The staff in the store were great. Everything was really good, until we got to the lady loading up the bags of topsoil. She had the worst attitude, complained to my disabled husband that it was taking me too long to put other items I purchased inside into my car so I could back the car up to where she was. I felt extremely rushed and like I was inconveniencing her because I purchased something that resulted in her having to work. I helped her load the bags of soil in the car just so I could leave and be done with her. Ace hardware is not always the cheapest and they don't always have a large selection, but one of the benefits to shopping there is the quality of service and the assistance you get when loading up the car with heavy or bulky items. Today, I was disappointed.

I went in the store to get an end for my garden hose. John immediately came to me asking if there was anything he could do. I told him what I was looking for and he took me right to the section I needed to be. I grabbed the cheapest part that I needed and John advised me about the heat that’s coming and how the sun would affect the plastic piece I was looking at. He then showed me the brass fitting and explained in detail how that fitting would be better as I could re use it if my hose splits again. So I went with the brass fitting. As I got to the register Jaime was very polite and welcoming. We chatted a bit as she rung me out and had the best personality. If I could give ten stars I would definitely do that. You guys have a great team there. Will definitely be back.

All Aces in Beverly Hills! Nowhere is the Ace Hardware motto more on display than at Carter's Ace Hardware. Truly helpful hardware folks covering a MULTITUDE of quality products and services. Joe is a PRO at everything he does (and he does a lot!) CC so helpful & pleasant at the register. Kelly's always smiling and leaning in to help. Curtis brings a wealth of knowledge to every project and question. From Stihl tools to PVC projects to electrical puzzles to new key fobs to refilling propane (cheaper than any swaps in town), Carter's is TERRIFIC!

Shopping at ace hardware has always been excellent. The store is always clean and thing's are always easy to find. The employees are very helpful and nice. Miss Kelly always helps you with a smile no matter how busy she is. She's definitely a star employee. The store definitely needs more employees like miss Kelly

Came in looking for an unusual drain cover screw. Kelly and Curtis went on the search and spent a lot of time finding the solution for me. This is why I go here first before Lowes or Home Depot. The staff here can’t do enough for you.

Good morningBecause I purchased a power extension cord during hurricane season I was unable to return the item. I explained that the gauge was to light but it made no difference. I can understand that the two bags of sand would be no refund but the extension cord was untouched and in perfect condition. Needless to say I will NOT step foot in the Beverly Hills ACE hardware. You lost a loyal customer

First, I have always supported the local Ace no matter where I've lived and have supported this store sense moving there in 2015. A few months ago I went in and purchased a Stihl chainsaw, as others have mentioned Steve was very helpful. I took it home and used it right away. Months later I got it back out to use it again, ran fine until I accidentally hit the safety bar which I had forgotten about. Took it back to the store, told Steve I couldn't get it to start, he belittled me in front of everyone in the store about the safety bar and said he should charge me. This is not the type service I expect from Ace Hardware. He maybe should find another line of work if he doesn't have the patience to deal with people. I will not return to this store. Swim at your own risk with this store. I could have gone to Home Depot and got better service. Which is what I will do next time and get a better price.

Wish I could rate ZERO stars. Came in here because I usually go to Ace before any large department/hardware stores since they are locally owned, was looking for a thin, wire based drain snake but only found a large thick plastic one and some agitators used for machines that I don’t have. Proceeded to leave knowing I needed to make another stop to somewhere that might have them and knowing the store was closing soon to get out of their way and I was FOLLOWED to my car by an employee who then wrote down my license plate number and caused a scene blaming me for stealing. Will not be shopping here again even though I like to keep my business local, such a shame to have such a negative experience for no reason whatsoever. I’ll make sure my friends and family know to stay far away from this business as well.

