Me and my fiancé go here every year and it just feels like home! The workers especially Andy do a fantastic job doing whatever they can to accommodate their guests! They work hard, the place is kept nice and clean and the amount of people that come through now just shows how good of a job they are doing! Thank you for giving us a place to call home every year! Hopefully we’ll see you all longer the next trip!

This is our 2nd year staying at this RV park. One of the things we love most is the “community” you have there. So many people that have been coming there for many years. Everyone is so friendly there and welcoming. We enjoyed several potluck, bbq dinners there as well and had a great time. Loved the water aerobics class each morning at 8am or 9am. I cannot say enough good things about the maintenance department and their dedication to keeping the park maintained. Those guys will gladly jump in to help anyone out at anytime. They lead you back to the site and guide you smoothly in and make sure you are comfortable, before they leave. . When you pull out, the sight is cleared of any leaves and raked neatly for the next person to arrive. We hope to return each year to reconnect with the community, making new and long lasting friendships.

This was our second year at Big Pine Key Resort, and there have been improvements made to the campground, which include much needed additional staffing and campsites that have enhanced our experience. The staff is stellar with their customer service and responsiveness, diplomacy and handling and managing hundreds of campers on a daily basis. the grounds are maintained by a fantastic and capable staff, including but not limited to Andy, Scott and Cameron! Front desk staff was most excellent, and I really enjoyed interacting with Savannah, Trish, Melissa and Colleen on a daily basis. They are top-notch! The programming for families and couples was excellent. I look forward to another visit soon! Kirsten and Dan from TNNearby activities: Boating, kayaking, fishing!

We really enjoyed our stay rustic camping, staff team was amazing very helpful made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived through our stay. A lot of long term campers retuning each year for many years all very friendly and welcoming. Bath house and pool were very clean and available, community fire pit and sink stations to wash dishes to make things so convenient! We would recommend this and will be back!

We could not have enjoyed our stay at Big Pine Key Resort more! We had a large group that made the trip from Nebraska for a Christmas getaway, so we had 3 RV sites in total. The resort and the staff far exceeded our expectations. The property and facilities were clean and well maintained. Our kids loved the heated pool. The location was perfect for the activities we had planned which included a couple of beach days at Bahia Honda State Park just a few minutes away. We can't wait to come back.

So many great family memories here at BPKFL. My wife’s grandparents stayed here for over 30 years. It was their second home. Hopefully someday they can bring back the lodge rooms — there wasn’t cleaner and better value lodging option in the entire Keys. And while prices have increased for camping/trailer spots, it’s still a good value for what you get. Incredible views and very friendly service. Cool second-story pool.

We LOVE Big Pine Key RV. The sites are exceptional and the help is over-the-top patient and professional. Andy in maintenance, is by far the most productive, helpful and sustaining member of this team, although there are others who shine as well. Thank you Andy for making our second home comfortable and a place we look forward to every year!

Really liked this campground. Sites were a bit tight but very helpful and friendly staff made up for it. Roads were bumpy for my wheelchair but I could still get around well enough. The key deer were VERY friendly, lots of birds too. Wifi was very good!Would certainly recommend

It's a lovely campground on a wonderful island but be aware that there are sites without the tiniest bit of shade. Those are brutal on sunny days.We payed 100$ per night for a tent so it's definitely very pricey. Actually by far the most expensive campground I have ever been to. There isnt really anything special to justify the price except the lack of alternatives in the region.

Spent 3 nights here. Sites are super tight. Your neighbors sewage hose is gonna be right in front of you when you walk out your door. We barely had enough room to park our vehicle on our site and our trailer is only 27 feet. Your rear area is also your neighbors rear area. When I say tight I mean tight. Many of the seasonal tenants are not very friendly and keep the place looking pretty scrappy. Not much to do in the park at all.

Yes, things have changed over the years, But it is still one of the best places to camp in the keys. And when you're here, give a Big shout out to Andy. He's one of the best friends you've ever met.

