CVS is a big company; most people know that. But they have an important role in my everyday life. First, and foremost, their pharmacy has been a mainstay for prescription fulfillment for many years. Second, it is convenient. My store happens to be within walking distance, but there are other stores within a short drive. Third, they have extensive OTC selections of remedies as well as other health-related products. Now they are offering a health concierge service. Fourth, they are my "go to" source for my guilty pleasure snacks. Finally, their pricing incentives makes it easy to add items to the shopping trip that might not have been "on the list". And that can make me happy.

The Nurse Practitioner was wonderful and made me feel heard and not rushed. She addressed my health concern and thoroughly examined me.

I always find the pharmacy staff friendly and helpful, and willing help with any questions. Those that administer flu vaccines are skillful with the needle and the shot is in your arm and done before you even realize what happened.

NP Karen was just altogether amazing and the pharmacy team was quick to fill the antibiotics I needed. I’m so glad they were there to help me!

What a bunch of lazy, inaccurate pharmacy staff. I went to minute clinic they sent prescriptions there. I have blue cross so it needed to go to Walgreens. The pharmacist and myself had to call multiple times. Started at 9 am took till 244 for then to get all 3 prescriptions called over. Lazy inaccurate will not go back

CVS is a very low quality company in general, but this particular location is the worst in the area, and I strongly recommend against it. Staff turnover is very high (look up employee reviews of the company; it's not a good place to work), and they are not trained well in the basics of their jobs or in customer service. There is no excuse for either. They have made mistakes in my medications, including giving me the wrong one. They are inefficient, not well informed, and there are too few of them. The drive-through is terrible. There are two lanes, and more often than not, only one of them is working because they don't adequately maintaijn and repair the equipment. It's extremely slow, and traffic often backs up into other areas of the parking lot; either the drive through gets blocked, or access to the lot is blocked.Good luck if you need help with anything; there is never more than one employee on the entire working floor, and that includes the chronic lack of cashiers. Not only do they want you to use self-checkout, they EXPECT you to. I don't care for them, and I don't get a discount for using them, so what benefit is there for me or for any customer? It's sad to see how often a senior customer who doesn't deal well with technology struggles with operating one. I have gladly offered to assist and will, but that's not MY job. The aisles are too narrow for disabled people to use easily, and they constantly have displays that stick out and make it impossible for a wheelchair user to get through. Most of the time, customers are not treated like they're valued. Take your business elsewhere.

This location is consistantly the worst for Pharmacy and customer service in general.Example: Last night I received a text message they were out of stock on my regular meds. Called for over an hour and placed on system hold EVERY time. Called for manager on shift and was on hold for 5 minutes. I drove to the store while my call was on hold with the Pharmacy. Three people working and only two customers in line. I complained, they did not care.

Every month when I refill my meds a tech decides that I can't afford them and refuses to fill my script! I call ahead and tell them 'I know it expensive, I pay cash" days go by and the system says processing so I call again "oh no we shelved it because of the cost"... I already told them multiple times I pay for it!!!! Then I ha e to wait for them to order itiaam always days late getting my meds because they refuse to do their job!! They won't even call to tell me it's expensive. This is my last refill with cvs next month I'm sending it to walgreens. Tat least they are polite to you i stead of acting like you're a bother wanting your meds!

Very disappointing pharmacy customer service today calling this CVS pharmacy at 43rd St W and Cortez Road W in Bradenton, FL. My 85-year-old Mother spent 20 minutes on the phone with a pharmacy tech who did not listen. Mom told her she needed delivery today and the girl never once told her that they don't offer same day delivery. After 20 minutes on the phone of finding what she needed and holding for lengthy periods, another pharmacy tech girl tells her their delivery takes 1-2 days, and it's not driving delivery but shipped thru UPS or USPS only. Mom talked with the Pharmacist on duty and he never once offered that she could use a third party delivery service, Instacart, to deliver in an hour. The tech girls didn't either! (I found this on the CVS website.). Furious and Frustrated that there is No Customer Service at CVS, no care or concern, only melancholic, laissez faire attitudes that are near robotic like their phone bot that answers all calls, and you have to hear repeating messages about Covid twenty times every minute on hold! CVS and Walgreens have become Monopolies that have made their employees slow and apathetic to their customers delivering absolutely No Customer Service. They have no idea what customer service is! Ready to find a local, independent pharmacy that delivers daily for seniors who can't drive anymore!