In 7 years of shopping at Ace Hardware in Beverly Hills FL. I would have to rate 5 Stars for all the many times I've shopped there. Curtis even came to my home twice on his own time to help with a patio I put in. In the store always detailed help with picking out tools, nails, insecticides etc from every employee . Today Cassie even helped with my cell phone ( I have a problem with modern technology. I'm sure others can relate) she was soooo very helpful with choosing a wireless door bell, assisting me with my coupons (that are always accepted there no matter what the date) At the register Shellie also even helping me pick out socks for my feet that was at the register. Lol.. This neighborhood Ace is not only the place for hardware it is also for personal home projects advice and help and a place to make friends. If you are new here and need anything call Ace first and see if they have it before driving all the way to Lowes or Home Depot. Even on the phone (they quickly answer) is friendly service that can't be best.. I'm happy to say Ace is MY place for friendly service..Love my ACE

Got the farm boss MS271 chainsaw from your store. Just want you to know Steve was very knowledgeable about the saw and showed me the operation of it which was very helpful. This was about a month ago. Today I had a problem getting it to start after it ran out of fuel. So I called Steve and he walked me through it over the phone and I got it started again..Steve made the sale when I bought it about a month ago and followed through with great customer service today.. by the way I happen to live about 70 miles away from your store my Ace store in Trenton Florida did not have it in stock.worth the trip...

Ever since Ace opened, about 2 mile from home, I have been using them instead of Home Depot which is 10 miles from home. So far anything that I have needed "in a crisis" they have had. The people are always very helpful . Today Steve went out of his way to help me. It was only a 3 dollar item, but he did the walk with me 3 times to get it right. Thanks guys for great service in a world full of people who don't give a damn.

Staff was great, I brought a load of landscaping Materials and was unloaded with ease. When I called, the young lady who answered was very pleasant to speak with and was very helpful. Definitely a little tight to maneuver my rig, but I will gladly accept another load going there.

This store is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!! If the people here are so unhappy with their job! go somewhere else!I asked for an air filter, that was on the top shelf, the kid working there today, told me NO! that I would have to get one off the bottom shelf, because he flat out told me he didn't feel like getting on a ladder! Then the old hag, I believe Shane was her name didn't greet me at all and just yelled next! Then just threw the receipt at me. Was more interested in taking a personal phone call on her cell, than the customers. I will be notifying corporate about this store, even though it is a franchise, they still have to maintain a corporate image.

I was having a problem with my push lawn mower. I went in and spoke with associate David and he was wonderful! He's very knowledgeable and knew what I needed. I even brought in my carburetor in and he spent time with me to help me clean it up! Wonderful service; I've never had a bad experience here!

I shop at this store fairly frequently. I like that they have a good selection of plumbing, electrcal, and hardware. The staff is always friendly and helpful and they know where things i ask for are located. Someone is doing a good hiring job. Their propane is also reasonably priced. All in all it is just an all around good place to take my business

People are very nice at the store never had any issues they can make keys for older vehicles in your vehicles and they have some stuff that other places don't carry that you need for your car as well

I visited your Ace store for the first time last week. There was a young girl at the paint counter. I asked her about a product she told me it was on aisle 12. I could not find the product so I went back the the paint counter. She looked at me and sighed she made me feel like I annoyed her. So I left the store. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. I went back on Saturday with the intentions of buying a traegar grill. The same girl was at the paint counter so I approached her her badge said Brianna. I informed her that I wanted to look at some grills. She called for help. A young kid came over he proceeded to tell me that he would have to get someone else to help. I waited about ten minutes and went back to the paint counter. The same girl looked at me like I was getting on her nerves. I left the store and went and bought a grill somewhere else. I will not be returning to this ACE Hardware store.

This is my go to place when I need advice on household tasks.One recent problem I had was not knowing how to replace or fix an electrical cord on a ceramic American Bald Eagle nightlight. I noticed that the cord on this newly purchased lamp had a gap that rendered it useless as a lamp.I cut the cord and took it to this hardware store hoping for a solution. The Assistant Manager, Curtis took the time to explain how to splice the old cord onto a new one. Not only did he explain, he patiently showed me how to mesh the new cord with the old one. I left the statue part at home but quickly realized that the cord should go through the back of the lamp in a pre designed opening.Curtis had the cords together and I asked if I could go home to bring in the lamp. I brought the lamp back to him and within minutes, I had a working lamp.Curtis went above and beyond to help me and showed me exactly how to splice 2 cords together to make one. He eased my mind, taught me, and kept his sense of humor while he worked his magic.Thank you, Curtis for a job extremely well done with poise and consideration for me, the girl who wanted to learn something useful.

