Almost every single review here on Circle K (don’t confuse with another branch further down) is someone who was towed. There is a massive scam going on at this place. EVEN CUSTOMERS WHO BOUGHT FROM THE STORE, LEFT THE CASH SLIP ON THEIR DASHBOARD TO QUICKLY GET ICE CREAM, REPORTED THAT THEY WERE TOWED WITHIN MINUTES.If you don’t believe me, read the Google reviews here and on Manatee Towing Google reviews!You won’t find an address on Google for Manatee Towing. Why not?I’m another victim of this dreadful scam. Do NOT park at this place, don’t even shop there.Only one small ‘no parking’ sign at Circle K’s parking entrance, which we didn’t see.Our hotel manager’s 80 year old priest’s car was towed there two days ago.I hope someone exposes this money making racket between the owner and Manatee Towing. And, they only accept cash which is very suspicious.After a long Uber drive to a shady dark yard, we were first told we couldn’t get our car back. After a lot of convincing, the manager at the tow truck business released our car.The sad part, is that Circle K Corporate also doesn’t seem to care. I will NEVER put my foot into a Circle K, ever.

I have lived 10 minutes from Bradenton Beach for the past 8 years. Last night, 6/12/22, I was a customer at the Circle K and left my receipt on my dashboard to run an errand and when I came back my car was towed. The sign that says that “unauthorized vehicles will be towed” was facing the street, not where cars that are parked can see it. There are no posted signs as to what is an authorized vehicle or how long you can have you car there or maximum towing costs. When I went inside the store a blond male clerk said that he was sorry but if you didn’t make a $5 donation to the Red Cross and say you were leaving your car that the company would tow it. I saw another customer have their car towed as well. The towing company used: manatee towing company in Bradenton, FL is used throughout Bradenton Beach and was seen towing cars within minutes of them parking at other locations in the town. When i mentioned to both Jeff and Charlie- the owner of manatee towing that my car was not an unauthorized vehicle and showed them my Circle K receipt they denied this fact.There is an extreme problem going on here and it’s going to affect our economy and life for us locals. It cost me $250 to get my car back when I was a customer and parked in the Circle K parking lot. I have reached out to the towing company multiple times, Bradenton Beach clerk, and Circle K corporate and am awaiting a response. My family and I respect private businesses and rules but this is serious and cannot be fully legal, what do we do about this?

A local who frequents this store. Convenience is their business.Free parking IS NOT THEIR BUSINESS! You should never block one business’ parking spots by going to another business! Common sense people! I don’t care where you are from, you have to know this is hurting their business if you park your car there and leave (even for 5 minutes!). That means someone who wants to spend their money at circle k cannot do so.The tow companies drive around and watch for people making poor decisions; Circle k employees have better things to do than watch your car and call it in…Use your brain and only park in public parking lots or the spaces designated to the business you are currently in (!!) and enjoy your time here.

These people have a tow truck waiting to tow cars and golf carts. My family and I parked at the circle k to grab an ice cream and we were going to stop back in circle k to get breakfast food for the morning. In the time it took us to grab ice cream and come back it was gone. So in less than 15 minutes our cart was gone costing us $400. I would not recommend going there or parking for any reason! The tow truck company (Manatee towing) and the circle k staff are working together to ruin your vacation! I would be willing to bet they target golf carts because you have to have them bring it back for an extra charge of course!

This business is despicable, around 9pm last night my friends car was towed from this parking lot (which had plenty of spots available) after we spent a few minutes down the street getting an ice cream (technically 7 minutes, I counted). It was wonderful to wait in the dark for 40 minutes and watch multiple cars that also parked there without the intention of going inside sit there without being towed as well. Shame on you for letting two young girls stand outside for an hour waiting for a ride at night just to make whatever commission you guys get from your towing services. This is literally a beach town, maybe have some decency and wait for 10 minutes until you ruin someone’s night ?? 250$ down the drain for nothing

We came here tonight to Get air in our low tire it was out of order so we went and grabbed food untilOur in laws could bring us an air compressor not ever seeing the hidden tow away signs since we came In the back way. Came back not even 30 min later our car was gone. we’re tourists and leave in the am so it was a huge inconvenience and $250 to get our car back. The worker was very rude. Don’t give these con artist your business and never park here period. Several other cars were there for over an hour while we waited for a ride. Ridiculous to say the least this should be illegal.

I parked here with the full intention of going in for a few items but walked next door first to grab a ice-cream cone. I was gone less than 15 minutes and my SUV had been towed. The tow company scratched the bumper on my new Mercedes GLE, thankfully in FL the tow company is liable for any damages to your vehicle when it’s towed. It cost me $300 cash to get my SUV out of a disgusting tow yard that was manned by people standing around barefoot in the dirt. The handful of people working the yard may have had 10 teeth between all of them. This store is wretched and the Manatee tow yard is worse. Don’t shop at this store and definitely don’t park here or you’ll find yourself picking your car up in a situation reminiscent of the movie Wrong Turn. Thanks for ruining an otherwise lovely vacation. I wish I could give negative 5 stars for this establishment.

Not a fan of this place or the "managers" that probably get kickbacks from towing companies. Please be careful parking here for more than 5 minutes. They will have your car towed = $215 plus $30 uber

This place is in with Manatee towing. They will tow u in a minute even if u buy from them. I hope everyone will boycott this business. They are thieves and money hungry. Don't buy from these selfish people. I hope they have to close.

Don't park here! They have 1 sign hiding that u will be towed if u park there and tow u away after being parked 5 min. You can't see the sign and on the road there's a sign for a parking lot so it tricks you! $150 to get your car back! A lady stands on the porch all day smoking a cigarette and calling in the tow company.

I wish I could give this 0 stars. Part of a scam that Blackmailed us. Broke countless laws. Made us pay a ridiculous amount. Biggest scam. Sketchy and got defensive and changed their whole demeanor when we brought up laws they were breaking. They work with the the Circle K In bradenton. Beware!!! Don’t park there!!!

I shop here often and love the convenience as well as most of the staff, who I know by name. My visit today was disappointing. Vicky, the cashier spoke to me like a child. I was speaking to another worker and told to stop Yakking! Needs to be taught better customer service! So rude and uncalled for!!! This lady always seems to be snippy but this was over the top! I left wo making my purchase. Literally, left it on the counter and came back after she was done with her shift.