We loved camping at Big Pine Key RV Resort in Jan 24. Beautiful location right on the water at the North end of the island with beautiful views if both the Rt 1 and old Flagler railroad bridges. You can fish right from the bridge, kayak, or just enjoy the sunset and evening at the beach firepit. Many activities and happy hours, or just relax around the rooftop pool. The staff and maintenance crew were great. We will be back next year!!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! We spent 3 nights here in early November at a rustic, oceanside tent site. We were so happy there that we extended our stay an additional night and wish we could have stayed longer. The entire park was clean, quiet and felt safe, even on my pre-dawn walks to the shower facility. The conveniently located trash cans were emptied every morning. The bathroom/shower facility was clean and well stocked. The store had many items you might forget to bring, plus a nice selection of snacks and drinks. The key deer wandering through the park were very cool to see. The sunrise from our site was breathtaking! The nightly community fire pit was fun and we made a few new friends there.Every employee we interacted with was friendly. Roxy and Nicole in the check in/store area were extremely kind and helpful. James offered us a lift back to our campsite (we happily accepted) from the bathroom late one evening and it was much appreciated. Kelly, who we encountered while watching manatees in the canal, told us about a nearby nature park where we might see more.We loved our stay and are already planning next year's trip to the Keys. We'll definitely spend our week at Big Pine Key Resort again!

Throughly enjoyed our stay here! The staff is one the best crews I have had the pleasure to meet. Always greeted with a warm welcome and very helpful. The Maintenance guys keep the place looking good and are always working! If I needed anything they were right there to help! Special thanks to Melissa, Bryan, Andy and the rest of the gang! I look forward to returning!

Camped in “rustic” no FHU for a month January 2024. Park is cleaner with new amenities. Bocce court was great. New landscaping picnic tables and grills are much appreciated. Our spot 266 was perfect for our 34 ft trailer. Spacious. We generated plenty of solar and the dump station was close for our gray water and adding fresh water. The only problem is the internet doesn’t reach this area. I could connect occasionally early in January, but with more campers it never worked the last 3 weeks. I have managed with my Verizon hotspot and Weeboost so we can stream our Netflix and Max. It would be a reasonable price with full internet. Staff is great. Activities were fun: bingo, cookouts and sitting around the campfire. We enjoy the birds on the tidal pool near our site. The key deer are less present since dogs are allowed, but that’s ok. Bike to No Name Pub late afternoon and you’ll see plenty. Great camping experience.

Super friendly staff. Welcoming and helpful. Campsites are narrow. Very narrow. Andy was especially helpful relocating us when our site’s electrical did not work. WiFi connection for us was very limited. Bathrooms were always clean! Hand sanitizer always available. Coffee always hot & fresh throughout each morning. The pool was heated and peaceful. The store is nicely stocked. Thank you for a nice stay.

The place is really nice. Well-maintained. The owners are a little intense. Not what you would call “Friendly”. Other guests said there was a change in ownership recently.Rooms: Stayed in one of the Airstream rentals. Very clean. Shower was as expected- pretty tight, and I’m not a big guy. The AC was cranking! Needed a blanket.

Stayed a month at this RV resort. Pool was closed a week for repairs. Other than that the pool was always clean. Maintenance guy, Andrew, is a gem and most valuable worker at the resort. Some campsites and the roads in the resort need re-grading. Water would stand for awhile after it rained making it difficult to walk to your campsite and some campsites were under water for a couple of days. You would need boots to get to your camper.Safety: Monroe police came several times (at least 4 times during our visit) to one of the campers near the exit. There was also a domestic fight occurred around 5 AM one morning. Too much commotion for a resort. Management should have asked the campers to leave after the second visit from the police. By the way, three cops showed up at one time to deal with a teen age boy. We didn't feel safe being so close to them. Our friends felt unsafe as well and decided to leave early.Walkability: Roads were hard to walk dogs due to rock and sand. Also, clay was muddy after a rain and water would pool in uneven ruts in the road.Food & drinks: The bar by the pool was closed during our visit. We did enjoy a BBQ catered dinner during our visit.

We stayed in the rustic section of the campground. But we were on a dock with fresh water available ft away . We lived in our motorcycle trailer during bad weather, And in a tent during the good . We had plenty of room , the showers were very clean, We really enjoyed the rooftop pool , Our favorite place to hang out when it got hot . If you love animals don't be surprised if you get company for breakfast or dinner as this is a key deer sanctuary. The staff was wonderful, The store was great, However a grocery store is only a mile or 2 away. We had the best experience of our lives here , Being able to ride to Key West every day . And renting boats to explore the keys . Thanks for a great experience. Hopefully we will be back again soon
