I was just in the store picking up an order for Door Dash customer. The guy cashing me out want my ID and gave me attitude. Complaining he needs this job because he has kids to support and he not loosing his job for anyone. He was very rude. I am 57 years old and I have grey hair and my mustache is all gray. When you look at me you can tell I am a lot older than 21. Your not the only one supporting.someone. maybe management should train there employees how to talk to customers. I've worked in retail my whole life.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, shame on both of us. To think people will lie to your face because they don’t want to admit “I made a mistake”. I’ve ordered pictures on line several times from this Walgreens and all three times I wait the allotted time and give them extra time to pick them up, and yet they tell me the same thing - “they just came in…” like really, I submitted my pictures over an hr ago and “they just came in”. Yet they don’t know that I have family that works for Walgreens and friends and they tell me once you submit your pictures online it take about a minute for them to receive it on their end. All they have to do is push a button and the pictures will print. Yet you have a grown man who said “they just came in” - lied to my face. And I told him, they were suppose to be printed over an hour ago. He said, “like I said they just came in and I pressed the button” Rob, at the Bartow store, NO! You just pressed the button. They did not just come in, everybody was doing other things and not paying attention. So now I have to wait an extra 30 mins on top of the 1hr 1/2 I waited for them in the first place. I’m so disappointed at the customer service in the store. The pharmacy is good, the rest of the store - service has really gone down much! Not “I’m sorry” from Rob. I hate complaining but this is legitimate. Went to buy a bag of ice at the Alcohol side of the store the young man - might of been stoned, but no hi, thank you, have a good evening, like he was ice cold. The young girl who cashed out my pictures, not even a thank you, come back and see us again. I hope these youngsters aren’t getting paid 15$ an hr. Because they are give 2.00 an hr customer service. If it wasn’t for CVS closing down I wouldn’t be going to Walgreens. I told my family that works for them, “what’s up with that?” They apologized and told me to reach out to customer service. I told them “I don’t think it really would make a difference”. Bartow you guys are better than that! Time to get new people!! Ones who don’t lie!!

This review is more about the customer service shown to me by a pharmacy tech or pharmacist.I had a prescription not covered by insurance which would be almost $300. I was so happy and surprised when Alayna found a price just over $60! She cared enough to take the time to help.

My complaint is on the "so- called manager" last night on January 23, 2024 that told my son he don't think he could upload his money on his PayPal card for him and afterward told my son he would have to bring his ID. to him to upload that much money. Question????!!!!!! My son only had $500.00. I know Wal-Greens in Polk County, Florida is allowed to add the maximum of $500.00 onto your PayPal card. Is that a new Wal-Green policy/rule to be prejudice to customers who are or look to be Black American and how they should not in what they call a mind should not have $500.00 to upload $500.00 on his PayPal? GUESS WHAT EVERYBODY? GO TO WALMART if your in Bartow, Florida and get your very own money, uploaded on your Paypal card, with asking to be Verified with your I.D.! Problem Solved. I CAN'T SAY THIS ENOUGH, THAT THEIR ARE "TO MANY WRONG PEOPLE IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS!!!!" My GOD!!! That's the state of Florida main problem for all of these job/career vacancies. Well, maybe the people in a higher Archy thinking this is the only solution and they could really care less either way. Because it's never been about The Well Being of Our People and Our Families in the First Place! 😆 Thank GOD I know a True Living GOD. Jehovah Jireh!!!! Hallelujah. Amen.

This WALGREENS IN BARTOW SUCKS!!! I have always used CVS in winter haven however because my insurance changed I had to use this pharmacy. The first time I called the options took forever to get through and when I finally got the pharmacy on the phone after ringing and ringing they LITERALLY picked up the phone and hung up on me!!! So I waited a few days and called back. Close to the same thing happened again. The Phone would ring and ring then picked up and I was immediately asked if I wouldn’t mind being placed on hold but wasn’t given time to respond just placed on hold anyways. Once picked up was told I needed a prior authorization to called my doctor and make them aware so I did. My doctor then notified me once done. I have since called them back to check status of medication and was told my husband wasn’t even in there system and was place on hold again then picked up and told the authorization was need from my insurance…..DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Used the Walgreens app to order same day prints... was notified that order was ready. Went to the Bartow location to pick up order to be told that the machine was broken but no one knew when it would be fixed. I received no notification about the delay. When I asked if they could send the order to another store for completion I was told no and both the team lead and associate were rude. Asked for the manager name and was told they were not sure of name and didn't know when he would be in. The associate stated that she was only a part-time employee and she didn't need the hassle. This is not the 1st time thatcustomer service has been lacking.... absolutely ridiculous!

