The Bartow, Fl store is a big joke, The workers are lazy., smart mouth, attitude. If you have a broke register then fix it . But no let’s be selective on who we check out. This store is nasty .

I've been coming her for a few weeks here and I can say the black lady was ok but I can tell by the way she talks she messy and then she came telling me about a man that likes me that visits the store and start telling me about him and this guy follows me all the time so when I seen him I told this man to stay away from me and why is he telling people he likes me it all seemed creepy so I'm guessing he gets mad at her so now when me and my son comes in the store she watching us on camera and out of no where we're at the counter in front of the other managers ringing out now my son stole a lighter and I had just spent an $100 in the store why take a lighter and not call the police my son picked it up and read the joke on it and put it down, how your gonna take a lighter in front of a manager? She was mad I said something to the old man she was talking to about me this lady is beyond messy I would not shop here again and I never had this problem before you're mad I went off on a creep that your having a discussion about me and this man follows me home so he said something to you I'm guessing yall conversation was a secret and now the next time you see us you blame my son for taking a lighter he didn't have smh you need to be fired..

This store used to be our favorite store, everything was organized clean everyone was helpful until The manager Diane left. Now everything is a mess, the store is very unorganized dirty, they were closed one evening due to staffing issues. The store needs direction that Diane gave it. We are very upset that she has left and new management is not keeping the store the way she left it

Great people. Bartow Dollar General Carrie's almost any and everything you can think of but best thing you're going to like about this place is the realism and great customer service. The employees here are used to being up close and personal with customers because that is their upbringing. So you feel right at home because of the family feeling environment they provide.

This Dollar General was just another Dollar General. They had the item that I went to buy. The store was crowded, but it was Christmas eve. Along line at check out. But all the employees were doing everything they could, considering that they only have 2 cash registers anyway, to get us checked out. The isles had product in the way because they were trying to re-stock the shelves and run the cash registers. They needed more help in that store for real. But over all they were doing the best they could with what they had to work with.

Usually great customers services when I go here. But this cashier named Jewels is a rude person. She didn't greet me like she did the customer before who was of a different color. She didn't want to bag half of my items. I always go here a usually have a great experience but Jewels needs a class on customer service

While the staff is very friendly and helpful nothing against them at all. And this isn't their fault but I cant stand the tiny cluttered isles where there is never enough room for more then 1 shopping cart at a time to get through. And no matter what time I come in there there is always boxes upon boxes stacked up along the isle like they just got a truck. Like they are trying to things up.

Have a little bit of everything for lower prices than many other retailers, they have many name brand products, as well as generic so you have a choice. The woman at the counter was very pleasant and directed me to where I could find an item I needed but couldnt find while she scanned me remaining items in my cart, I didnt get her name but she saved me a trip to a different store to get that item.

I go there to get three specific things. I won't name them because I don't want anyone to get them all before I have a chance. LOL the people are always nice even when they are busy. They will take time to help you find what you need and they are knowledgeable of what they have in the store.

Love this DG!!! The manager is very friendly and helpful. The assistant manager has a great positive attitude. The clerk's are always smiling especially NeeNee....to be honest it doesn't hurt that these ladies are hot!!!

This is a nice store. The set up is easy to navigate and theres a good amount of room to maneuver through the isles. This store honors our military heroes every 2nd Wednesday of each month. Ask a store associate how that works. 1 of the friendliest places I've been to. Itll be a store I regularly visit.

We have a New $ General in Our neighborhood. I'm very, very Glad. I am an ex-Cashier/ Stock person of that Store when it was next to Publix in Bartow years ago. I love to shop there. Bargains & Prices are great. Very affordable! 👍

Under new management. Clean, organized. Didn't take me long to find what I needed. On Highway 98 in Bartow, Fla. Near Highway 60. Handicap parking and wheelchair accessible. Good prices as always at Dollar General store

Dollar General is a good place to shop when you don't want to wait in line at Walmart. They have an app where you can get digital coupons and save money. You can call first to see if they have what you need. You can also save an addtional $5 off your purchase of $25 which is good on Saturdays.

There an amazing place to buy everything you need from household, including foods, beverages, seasonal stuff or just munchies to enjoy movie night. And also little ovc to feel better if you got sick.

The store in Fort Meade is dangerous for customers and employees. Nothing gets done totes stacked so high down the aisles a customer is gonna get hurt. OSHA, The Health Department need to come the store would be shut down.

Only one register open most of the time. Stock seems to never be put up so your always having to walk around cars of products. But they have fair prices.

I use dollar general for all of my non food household items- cleaning supplies, paper towels, tissue, laundry etc. Best prices, even better if you use the dgcoupons app

The Dollar General Store is wonderful the Manager is amazing very helpful alone with the workers. The Store is always organized and clean and this is the one on Hwy 98 in Bartow.
