This amazing shop is filled with the most beautiful exotic pets. All the animals are well taken care of. The owners are extremely knowledgeable in how properly to keep every pet safe and healthy. Any and all questions concerning your pet will be gladly answered. The shop is always kept clean by the gracious employees. Always a pleasure visiting this place of business.

I wish I could say good things about this pet store. I really do. However, the attitude of the owners and the overall care of the animals at this establishment make it impossible to do so. My friend and I came to Pipsqueeks Pets about 30-45 minutes to close. It was nearly empty of customers, and one of the owners (a man and a woman both own this store) greeted us cheerfully enough as we walked in. We took a look around as the store tends to have exotics that are difficult to find elsewhere, and immediately noticed that the care of the animals was lacking and might even be considered neglectful; the overcrowded guinea pig enclosure had no water whatsoever, and many of the pigs were still trying to drink from the bone-dry water bottle. The rabbits’ enclosure was filled with flies, and the rabbit food was absolutely covered in the flies. The rabbits had nowhere to hide at all, so they were sitting in the litter box (the only thing in the cage besides the food and water). The reptile cages reeked of ammonia and many of the water dishes were 1) dirty and 2) nearly empty. There were literal piles of dead fish in the freshwater tanks, and two of the puffer fish had clearly been fighting and were laying on the gravel gasping. We flagged down an employee there and pointed out all the dead fish and the fact that the guinea pigs had no water. Apparently, it’s not the store’s fault that they had dead and dying fish in their tanks. All of the dead fish were the result of shipping and “rescues”. Now, we’re understanding people. However, when an animal is in your care it is your responsibility to care for it! If there are animals that are clearly unhealthy when they arrive to the store, they should not be sold in that condition. That being said, I do not believe this is the case. I have also been here the previous week and their animals were in the same deplorable conditions. Also- as stated before, the store was nearly empty when we arrived. That means there was definitely downtime for the employees and owners to take care of the animals they are selling! My friend and I actually walked out the door because we were so angry, and then we marched right back in to speak to the owners. They were busy with (what appeared to be) the only other customer in the store, so we walked around and I took pictures as proof. Once the customer was gone we approached the owners and told them we were worried about the care of the animals. They immediately became hostile told me to take it up with FWC. But I wanted to show them why I was concerned, so I told them that reptile water dishes were almost empty as an example and one of them said, “ALMOST empty?” There was barely a centimeter of water in many of the dishes, and that is the response I get from the owners. “It’s almost seven o’clock, of course they’ll be empty. We fill them up twice a day.” Now, here’s something I don’t get- those water dishes are fairly decent sizes, and there is no way the water would be that low if they were truly filled up twice a day, as claimed by the owners of the store. I told them that the time of the day is not an excuse for their animals barely having any water. I pointed out some of the other instances of neglect, and the female owner of the store pushed me towards the door and yelled at me (because now they were yelling and cursing as well) to get out of their store and that I was permanently banned. I smiled at her and pointed out the physical assault that had just occurred and told her I’d gladly never come back to their establishment. The male owner immediately yelled at the female owner to get her hands off of me and they kept yelling as we were leaving. My friend and I were understandably upset as well by this aggressive response to our concern. The male owner escorted us to the door and yelled at us to “get a f***ing life”. He also mentioned that he was going to write down my license plate number, which I don’t understand as we were not breaking any laws. They, however, are a completely different story.

As soon as you open the door the smell assaults you. Not clean and very unpleasant. Only positive one young lady working there was quite nice.

Met the owner older lady she is so rude. I've seen dead fish every time I've been here I've seen dead snakes once and Jesus the smell now compared to a couple of months ago when I started coming is horrible. We will definitely not be coming back again.

A nice selection of reptiles and they are Glad to answer any questions about any of there Pet's. But for a local Pet store it is on the pricey side, The pet's are reasonable priced but the supplies for the pet's like, food,fish tanks, Cage's and supplies for the tanks and Cage's are well over priced. In all you have to choose if you want knowledge of your pets and you do want to be sure your getting the right supplies for the right pet's, then pay the extra money and go see them. I buy some of my supplies from them simply because it's convenient for me living close.

Right when I walked into this place I knew it wasn't a good environment for animals. One the smell was horrible. Two some of the Betta fish and the water was green not clean water. They had wild squirrels that shouldn't be in cages they should be out in the wild. The employees were very friendly and easy to talk to and very helpful. But animals need to be with people who know how to take care of animals properly. Conditions were horrible for all the animals in there. I felt so bad for these animals. And I was very upset how all these animals were leaving. I don't think anyoneshould be purchasing here. All these animals need to be release. And with people who actually have a loving heart for animals. I felt like all the prices were outrageous and need to be readjusted.

This place was awesome! Very clean inside and everything was very organized including the pets! We had been searching for degus all over and they have adult, juvenile, and babies! We ended up purchasing 2 babies and and adult male! The woman KC was very kind and even though she was very busy she took all of her time and attention on helping us choose and bringing them down from upstairs so we could touch everyone one. The other employee was also very cool and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed! I sincerely apologize I can’t remember the other name and lost the card but both people were amazing and we can’t wait to come back! We drove two hours and did not regret it! We love our three new additions! Thanks guys!