One thing after another. With every prescription it’s out of stock, won’t be ready till tomorrow, insurance issues. These people clearly don’t know what they are doing. They need to get new management or something. Worst place ever. I will be transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

I sent 60 pictures to be printed in the photo department and, due to no fault of the employees, a part of the text on the right side was cut off. After getting home and noticing the issue I called up there and spoke with Trey. He was so wonderful and helpful. He was super apologetic and worked with me to find a solution. And, like I said, this was no one's fault, just a printing machine error. Once I sent him a new image with more border around it, he called me to let me know they looked good and then had them printed within 15 minutes for me because he knew I was in a crunch for them.I hope y'all give that man a raise, he deserves it! 😁

If I count give a zero stars I would they for the management the employees are very nice and helpful but the manager was rude very condescending will not be returning for photos

Always fabulous service at the pharmacy and throughout the store! They always go above and beyond when I need the help. Prime example a month ago I thought I had a sinus infection called my doctor who wanted me to test for Covid, I was so thankful the pharmacist had offered me the home tests Medicare was giving out for free as I tested positive then they mailed me my medications as I had no one to pick them up. They are always thinking about going that extra mile. Then I was in there last week and I take Uber because I don't drive and what happens my phone dies! I had dropped it twice recently and broken the screen and it started having problems but it was pouring outside and it was dead!! So did I have my charger? Of course not so I bought another one and the cashier called one of the managers who let me stand behind the photo center (she knew me from being a regular) until my ride was literally just a few minutes away as it was almost dark and she wanted to make sure I made it home safe. I had tears in my eyes. What an incredible group who make my day each and every time I enter the store no matter what kind of day I'm having.Thanks again for all your help I appreciate it more than you know.

The worst Pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Every time one of our Dr's has a rx sent to Walgreens they have issues dispersing them for all kinds of ridiculous reasons you wouldn't believe and it always takes days to straighten it out.

Pharmacy tech was very unprofessional. I was instructed to come back on Saturday and was told my prescription would be ready, when I came back the pharmacy tech was very rude and she was the one that instructed me to come back. Very argumentative and would not let me speak. The other pharmacy tech with glasses came over and kindly explained the situation.

Long wait for updated COVID vaccine.Scheduled for 12:15. Arrived at 12 as instructed to arrive fifteen minutes early. I pre filled out the consent form online before my appointment and still had to fill out the paper form.Didn’t get called up until 12:40Also they didn’t have me wait the 15 minutes for observation.During my wait an older couple came in requesting the updated booster. They were told they needed to schedule an appointment online. Just think it’s bad customer service to not ask first if they had internet access or knew how to navigate the website. I think they should’ve asked that first and then offer to help schedule them at least. Versus just telling them to schedule online.

Arrived 15 min early as required for my scheduled Moderna COVID booster and was told they were waiting on approval to thaw it out, it would be 45 min to an hour wait. They gave me all my prefilled out forms back and did not check me in. They took my cell phone number to call me when it was ready, but never called. After waiting in my car for 1 hour I went back to the pharmacy. Everyone with scheduled appts after mine were all ready gone or just getting ready to have their shots. The pharmacy said they called, but I didn't answer. (they had called my home phone number, not the number they wrote down and was also recorded on the form they gave back to me when I first tried to check ) They blamed all the dysfunction on corporate policies. I had to still fill out another short form and wait for them to finish the people in que before I finally was able to get mine.

Extremely disappointed in this Walgreen's store! At 7pm on a Friday evening only one cashier open, while one employee was down in the photo center, and another employee stood at a register "unable to use/cash people out" and proceeded to walk away fr the registers as the line of customers got longer. 3+ customers waiting in one line while the only employee cashed out a large purchase as she was a couponer. Chatting a little too much, and seemed like no hurries to get the line moving. I'm all for couponing, and excellent customer service. So the one employee at the register did better than the other 2 employees that we could visibily see, but her attitude and lack of care that us customers were becoming a little frustrated that nobody was doing the one thing they should ALWAYS be doing and that is taking care of the customers. Being in customer service all my working years (8+ years) I know how things work, what the business expects, how a customer should be treated and how to be understanding of struggles of the employees to do it all... but no matter what they should always be concerned with the well-being of their customers who shop there, and essentially give them a job to collect a check. No matter how frustrated one may get, showing the effort to give a customer 100% AND a smile...it goes such a long way especially when faced with difficulties that are completely out of the employees hands. Whatever was being done to the only other register should most definitely have been put off until later in the night, not at 7pm on a Friday night!!

Wonderful people! I know my story may not help with the store itself but it is filled with wonderful people. They helped me recover my phone. Many people couldn't careless and they helped me out and I cannot say thank you enough. Jeneane I appreciate your help, I hope to thank you personally if i ever end up visiting over there again.

I’m a regular customer and shop here often my fiancé went to do a return and had his receipt and the employee Rodney who was very rude and clearly a racist treated him very poorly raising his voice and being very rude and refusing to do the return when the policy stated you have 30 days to do the return and you will be refunded the way the item was purchased if this type of behavior is not corrected Walgreens is going to find themselves in a big law suit I called and spoke to Rodney and asked why he declined the refund he yelled and hung up in my face I will never shop here again if they allow there employee or manager to behave this was!!!

The store itself is great but the pharmacy is horrible! The techs and pharmacist think they care doctors and they are not! They are rude and disrespectful! Will not use there pharmacy ever again!
