This is a very organized Winn-Dixie,I'm from Miami, and every time we go thur Avon park, I have to stop there. The customer service is great. The manager in the Deli I don't remember her name, but she was great with service. Also, the managers there have great customer service. I love this store, and keep up the good work!!

I've been going to this store for a long time now and today was one of the rare days of having great experience with an employee. Ozy, if I'm not mistaken was amazing. He was nice and we actually had a conversation unlike other employees. Most of the time the employees there aren't talkative and aren't the nicest but I was very happy with my experience with ozy.

Delicious. There is nothing better than watching the sunrise while eating ice cream from Winn-Dixie. Well, maybe a couple adult situations, but, even those involve ice cream. Keep Happy Simple and Be Kind.

This winn Dixie needs a serious manager change. Every time I ship here it's usually between 8 -10, and every time there is 1 cashier with a line5 to 10 customers long. And all the customers will get checked out without anybody to help reduce the time. Tonight 1 cashier 6 people in line and the cashier was even bagging his groceries by himself. 2 employees standing off to the side talking but no help. Where is a manager to open a new line or have some kind of help. It's almost worth driving to Sebring to avoid this store. At least between the hours of 8:00 to 10:00 pm. Maybe the managers leave early.

This Winn Dixie has the cleanest smelling meat department I have been in , in a very long time! You don't smell fish or bleach, just clean store! Staff is awesome and very helpful. Had two steaks cut for me and they were so kind and efficient. Thank you guys for having such amazing staff and store!!

Ya know why 5 stars? Because I had an awesome lady named Cleo as my cashier today and let me tell you- she’s the best!! She packed everything I bought the way that I would if I was bagging it. Pantry stuff with pantry stuff, fridge stuff with fridge stuff, etc. And she was great to talk to! I never thought in all my days that I would have a favorite cashier until Cleo came along.Plus I like shopping at Winn Dixie. It’s better than the big box store up the road. I can actually easily find everything I need without having to trek a mile and I am never in line very long at all.Love it!!

Literally walked the whole store up and down numerous times looking for an employee to help me find a product. Couldn’t find one. So at checkout I asked the lady if they even carried it since I walked every ale’s numerous of times and maybe just missed it. She’s like I’m just a cashier I have no idea. Then tells me to ask the cashier behind me and I’m like that’s ok (she was checking other people out) she proceeds to yell this cashiers name till she turns around and she’s like how can I help you and I explain the product to her and she’s says honey I’m just a cashier I like have no idea you’ll have to ask a stocker.. which I tried to find in the first place.. like no shot lady. This is the third time in this store since I moved here and every time has been a horrible experience. No one actually helps you and to be honest are rude. I’ve worked in hospitality and customer service for 20 years and honestly, the issue this store is having could be totally avoidable. They need to clean house.

The worst Winn-Dixie I've ever been to. Usually they're okay, but even these sale prices were so outrageous. You know they had to raise the prices to put them on sale and then you could tell they were selling hamburger that was supposed to be 80 80/20 and it couldn't have been that it had way too much fat in it. There's another Winn-Dixie right down the road. Go to the other one

Local supermarket are always great for quick shopping trips. I love the sales it has here but unfortunately the produce is not always the best quality. Grapes, tomatoes, apples, melons... will be a hit or miss. What makes it better to shop here is honestly the staff. They are warm and yet professional. I have been to this location when the power has gone off, or the register went down and they did everything to help. So I really appreciate the staff very much.

Winn Dixie is on the move up for improvement. Clean easy to shop. The deli had a female employee that might need a class on customer service. She totally avoided me while I waited at the counter. I finally left without my lunch meat.

This store is located in Avon Park. I've never had an issue here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They carry items I can't find anywhere else. Prices are competitive.

Could take a few pointers from our neighboring stores. They are always nicely organized and clean when you walk in. I think this one just needs a few updates. The cashiers and staff are always friendly though, and we have one of the best set of butchers that you can find in Highlands County. Anyway that you want your meat cut oh, they try their best to see to your needs . I think this store is pretty reasonable in price also.

A good alternative to the bug box stores if you want to get in and out quickly. A little pricey though but their BUY ONE GET ONE offerings when you come in the door help some. Store is always exceptionally clean. The cashiers are efficient, quick and friendly. Good place to grab those small list needs. Great produce but sadly always among the highest prices around. Wish they would do some area price checking and become more reasonable for the area. Also wish they would not keep changing their discount card programs so often.

This is not one of the remodeled versions, so don't expect it to compare to the newer stores. It's a great neighborhood market with sufficient choices, fair prices, and the weekly specials keep me coming back. The extra discount for purchasing 4 bottles of wine makes their prices the best in town.

Poor use of personnel, go in on a Saturday at 4:00 and Deli is closed. Now 2 people are back there cleaning but they’re closed. So I called the store and was informed that because they didn’t have anyone to work back there it was closed. So they scheduled 2 people at once, instead of staggering work times so the deli could be open for people who work at night and aren’t up early . Poor management, it’s always had poor management

Nice small town atmosphere with helpful staff. Last 2 trips have had awesome lobster claws for only $19.99 for a 2lb bag. Good enough to go back and buy more. Snow crabs are over priced. Produce is hit and miss but lately it has been better than it was a few months ago.

Great service, very clean always and prices are average to slightly higher. The BOGO's are very helpful. Best for your smaller grocery shopping trips in between the large stick up trips to the discount box stores. When you want to get in and out quickly...this is it!!
