Depending on the time of day and location I like to shop for specific things. My preference for locations is off hwy 92 near Ingram. Lakeland. Best stock and verity. Meat deals are in the morning besides the advertised deals. Nice produce. Good prices there in store brands for soda, chips, canned veggies pasta , pizza sauces are high quality. They surpass delmonte in quality control and flavor. Good frozen food deals . Over all about 1/2 price of Publix but limited verity. I don't care for the ground beef but the pork tenderloin is great.

I love my Save-A-Lot the girls are great to me I'm handicapped and they're always there to help me anyway I need and that place is very clean and I love it there I do most of all my shopping at Save-A-Lot

Dirty, dingy, they never have sale items in stock, and the staff are usually outside smoking or inside talking with each other, not engaging with their customers.

The store is clean and the staff is very friendly. The prices for canned and dry food are great considering the current economy. You can always find great deals in the meat department.

Went to shop at the store and realize I gotta pay for bags to put the groceries I just bought from the store in so I end up carrying all my groceries out in my hand and that's beyond deplorable for a supermarket. store also smells like it ain't been cleaned for days or weeks which is not sanitary for customer use. Won't ever shop there again.

I went on over to get the 40oz Bag of Chicken Breast and they were all Frosted over where I couldn't see the Chicken Meat. The Chicken Breast Patties look very small.I couldn't tell if they were made that way or if the Patties broke apart. They had Roma Tomatoes on sale. The Red ones was either over ripe or really soft. Couldn't find any good red Tomatoes that was firm.When Save-A-Lot had Pepsi six pack of 20oz Bottles on sale a couple weeks ago. They didn't Order enough and ran out. Their sale started on Wednesday and I went in on Friday afternoon only to find out that the Pepsi display was complete gone. A Good Display should be Full for the Whole 7 Days.

Prices were okay, store relatively clean. BUT when there was a line of 7 or 8 people wanting to check out, only one cashier working and it took forever for a second cashier to open I lost it when the cashiers jacket said it all. "I don't care". Not to mention she never smiled or greeted her customers. Very lacking in common courtesy.Should have left my purchase at the register. I will gladly pay a higher price elsewhere for friendlier service.

Clean store. Decent prices on store brand and name brand products. Very impressed with the helpful employees.A little work on pricing on shelves would be helpful. Some items had no price or wrong price and made things confusing.Not a fan of having to bring bags and bag my own groceries.

Today I decided to go buy a few things at Save A Lot. The peppers I needed were almost out and I need more. There was an unattended pallet on the floor that had what I needed. I got what I needed and proceeded to shop for more produce. A cashier came up to me and told me that I could not get anything from the pallet with out asking first. I explain to her that what I needed was out on the rack and that they had some on the pallet and no one was there for me to ask. She proceeded to tell me that I couldn’t get anything without asking her first. I put my items back and the manger on duty did nothing to address her behavior. Had a customer in the parking lot state that he will not be back to this store and apologized for her rudeness. I will not shop here again as clearly neither the Manager or employee care about customers and there experience.

Store was clean. There's -for the- most part only 1 register open. That occasion I bought grapes. They were kind of soft. Granddaughter ate a few. i could have taken back. It would've cost more to take back no store in gas.

Went to Save a Lot because I wanted to save a lot. Did not save a lot, but saw a lot... of roaches. Cashier ignored it. Pretty gross. Not going back.

Prices were great. Plenty of room to move cart around. They were not stocked on a couple of things i wanted, tomato paste and their $1.49 pork chops. There was not anyone around to ask if their was more in the back. I saved about $50.00 over going to Walmart or Winn Dixie.

They mark down meat that is going to go out of date the following day every morning. Can get a pork roast for $1.90.($0.89/lb). Its still good as long as u cook it within 2 days or freeze it right away. Great way to save a ton for large families. Fyi bring your own bags or boxes. Or you pay .03 a bag. However when i forget i just scan the aisles for empty boxes to use instead. Also the people stocking the shelf will give you empty boxes if u ask .

9/18/21: I dont know if the store is going out if business or perhaps they are going to remodel, but the sale steaks were old and and brown, the chip section was gone even though the chips were in the sake ad and with a buy 2 bags and get a free onion dip, bogo eggs were not there, 15 pks of Pepsi on sale not there, in fact it seemed like the soda section was also just gone. I have tried to shop for advertised sale items for 3 weeks now....and NOTHING but a waste of time. This is a TERRIBLE WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS!!!They hardly ever have the sale items. it could be a great store but they don't have the sales items so I have to shop elsewhere.6/10/21 UPDATED REVIEW: I got a special coupon sheet and saw that it claimed that there were new owners. I sent my son, who shops for me, for some of the sales items last Saturday, not only did they actually HAVE the sale items(that was a rarity in the past), but he came out with a free insulated bag full of free savalot items. This was above and beyond nice.A new sales ad came out tuesday and it advertised sirloin steak for 3.99lb....ok, I was SO surprised and appreciative that he was able to get 4 beautiful steaks and also very nice pork chops for 1.49lb.THANK YOU NEW OWNER. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.7/10/21 updated review: back to bad practice of not having sale items, especially the steaks and roasts!!This is not fair to the customers at all....Its been downhill since the grand reopening. SMH.

i went to this store after 8pm on 12/30/18. i noticed a section of thier freezer now working, all the food in that section was thawing out. i told the manager and she said she would check it right out. i was there about another 30 minutes and no one ever went to check on the freezer. we had stopped buying meats here because we had gotten some bad before... now we thinking twice about thier frozen stuff now.

I had never gone to this store, my husband is the one who shops here. I needed something I was looking for Thanksgiving and decided to go in, I was quite surprised that is was such an organized and clean store. It had so many items at really good prices here. I will be back to shop here.

More than once mouldy or expired food was accidentally picked up from the Bartow location on Van Fleet. Today we ended up with mouldy cheese that has an expiration date of 1/26/21. Tried calling the store to only receive the fax machine tone.