Bought several koi from them over past couple weeks, and we lost one after two days, fish wasn’t acting right from the time i put it in pond and was monitoring it. I went back and asked about an exchange and they then told me there was no guarantee on fish. Anything can happen. Please tell me that when i make the purchase! You could have done the right thing after I spent over $100 on ornamental fish. Most pet stores will test the water and gladly exchange a lost fish within a certain time period. Especially two days.*Added because of store’s reply.Nowhere on my receipt does it state this. Also, you should mention that to your customers if that’s the case. Even if it’s only a ten dollar fish. i purchased over 100 dollars worth on more than one trip, and this was a $20 dollar koi. Receipt pictured, purchased 3 fish on this trip. only receipt that i was given.

I’ve never been in this store and not seen dead animals, especially the fish, neglected and sick rats and animals getting tossed around. A woman asked the difference between colored and regular sugar gliders and the worker took the bag of sleeping baby sugar gliders and roughly dumped them all out into another tiny box, clearly scaring the hell out of them. The poor green tree python they had by the front door during the cold months and his temperature was dangerously low, he also had stuck shed all over his body. I personally have been here many times, I’ve never left feeling okay. It’s heartbreaking to see how neglected some of those animals are and not want to rescue them from that life, but I urge you guys not to use your money at this “pet store.” My friend bought baby rats and they had life threatening mites. My sister bought a completely traumatized ferret that couldn’t be picked up because she was so scared of people, eventually we got her through it. This woman runs a sham of a business, if for no other reason, if you not spending your money here isn’t justified by the treatment of their animals… save yourself the experience of living through the smell in this place.

I just want to say I stopped in today and last week what an amazing job kat and kc are doing for this business they have recently taken over working here and transforming the shop the old workers who never cared about customers are now gone. I walked around taking my time to get what I needed and watching how hard these two are working so hard to make it a great shop. So much work and they are working working working to make it better. People are bringing in animals and they rescue them take the time to do that wait on people keep the place clean it's a huge job they definitely deserve someone to take the time and say hey job well done. I am thankful that I can shop for my pets in my home town. Please anyone that would complain needs to rethink about that. Kat and KC are fantastic and are totally transforming this place. Thank you for your hard work. I hope the owners realize how valuable you are to the company. Y'all are fantastic!!!

TOP NOTCH!!!! THE BEST!!!! I took my kiddos in to get fish after seeing minows at the springs so we had to have fish. My special needs child had a break down because of the birds, unknown trigger to me. The guy helping us could not have e been better. I don't know his name but he was amazing.......we got out with fish and a calmed down kiddo. The lady behind d the counter even gave them snack pack of gummies and we got to feed the squirrels.

I have come here over many years and bought multiple pets, and for the most part have had only a few problems (like a pleco dying quickly). They have recently changed management and policies, and the place is so much nicer now, figuratively and literally. Casey seems to have hand raised and the small animals there, so they are sweet and easy to handle. And Cat, the manager, with the awesome face piercings, he was super helpful and we did leave with our hedgehog. And i went back for my skinny pig! Thank you guys! M

Unreliable, never has any rats for our two snakes. Always out of the rats we need to feed them. Staff's a little out there, but good. They are pretty knowledgeable too, have to give them that.

First time here today, definitely enjoyed the squirrels by the door eating peanuts lol. Had fun seeing all the animals, picked up a couple of little things. Yes, it doesnt smell pleasant, but with that many animals....i get it. The 2 staff members were great, had a conversation with both of them. Will definitely be returning in the near future :)

I feel so bad for the animals there it's smelled so bad it's unbearable the animal waters were dirty SMH, the betta-fishes water were green and it was even dead fishes in the small tanks SMH the frogs and other small critters were in tiny boxes a frog should be able to hop around not be stuck in a box. It was roaches, SMH I feel so bad for these animals. The only plus was the employees were very friendly and welcoming.

Upon entering it smelled like peeeee….n that’s to say it lightly. Many fish tanks n live critters and each n every one of them I feel badly for. I don’t even know where to start and the owner needs to be fined n possibly shut down. It’s a live zoo…..rats n mice scurrying across the isles, I don’t know if they’re residents or just escapees. I parakeet was flying around assuming he was thinking damn….I’m free only to be clenched n crushed by the whatever a kind of employee captured the poor thing only to hear him screaming that the bird was biting him….probably cause it was it’s only chance of freedom. He threw it literally into the cage. A little turtle was floating dead for apparently a few days cause his little leg was holding onto the fungus/ algae on the side of the tank….only to tell the employee n he basically laughed n said…it happens all the time that’s life only to toss the little corpse into the garbage. Then came the squirrels that they were so called rescued….🤔🤔🤔🤔 more like they needed rescuing from the hell hole they are in. Sorry this place is dirty disgusting and smells along with their very scary n non pet loving employees….torturing all of the animals especially the fish tanked animals…..wipe the algae n gunk maybe you can see a fish…..ewwww ewww…..the poor ferrets in the front….ewwwww….shut this stink hole down n yes I’m reporting the.