First bad experience, but embarrasing enough I will not return.I had a sudden gastrointestinal issue. I asked for the restroom and was told no, due to the 'pandemic'. The overhead loudspeaker was bragging how the ENTIRE store is disinfected daily, yet they cannot extend the courtesy of a restroom to a customer expressing his need. I left my purchases in the cart and fled to avoid having an accident in public.I am sure that they felt justified in refusing the courtesy, but am equally sure they wouldnt put up with this in their case either.They have lost me as a customer even though I live 3 miles away.

I really wish I could have given this a goose egg score. I usually go to this store several times a month, but lately with the kids running this store it is awful. The customer service is zero. I was in there on Thursday 1/19/17 to pick up the LED bulbs that were on sale. There was 3 kids in paint, 2 girl and a boy. And a girl at the register. I asked which was brighter daylight or soft white. The girl at the register asked the boy on their headset my question. Mind you we were only about 4 ft away. I got a ridiculous answer and was told it was my preference. At that point another customer answered my question. I then asked for gutter guards, the response was down that isle. I found them on my own , still no customer service. Frustrated I checked out. It was then the cashier said in the lighting isle there was a display so I could see the difference. I just looked at her. Now ,no one could have said that earlier. Next time I'll drive to one of the big box stores.

They rarely have what is needed. If you need paint, go somewhere else - if you need stain, DEFINTELY go somewhere else. Supplies and colors are always extremely limited. Need keys? Go somewhere else. I've been there three times now, and the (not fancy) standard housekeys I had them make for me don't work. I had to fight to get my $$ back. Lowes had no problem duplicating them and they work. The cashier was rude, the people that work there are clueless. I keep trying this place, hoping somehow that just ONCE they will actually have what I need and that it works. Why? Only 2 miles away. Guess I should just save my time and go right to Lowes or Home Depot -and their prices are outrageous besides. Don't even TRY to use the $10 off purchase coupon. They will find an excuse not to let you use it. Finally tossed it in the garbage.

I walked up to the store this morning at 7:30 (the time it says it is open) a guy moving bbq's turned and stopped me at the door. "The.money isnt in the drawer, ill let you in when she is ready". I then said its 7:30, which prompted him to say "well we are running late". This is not how you great customers. You should of informed me of the cashiers tardiness...then let me in to pick out what i needed. I would have waited for the register. instead I walked away never to shop there again. I live right down the street and would rather drive to lowes then be greated by the gentleman who acted like I needed to stay out of the bank until the vault was closed. Need more customer service training.

First of all, the place is well stocked and well cared for. It's well lit and clean. Staff is polite and helpful.That said, I left without buying what brought me to the store. They had it but it was absurdly overpriced. That not unique to this ACE. It's endemic of all ACE Hardware Stores. ACE prices have little relationship to value.It's wasteful to overpay. It also encourages people to charge more than something is worth without consequences - like going elsewhere.With so many stores across the country, I would expect ACE to be able to offer more competitive prices. They don't. Everything is higher priced. Everything!Unless it's on sale, it's hard to find anything that isn't double the price found elsewhere - or more.On sale, I found a Rubbermaid Brute 32 gallon trash can for $19.99. That was better than elsewhere but is was not the normal price. A small phone cord for connecting phone to wall outlet that you can get at a dollar store or for $1.00 at any big box for $1.89 is $4.95 to 6.95 at ACE.If that's the kind of profit they need to pay the bills and stay in business, then they need a leaner, more efficient business model. Then agains, with those huge tax refunds, thanks to Trump, maybe I should spend all that money at an overpriced ACE.

Only one star because there isn't a negetive. Today was the last time I will ever set foot in this store. I went to buy a 300.00 stihl chain saw and when I asked about it the guy that came to help was the rudest person I have met. I have had to deal with him before and it's the same. He always acts like your an inconvenience to him. Because of this person I will not be recommending this store anymore and as a business owner I talk to alot of people.

I was total shocked. Some people are friendly, others not. I needed a key cut, well the know it all cut the key wrong. When I went back, he refused to recut the key. I wont be bringing my business back there again. Home Depot and Lowes are about 15 mins away.