The Store: 5 StarsPharmacy :1 StarOverall: 2 StarsPharmacy is the only reason I come here and it’s not by choice.(my insurance) It’s always a nightmare. Very busy, lots of customers fast paced and always feel rushed. The line is constantly out the door. Whether it’s drive though or in store.Update:The worst pharmacy. They are always packed and ever really have enough people at the pharmacy. Never takes 5-10 minutes to pick up medication. Always much longer. I honestly prefer Walgreens over CVS. My insurance says I have to come to CVS. Recently I stayed in drive through in line for 45 minutes for me to finally get to the front of the line for them to tell me that the machine is broken and that I would have to go inside. Once inside I have to wait 15 minutes in line for them to tell me that the medication that I called for yesterday is not ready yet. After the lady says “I can expedite it will be another 15 to 20 minutes” I literally wanted to cry! I hate it here and I am looking to contact my insurance to go to a different company because this is bull.

Don’t have your medication sent here!!!!!!!Worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Medication is on back order won’t transfer it even though it is absolutely vital I have it. If something happens to me I wonder if they can be held accountable… I was told it was available when I called it in. Tried to talk to a manager and they didn’t even come to the phone. This place is a joke.

This pharmacy is the worst! My doctor called in 2 prescriptions and the pharmacy let them know that they didn't have 1 of the prescriptions, so my dr was able to call it in to another pharmacy. They didn't bother to tell my dr that they don't have the other prescription either and OF COURSE it's non transferable. So, now I'm stuck on a Friday afternoon with an extremely high fever, and Publix can't get my prescription in until Monday after 3pm. I'm sick now, and need the medicine NOW! Who knows if I'll even need it by Monday!😡 This is actually fairly common with them too. I get 3 prescriptions every month, and it's always an issue. Going to be transferring to another pharmacy ASAP.

CVS Minute Clinic....expect to be there one hour and a half with the appointment you made the day before. Instead of concentrating on the client with the current appointment, they shift you around and other people will get ahead of u and leave before u even though they came in way after u. Joke on this Minute Clinic thing. NP doesn't tell u what u don't have and gets real rude about a Z-pak. I left this pharmacy years ago now I guess Minute Clinic isn't worth it either!

Not a good experience speaking to a Pharmacy person. Second time I've called with questions about my pen needles and said person was very abrupt and annoyed that I was questioning anything. I have news for you buddy...it all comes around eventually. I'm changing locations..see if they're interested in being helpful. This store has big problems.

I called this evening to obtain pen needles necessary for the administration of a prescription medication that I purchased from this pharmacy. The medication price was $1100, and no one informed me that the necessary needles were not included in the package. I spoke with a female pharmacist who told me the needles required a prescription. I inquired as to how much the needles were. She informed me that she could not tell me without a prescription. I inquired again for an estimate, to which she replied " I would have to know what size, they make 1.5 inch, 1 inch needles ...it all depends how big you are". At this point I called her out ... this is a subcutaneous injection that does not depend on big one is, and at most would be 6mm in length. I asked how they would be , she replied $1500. I said , no way... there is no way the needles are more than the drug, this is crazy. She said "it is cheaper on insurance" , we went back and forth ...me saying there is no way it is $1500, her saying it was. She added ..."there is a nationwide shortage".She was rude and condescending, and I asked for her district manager's name to which she instructed me to call the 1800 CVS number ...stating we are getting nowhere. I then called the CVS on Manatee , and spoke witha nice young man,Chris, who gladly helped me. He had a box of 100 that could be purchased without a precription for $70. We will be moving our prescriptions to the Manatee Avenue store.... a store that cares for their customer. I only wonder how many elderly people this rude pharmacist has done the same thing with, and they did not go the extra step and simply chose to ot get their necessary medication or supplies because they could not afford this tremendously inflated price.

Ive been coming to this CVS on Cortez as an "out of towner" from PA for the last 2 years. I havent always been able to use my PA insurance and they have always gone out of their way to help me with discount plans for those "with out" insurance. Employees in pharmacy and the front counter have always been courteous and helpful with me. Ive only had positive experiences here. Definately recommend!

