Today was Squirty’s 1st time at scenthound & we couldn’t be happier, his coat was completely blown out and fresh he had to feel 5 lbs lighter, our fur baby came out smiling 🐶😃

Don’t take your pet for grooming here. It’s a scam. I dropped my dog off for cleaning(fur, teeth, ears annd nail trim) and cut. They reached out 15-20 min later saying she was done. How could you do all of that in 15 min?? You can’t. They don’t cut her nails or trim. No idea if they did the rest and they charged me $59. Total scam!!

Brought my Great Pyrenees in for his first ever professional grooming appointment.. and he’s 8.. so you can imagine how much hair and Matting he had. He came out a brand new dog!! He looks like a puppy again and definitely feels amazing too. They took awesome care of him he was so relaxed and got an amazing cut with no shaving! Couldn’t be happier with his experience! Will definitely be back!

I have been a client since Jan 2019. Have stayed through Covid etc. when I signed up, I was told the sessions never expire. I found out this week that I lost about $1200 of sessions between two dogs. There’s a new owner and I was informed they will not be honoring or keeping things as they were. Would’ve been nice to be informed of these things. Also, everytime I have left messages for appointments or to speak to a manager, I don’t receive a call back. Had to call again today because I was again promised a call back and no one did. You can also tell by the recent reviews, that the service has changed drastically....Edit: Spoke to the manager who stated she will not do anything but offer me a dental treatment for the inconvenience. That in itself shows you they don't care about their loyal/returning customers.

I have been bringing my large, 105 lbs dog here for over a year. He started with them when he was just 7 months old. At first, I was very impressed with their grooming, professionalism and customer service. My dog is a giant teddy bear and loves to go anywhere and everywhere, even the vet! He loved going to scent hound, as the staff loved him and they were more than kind and accommodating of his size.However, today was an ABSOLUTE DISASTER!! I have never ever experienced such poor customer service and quite frankly disrespect. I dropped my dog off for his appointment (Bath and blow dry) at 9:30am. I came to pick him up at 11:30, as I received a text he was ready. He was brought out to me completely soaked. I asked why he had not been dried and they said it must have not been specified when I made the appointment.*Please keep in mind I have been bringing him for over a year, and made the appointment over the phone. They asked if I wanted what was on file, I said yes please! HE WAS NEVER EVER BROUGHT TO ME WET, EVER!*When I kindly asked for the mistake to be corrected, they tried telling me they do not have the time. I insisted I was not bringing my DOODLE home wet. This can cause mildew or even matting. They agreed to blow dry him. I come back 40 minutes later, and he's not done yet. They say at least another hour. I come back an hour after that and they tried telling me it takes FOUR HOURS TO JUST BLOW DRY MY DOG!!! I have never ever left my dog there over 4 hours, even for a full groom which includes a haircut, gland cleaning, nail grinding etc.When he was brought out to me, he was clawing at the door. This is something I've never experienced with him before. He normally loves the staff and lingers around for some extra pets or a treat! When brought out, he was still wet, and I was charged for him being blow dried. When confronting the manager that he is still wet, she said "he must have stepped in something on the way up here". Bottom line- the service there sucks now, and I will not be returning. And as for the groomer, she said "I cannot speak for these other groomers who were here before that set an unrealistic standard". No- the standard is, a bath a blow dry should not take 4+ hours.

Terrible experience, they have a promo from $35, "Trial Package Includes: Bath, Ear Cleaning, Nail Clip, Teeth Brushing", well, that took honestly 10min and they give you the dog wet, the drying cost extra!..... trick ha.... I wonder if they really cut the nails and brushed her teeth in such a short time. It was a first visit to this place based on the promo to see how that was, I will never come back.

Dulce de Cocoa was a little apprehensive about going in, as she is with most new places. We recently adopted her from PBCACC so we weren't sure how she would respond to this situation. They had treats on the counter which put her at ease almsot instantly!IDK why I expected it to smell funny in there but it didn't, at all! I loved being able to chose a wash based on her needs. We went with the Japanese Cherry Blossom. It's a sweet scent but not strong or overwhelming.Her first BENT services were free since she is a shelter rescue (IDEK that until checkout!) BUT I was thoroughly impressed with the quick & efficient process, we signed her up for a monthly membership!

Not good since new management took over. They don’t spend time on your dog at all. I got my dog back soaking wet. They only had him for 15 minutes and said they bathed and dried him. My dog is an older dog and gets very stressed when being blown dry, so they are supposed to put him under the fans to dry. I canceled my membership after being there for years. I will be taking my dog elsewhere where I know they care for the dog.

