Consistent with the other reviews about this Store, in particular...Rachel ... I agree wholeheartedly. This woman is: rude, mean and vicious!I brought a package to them for Fed Ex shipment ... contents: $500. The package was Never scanned! I caught their unimaginable Error, and called her. During this horrific experience, Rachel/Manager told me "it wasn't her job." She didn't offer any help, show concern for their Error, nor apologize for her/& staff gross incompetence. It's worth noting that while I did file a complaint with Corporate, the Walgreen Store Manager/Uma, has not contacted me. She is ineffective and lacks management skills.Thankfully, the Pharmacy Manager, totally professional ... stepped in, contacted Fed Ex...my $500 package is safely on its way.I will Never shop at this Walgreens again; heads-up everyone!Leslie Blazys, PhD

First time using this pharmacy and the experience has been the worst ever. The hold time seems to be excessive, the staff seems to be unprofessional and lost. This location needs to do better based on the reviews that I see on here.

Came to get a flu shot for a class i’m taking at the college and they said it was $69.99! There’s a sign outside that says “Free flu shots” Make this make sense. I would never suggest this Walgreens to anyone.

This has got to be the worst Pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They have 0 empathy for their patients. The manager Rachael is the worst. No regard for her clients well being. They do not answer the phone in the Pharmacy. Save yourself the aggravation. Do Not Use This Pharmacy.

The management here is very attentive. I had an issue with my rewards account and was some how set up for digital receipts only on a prior visit. The cashier working was not able to print me a paper receipt that I needed and told me to contact Walgreens on their website. I did such and sadly they could not provide me a paper receipt either. (I needed this in order to claim rewards points on Fetch as they make you take a picture of the receipt. I also use it for caregiving recordkeeping). The store manager, Uma, somehow caught word of my issue and told me to stop back in when I way in the area and she would see what she would do for me. When in the area again I stopped in and talked with her about the situation. It was too late for me to utilize the receipt but she was very friendly, attentive and accommadating to the best of her ability. Her demeanor and customer service is fantastic and she is very friendly. I observed that she is not just good management material with customers, but with other employees as well. 5 stars simply for Uma T!

There's not enough help in the very busy pharmacy dept. In this story. And it's been this way for some time ! I refuse to believe that the Managers of this store can't see this or refuse to do anything about it. The biggest problem is the CVS across the street is no better!!. I Managed 2 warehouses for a world wide company & I know if I Managed my stores like this with no customer consideration I would have been let go or demoted. I only hope someone will fix this problem at this store. I am looking for another pharmacy.

The Avon Park Walgreens pharmacy never has enough employees. The wait to get a prescription filled is ridiculous. I can't get mad at the employees because it's not their fault. Shame on you Walgreens! Shame on you

The staff is always pleasant. Every customer is greeted upon entering the store. Always neat ànd very clean. The pharmacy department iis extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to about any concerns you may have about your medication.

Very slow pharmacy!!This is an ongoing problem, not just once or twice!!If you have the pleasure of visiting this store in Avon Park Florida you to will wait and wait and wait!Don't even bother trying to talk with someone on the phone in the pharmacy!! Absolutely will not go back there!

With in a month I walked out 3 times with out getting my prescription .no one should have to wait in line for over 15 mins to pick one up.its totally uncalled for ! Same with the drive through. People in line complain .but no one steps up to the plate!! Your covid line is not used for that purpose.just take some one filling out paperwork before a line with people waiting to pick up meds. Then they have the nerve to ask for a good review!!

It starts with the management! This store is full of imcompetency and should be closed down until they find people capable of running a store in a decent manner. EVERYTIME I go to the pharmacy there is an issue. The Doctor actually made a mistake this time by calling my son's antibiotic in there and once again a problem occurred. I have worked in pharmacies before and never experienced this. It's sad for people to wait 30 mins just for an answer on the phone. And worse to be told a rx was ready only to be told upon arrival or would be another 30 mins. Smh

I made an appointment for a Covid Vaccination. Got there 5 minutes early, got in the Covid Check In Line. Somebody cut in front of me becasue the Covid check in line is not recognized by those that can't read. Got in the other line, waited a long time because seniors can't not talk to a pharmacist for less than 15 minutes. During this time, the covid check-in line starts forming. There's no point in having 2 lines when some recognize it and some don't, especially with staff that don't give a darn what's going on right in front of them! The animals are running all around the farmyard in this particular store.

Pharmacy is understaffed or ineffective. Always a takes a long time to speak to anyone or get anything done. Also the Sunday hours are wrong on line.

Picked up a tube of cream, only lasted 4 days. then found out from the doc it was a 60 g tube they ordered not 15g. Upon talking to the pharmacist i was told it only said tube on the prescription. After some investigating with the doctor and another walgreens i found out that the prescription did say 60g.Mistakes are sometimes made i get it, but why lie to me?icked up a tube of cream

Have to wait forever whenever I come to this pharmacy. Have used Walgreens for years and never had this problem. It is very frustrating, it is worse then waiting in a doctors office

The old lady at the cash register was very rude and racist and completey ruined my review. She should be surpervised or fired so she doesnt treat others this way. Other than the racist lady, this is a good store.