This is literally the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Every time I come to pick up my prescriptions there's always an issue...either with insurance, or they haven't filled it yet, or they tell me I need my ID bc they THINK my script is a controlled substance but it's not...the techs here have no idea what they are doing and they are rude. They only have one side of the drive thru for pick up and drop off and the line moves slower than my great grandma.

NP Denise in the minute clinic is unpleasant. Treated me like a child after I was waiting for an hour and has misinformed me on multiple occasions. She should not be working with people if she has this attitude towards customers.

We are loyal CVS customers over decades of our lives. I just experienced the most horrendous treatment from someone named Rose who became unglued and screamed a me in front of customers both in the pharmacy and in the front of the store. Another worker said she was the manager! She nastily informed me that I couldn’t use my app bar code to pull up my name and birthdate to pick up my script. She was screaming about what a hard day she was having due to renovations. Hard day?? Guess what? I hope this was her last day. I’ve notified corporate and I plan to pursue all the way to Woonsocket.

I don't typically leave bad reviews because I feel that there is too much negativity but this pharmacy needs to work on how the treat people. Work on the golden rule, treat others the way you want to be treated. I have never gone to a CVS pharmacy to pick up a prescription and been treated like a complete waste of time. The girl didn't even look up to see if my prescription had been called in, just automatically sent us away. My husband went back in without me because of how rude she was. When he asked her what the deal was she finally looked in her system to see if it had been called in and magically it was. It was very evident she hates her job and dealing with people.

I went to pick up a prescription on a Saturday evening. I pulled into the drive-through a couple minutes before they closed. There was a car in front of me that they were helping. When that customer was finished I went to pull up to the window and as soon as I did the employed put a close sign in the window and would not help me. I feel this is extremely rude. It would have only taken her to minutes to process and hand me my prescription. I could understand if I had shown up after 6 o'clock. But I was in line before they closed. They should finish serving the customers that were in line before they close.

Worst CVS ever. Last week I dropped off a transferred script so she said 24 to 48 hours. Went yesterday and it still wasn't ready. Finally get a text that it's ready. Went today to pick it up and they were closed for lunch!

I have had several times when the prices were wrong in the computer and I had to correct it for the sales person. Also, tonight I bought hydrogen peroxide and realized just a few minutes ago that it is leaking onto my countertop. I will not use the store again.

I didn't realize you can save a spot in line with 3 12-packs of soda until tonight. I also didn't know that the first priority when walking through the door was to remove the reduced prices stickers instead of trying to clear the line. I swear I waited 20 minutes because some lady was going through the CVS ads to figure out which things she can get on a discount. While on the other register, the cashier let a woman cut me because she had put down a bunch of groceries at that person's register. Meanwhile, said cashier [once she returned to her register from only God knows where] proceeded to explain the differences between some reward program and a credit card then did not know how to ring up some of the common items. Of course, all I had was a single Infant Tylenol for my son who was sick at home that cost a total of $7.49 to which I had cash. The total time it took for me to walk up to the cashier and checkout was a whopping 15 seconds. The total time it took for me to wait in line while these two cashiers [and one cashier not at a register] were ringing up two other people was 20 minutes. Great Job CVS Pharmacy #5780

I went to this cvs right before Hurricane Irma. I dropped off a written prescription with 3 medicines on it and was very clear that I needed all three refilled. When I returned to pick them up, Sandra only gave me 2/3 and, without checking the computer, lied to me and told me the third one was too soon to refill. I explained they were all on one prescription paper so she checked her computer and found that yes, it would be covered, they just didn't prepare it. Low on scarce gas and irritated that I had to waste more of it, as well as precious time, to come back due to their error, I told her that an apology for their messup would go a long way. She refused and gave me a bs non apology. Luckily, I don't use this cvs regularly, but if I did, I would move my prescriptions elsewhere. Don't lie to your customers and don't screw up during stressful times! If you do screw up (it happens), apologize for it!

Sitting waiting for my Rx and I've never seen employees so seemingly unhappy in their jobs. Not to me ..but on the phone and the few people behind me. Rude. And the fact that Rabe is still the pharmacy mgr...after the complaints against him. Time to switch pharmacies!