Been going here for years... recently, their quality of service has tanked!!! They used to take at least 2 hours to groom my husky (including a thorough blow dry). Last few times they are done in 45 minutes and she is still damp. I said something to them and they said the old staff was just really slow. This time I get her and she’s not fully dried (they said they sprayed her with something). I get her home and petting her down and she’s really damp all over and doesn’t even smell that clean. Cancelled my service with them. I will find another groomer that actually does what they are paid to do and not just rush pets in and out quickly to make more money. I gave 2 stars (instead of one) because, after I complained, they did refund the $25 that they charged me for the blow dry. But if they would have just done a good job in the first place they could have kept the $25 and a years-long customer.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO THIS PLACE!!! THEY ARE TOTALLY INCOMPETANT AND CLUELESS ON HOW TO GROOM YOUR DOG!!They gave my dog the wrong cut (shaved him), they still charged me and lied as to why they shaved my dog and only admitted they gave the wrong cut after I complained to them! My dog is also acting traumatized now and I believe he may have been mistreated! THEY AGREED TO REFUND US AND NEVER DID!STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!

I took my pup there for the first time and they were excellent. They walk you through different “scent” options and length of the hair you want. They are very thorough, ask questions, and listen to any concerns. My pup came out looking fantastic! I will definitely go back!

Absolute terrible treatment of staff. Dirty facility with mold in every corner. Don’t bring your dog here, the last thing they would do is value you or your dog as a customer.Won’t be surprised if they delete this review! They are known to do that.

I don't know what they do with my dogs when I leave them, but both of my girls get so excited when they realize where we're going, and can't wait to get inside and greet the staff. I think my puppy likes her groomer better than she likes me.

I absolutely love the way my dog Max was cared for. He looks & smells great! He was very happy both before and after getting groomed. All of the girls working were very sweet and helpful. I’ll definitely continue to bring my little man to this location :)

This was my first time at the salon and quite naturally I was nervous. Upon entering the staff at the desk were warm and friendly. They assured me that my baby would be well taken care of. When I picked him up he was adorable Sky did exactly what I asked for. They even checked with me at the pick up to see if I wanted something a little shorter. I highly recommend this salon and the care they take is truly wonderful

The staff were lovely! I made sure to tell them that Todo was a difficult groom. He doesn't like anyone touching his legs, he hates the brush and can be very snippy. He came out a little more shaved down then I would have liked but to be honest he was so matted and now I won't have to worry about a haircut for awhile!! I gave him trazidone to help keep him calm but he was very nervous as was I since it was his first time using any other groomer than the one in NY in 12 years. Today he is peppy and his old self so everything went well!!

It was my 9 month old puppy's first grooming experience, and it was Great! Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who immediately put us both at ease. When I came back to pick Maxi up, I was so happy with how he looked, and he was in a very good mood too! I highly recommend Scenthound of Boynton Beach, and will definitely be back when needed!

If your dog is nervous about nails getting trimmed, this isn’t the place. They gave my pup back and only did the back paws. Said he got ‘too stressed’ they should know how to deal with this as a business offering that specific service. My dog is a mini Aussie 20lbs to give an idea..did not charge me but waste of time.

I have done a 5 star review in the past.Since the recent turnovers and new staffing I no longer feel safe bringing my dog to this location. The staff can barely handle walking him to the back, and keep him away from a cage with a reactive dog in it. It’s a shame because I have been a member for over a year now, and I used to love bringing our dog here. It’s no longer safe, and the staff has no clue how to handle dogs.

Pricing is very good especially if you get on the program and be a member. My little sugar came out of this smelling like a baby clean she was happy and they even did her dental hygiene. Very nice people I recommend it highly.

The quality of services has definitely gone down over the last few months between waiting 2 weeks for any appt availability, to the constant turn over of staff and the quality of the bath and nail grind...the new manager assures me she is working on things but personally, I am done trying. I was supposed to get a call back from whoever handles the cancels last week and that didn't happen either. Be careful with banking extra washes if you decide to cancel they only give you the remainder of the month to use them. I am out $75.

a huge scam ! First Convince us to join the membership without mentioning my card is going to be charged automatically on a a month , second saying all basic cleaning services will be provided to us once a month with no charge and then bring out the dog after 30 min all soaking wet and when I’m asking why ? ohh add another 20$ to blow dry come on !!! Horrible way to treat people and dogs the ladies in the front not even welcoming with hello or how are you when you walk in . Bad service bed customer service bad pricing everything bed don’t go there

So glad I finally decided to come here. My dog Zoey hadn't been groomed in a quite a while and was looking pretty shabby. She is also dealing with cancer. As soon as I brought her in, the staff immediately began showing her the love and care she needed. They asked some questions about her grooming and took her away. I received a phone call that Zoey would be ready to pick up in a half hour. I can't tell you how happy I was when picking her up. She looked great, smelled even better. The groom that they did on her was absolutely perfect and I could tell that they have her the extra care she needed. Will definitely recommend.

Decent prices, the workers were nice, really helped me on what’s best for my dog, didn’t know what would have been best for him since he had mats, uneven hair and helped with picking the best shampoo for his skin. Only down part was I felt a little rushed for my first time being there. But my dog smells great!
