I am writing a complaint as I experienced a horrible check out experience at publix on 3/3/24 at the Publix on 22973 FL-7, Boca Raton, FL 33428. I shop here regularly at this Publix and I spend hundreds of dollars here to get groceries so as I am writing on what happened to me last night as I just can’t get this out of my head and I am extremely disappointed with this Publix and their lack of customer service . It all started when a cashier who name is Melissa did not acknowledge me at all as I came in her check out lane ,I said “hello” to her and she didn’t say anything to me. I was very shock and felt very uncomfortable as I continue to put my groceries on the belt to be scanned . I don’t know why I was treated bad because Melissa was talking to everyone else but me the customer. On top of that she had a bagger helping her in the beginning but the moment I continue to put all my items on the belt to be scanned I noticed the bagger left and went to open up another cash register to help other customers. Me being a nice person I am now helping Melissa help bag my own groceries as I put them in the bag and I am putting it in my cart. Not only am I mad and furious about what’s going on but it’s the fact that Melissa is giving off angry energy as she aggressively bags my groceries and places it hard on the counter. You would think a manager or other baggers would help as they see me a customer bagging my own groceries right? Well you thought wrong because no one came to help instead everyone is just watching me bag my own groceries while Melissa continues to not say nothing and bag my groceries once again aggressively with a mad face . Finally, when all my items where scanned and I paid , Melissa said something to me very tediously as she handed me my receipt but surprisingly she was talking to the person behind me. Now as I walk to my car in this rainy weather I call Publix and asked to speak with a manager because I couldn’t bother to stay in the store any longer after that happened to me so I decided to call. I then spoke with “Justin” who he told me is a grocery manager and I explained everything to him and he apologized to me on what happened but told me Melissa manager is “Chrissy “ and how she will be in the store tomorrow morning.I explained to him that I hope someone gets back to me on this complaint because it’s not right and no customer should every feel this way,I told him I don’t care if someone is having a bad day you are supposed to put on a smile and have great customer service and it’s unfortunate someone like me had to experience this at my regular Publix because now I don’t even want to come back to this location after what happened because I feel like it will happen again . To add on to this,I know many places are short staff and I myself have work in customer service before and this experience does not meet the criteria of customer service at all.

Clean, well-stocked Publix location. Meat and Dairy here are always reasonably far from expiry, and produce is fresh. It is on the pricier side (to be expected with this brand), but they have deals often enough. Staff are friendly too.

I've asked the manager at Publix 3 times to ensure they have challah available on Fridays, but unfortunately, my requests have been ignored. It's frustrating not to find what you need for important dinners. Really disappointing service.

I am 35 weeks pregnant. Almost 9 months. I go with back pain, barely being able to walk I do my entire groceries only to realize at the register that my WIC card had fallen from my pocket. I'm told to ask at customer service. They inform me THAT MY WIC CARD HAD BEEN SHREDDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you SERIOUS?!?!!!! A CARD THAT REQUIRES A PIN!!!!!!! I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN buy at this Publix. They clearly have no consideration for the needs of someone USING GOVERNMENT HELP FOR THEIR FOOD. I feel so disrespected.

If you've been to a Publix supermarket before you'll know what to expect from this location. Although a bit more dated than other newer nearby Publix markets this location is well maintained and self checkout has been recently added.Prices were on the upswing before the effects of COVID on prices. More the result of decreased competition with disappearance of Winn-Dixie and other longtime competitors. Their BOGO specials aren’t quite what they seem. The Buy One prices are usually artificially inflated to make the Get One free offer considerably more attractive than it actually is.On the plus side store employees are plentiful and helpful.

It's a ghetto. Also, worst produce of any Publix I've ever been to. Buy a bag of potatoes & they're growing eyes 5 days later. A bag of onions, half of the are mushy in a week. Waste of time & money.

I was at this Publix location around 6pm today 10.4.23. I planned on buying deli meat. Headed over to the deli and the young man working behind the counter was cleaning the meat slicer. He saw I was waiting patiently and said he would be right with me. I told him I needed only turkey and the weight amount and I would be back shortly. When I came back he was helping others customers and had not filled my order. He again told me he would be right me. I told him not to bother. Today Publix was no pleasure.

I just want to shout out Joy from bakery! She did an amazing job with our wedding cake and cupcakes! They tasted soooo good! Everyone loved them! She also was incredible when she decorated the cake. Can’t thank her and recognize her enough. So happy about doing this!

Ordered wings at the deli over the phone at 4:15pm and they told me it would be ready at 5pm. Got here at 5 and had to wait in line 20min just for them to tell me that it will take another 20min for me to get the food that I ordered smh. Idk what goin on here but please don't order food from here. They are soooooo unprofessional and unorganized. I was told this by Erica

Whenever I’m on the hunt for quality meat and ground beef, Publix is my go-to. Their selection is always top-notch. If it’s a bit out of the way for you, Whole Foods is a great alternative. But there’s just something about Publix that keeps me coming back for more!

This Publix is unbelievable. The young man at the customer service counter literally asked me for my ID when I asked him to scan my scratch off’s. I’m almost 40, like really?! I mean thank you for the compliment, but I definitely look over 18. And this is not the first time this location has been rude. I’m beginning to think that location is pretty much racist. Definitely not a pleasure to shop at this location!

I walked up to the sub area in the Deli and I understand they must have been making online orders, but I stood there for about 5 minutes while they were talking amongst themselves and working but nobody even said I'll be With you in a minute or anything like that. So I left. Not the usual experience I have when shopping at publix stores.

Very nice and clean. The girl who helped me the other day was the cashier for register 2. It wasn't very busy when I was there. I was having a difficult time finding a few things and she saw me walking around back and forth. She asked me if I needed help finding something and I told her I couldn't find what I was looking for and the pharmacist told me which isle it was in and still couldn't find it. She had someone watch her register for her and walked with me to find the two items I was looking for. Typically, employees usually do not do this. She went out if her way just to help me. I would give this publix 10 stars if that was an option. Unfortunately, I didn't get the employee's name to give her a personal review. However, she was a sweetheart and I will definitely be coming back to this location. 😊❤

Managing my Mom's medications from afar couldn't be made easier than when dealing with the Publix Pharmacy at 22973 State Road 7 in Boca Raton, FL.The professionalism, kindness and patience is noteworthy and much appreciated. A very special callout to Phil for his going BEYOND to help Mom get a medication in a timely manner. THANK YOU!!
