee. Don’t lose that one.

My boyfriend and I DoorDash, I’ve never been to this store before nor have I ever heard of Dollar General Market. Today I got an order in there. My boyfriend was helping me. He asked for shopping basket to complete the order. The store employee told him no because people steal the baskets too, so we walked back and forth with the customer items. Then it seemed like every employee stopped what they were doing to watch us shop like they have never seen black people shop before. The smaller stores treat you way better than this run down, full of racist disrespect employees market.

Awful...I wish they had auto checkouts or truly teach managers and employees how to move people in and out of the checkouts...customer service has to be at the top of the list...people want to get in and get out...simple concept. I watched them do a till change with over ten people in line...four staff and one line open...I just struggle to understand that type of business model...

Great to live by, they usually have all the essentials and more. They also have a decent selection of clothes and shoes, for children especially. The employees all seem very friendly and helpful. This has been my go to store for the last 6 months I've lived down the street, and they have yet to disappoint me.

Management and employees do not know how to take care of customers. On the Dec 11th 2022 around 530 pm the manager on duty has no business operating a store without supervision, she is disrespectful to disabled elderly people.

This is an awesome neighborhood store!I was thrilled to hear about this Dollar General Market complete with meat and produce and a decent selection of bread and frozen dinners. Quick dinner choices. It's closer to home than the grocery store and it's It's a quick in-and-out. The employees intertract with their patrons. Will definitely continue to visit.

Always a great place to shop. Great finds great prices and always one of the cleanest places to shop. Would have given it five stars but it's only down side is the employees there are not very friendly or helpful. They always look like it's not really the place they want to be at. They don't speak to you and their just miserable looking.but if it's a clean store with a big selection of shopping needs then this is one of the best stores in town.

Some of the staff was friendly but they only had one register open with a large line and the cashier working had zero sense of urgency, moving real slow and rolling their eyes at almost everything that was said.Prices were enticing but the service and cleanliness were a bit of a deterrent. Kind of a mixed bag here.

I don't know how people buy food here. I went close to when they opened and the bathroom was filthy. Floor clearly hadn't been mopped in quite some time, trash overflowing, and most disturbing was the watered down soap. I'm not eating anything from a place that doesn't even have soap for the employees to wash their hands after they use the bathroom. GROSS

I go to the Dollar General Market. It's about 7 minutes away. They carry fresh produce and fresh meat. Most of the time the prices are a little less than a Walmart store, a lot closer and way less traffic. The employees are exceptional. If there is something that they don't carry they'll do there best to get it in. I do wish that the customers would quit taking their shopping carts home with them. Also a dozen large eggs are under a dollar and milk runs about a $1.50. The store is very clean. When the Holidays come around I always seem to be out of one item, that is my go to place. They also have a $5 coupon on your receipt for Saturdays when you buy $25 or $30.

Every time I go here I end up being overcharged for an item or the sale price/ coupons don't ring right. I go because their milk is really cheap and they sometimes have good laundry detergent sales. If I go though I have to keep my eye out while they are ringing things up.

Went to the dollar General market today. Went there to go pick up a few things. A dozen eggs that 3 days ago were 85 cents Now they are $2.55. That Is price gouging at its finest. I ask the manager about it today and he said it's because people were buying more. So they raised the prices. They lost loyal customers today. I will not be back. With everything that's going on in our country this is wrong. A Gallon of gas is cheaper than a dozen eggs.

If I could give this place no stars I would. The aisles are ALWAYS a mess. If your looking for something good luck fishing for it. It's never any shopping carts so you'll be carrying your items around the store. The store is full of employees standing around or even playing (which explains why the store is a mess). I asked for a manager to help me do an exchange not only was she rude but didn't even have a uniform on, she walked up to the register with a white tank top (the kind men wear under their shirts) very unprofessional. Your better off going the extra mile to Walmart.

A flower comes out on Sunday in the paper oh, and I drive all the way to the store and there's absolutely nothing and stock the shelves are completely empty. Complete waste of time. When I asked the manager why this is I've told that in her apps the truck has not been allowed all the truckers should have been unloaded before the sale went into effect. I have all three businesses and I've never run a stock on anything in my life I do have to say that the young lady at the cashier desk an Asian lady was very old school and greeted every customer as they came in which is something that I am never ever accustomed to hearing anymore lights not get her name but she should definitely be recognized for her customer service surely not the manager

I used to shop there at least twice a week and spent over a hundred dollars a week until two weeks ago. I usually go in the morning but I went around 5 on the last visit. I asked for a carton of cigarettes and was told they don't sell them by the carton. Never had a problem before but I said ok sell me ten packs. The cashier started to ring up the packs and I asked if I could have the empty carton to put them in. She looked me dead in the eyes and crushed the empty carton. I started to walk out as she yells at me to get away from her register. I was already half way to the door. I've been shopping elsewhere since. You lost a loyal customer because of her rude, unprofessional behavior.

I shop at DGM almost daily! The products they have on the shelves are expanding, i believe because more people are shopping there now!? The prices are awesome! Jeremy, he's one of the managers, i have gotten to know him over time and he's such a nice genuinely kind hearted person. The stockers that I've gotten to know are very nice also.

I've been saying for years all Dollar General Needed was a produce section and I may never set foot in A Walmart ever again. Wish Granted, I was pleasantly surprised on the layout and selections available at this store. Extremely convenient

The deals are good. Its even better if you have an account with dollar General. That way you can clip mobile coupons and get things even cheaper. They even have an isle where everything is a dollar. However, when I went to this particular store it was very unorganized. The Isles are very small, toy can hardly use a cart and the cashier, noticed I said THE cashier (because only onelane was open) was practically non existent. So if you're in a rush..this isn't the place to go. Although, I'm sure it is not like that everyday. So it all depends on if you're in the mood to gamble and take a risk being late to your appointment or not.

I love The store first experience about a month ago and the cashier tall man with glasses manager lady manager African-American was very nice was very nice the gentleman that cash me out was very very nice and helpful they are great discount manager lady and the cashier help me download their app I spent $50 with discounted everything I walked away would about $10 savings and I was so impressed with that little place I'm newly area can't remember where i like everybody believes he is so I'll have to ride the bus getting familiar with that around here and I'll go back there soon as I can go to install Dollar General Market and they got great vegan food for anybody my husband was at store he's a vegan I was so impressed with it 10 * Dollar General Market

I love the convenience of where this store is located, close to my house(in case I need something real quick), the affordable prices, and how coupon friendly it is. I would of gave 5 stars if I didn't have to go searching for carts EVERYTIME I go there. OBVIOUSLY the staff don't care about making more money cuz if people grab carts THEY SPEND MORE

This is our ghetto Dollar general usually dirty but always have enough help to get the people through everybody always steals shopping carts there end up in the streets of Bradenton somewhere keep the shelves pretty well stocked
