Well since I worked for Palmer Electric and helped Robert set up his first showroom to sell GE and Amana appliances where else would I shop to support local business. It would bug him to pay other hardware stores for tool supplies..... so it turned into this..... an Ace Hardware. I had a good time and remember the delivery of Avon Parks first Amana Radar Range to Mrs Touchton..... who put a raw egg and tried to cook it... bang..... what a mess. We didn't know to tell her not to do that. After cleanup she heated a coffee cup full of water and got it boiling.... she was happy! RIP Robert Palmer!

I went in looking for a hard to find bolt. Dorothy the cashier greeted me when I came in and helped me find what I was looking for. Their selection of hardware is huge and I was able to get my bolt quickly and without headache. A big shout out to Dorothy for great customer service she made frustrating trip enjoyable

Items in the store are surprisingly stocked to the max. It's very hard to find a store that is this stocked without being a big box store. Excellent selection.

Palmer hardware is helpful and easy to get to. Prices are higher on somethings, but better than driving to one of the big box stores. Love to support local small businesses.... This place has everything, the staff is great with helping to find what you need.

I bought peat moss organic fertilizer and had keys made. Everybody here is really friendly. I wish they had a bigger size of the peat moss but not the huge bale.

I don't go there often enough. They have a little of everything. The store is emaculate and they have lots of sales clerks that actually want to help you. Ladies, you can shop in there for an hour or so for gifts for the guys on your list, or all types of cooking supplies. I love this place!

A great little "Hometown Style" hardware store. ALWAYS friendly and helpful. They usually have things the big box stores don't. Very knowledgeable folks that are there to help you out instead of just take your money. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you stop by and check them out. Even if you don't need anything now it's good to see what they have for your future needs....

Ace is the Place! Always friendly knowledgeable service at this location. They had a water heater anode in stock when the big box stores further south on 27 did not. Great classic Main Street Hardware store.

Ace employees are the trifecta- friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Typically they have everything I need, so I am very pleased with their inventory. Prices are comparable to big box stores - a little bit pricier but worth it because of proximity.

I've been going to ace hardware of avon park for 4 years now all the employees are pretty nice and helpful, but that lady that usually works at the register needs some major customer service training. You ask her one question she throws a fit and throws her hands in the air like it's such an inconvenience for her to do her job.

Great place, lots of helpful salespeople. But, every cashier i have ever interacted with is, ummm, dry, and sort of annoyed. It is possible to urge them to be happy and upbeat when receiving $. But a great store!

I Love the store. Mona is very smart and knows her stuff. However, Get rid of the Colin Kaepernick look alike that can't seem to put his damn phone down and do his job. He is rude and disrespectful to damn near all I have seen him interact with.
