We are currently a resident in our RV here at Parramore’s. We just had to write a review because this place is absolutely awesome! We can’t recommend it highly enough. We have been full timing in our RV for 10 years now and we have stayed and worked at numerous campgrounds over the years. This is one of the best maintained, friendly, accommodating (the staff and owners are AWESOME!), fun, just all around GREAT campgrounds that we have stayed at! There is so much to do here including basketball, pickle ball, huge pool, fishing, a marina and boat launch, hidden rocks to find, chili cook offs and other fun activities. Wether you are looking to stay for a weekend or longer, you will love this place!Walkability: Located in the Lake George Management Area, it is a great place to walk!

We rent the Bluegill for the months of January and February. We found the place visiting a friend. That has a 5 th wheel lot next to our place. Which is a nice double wide house. I fell in love with it 3 years ago while visiting. Julie and Jordan and the rest of the staff are awesome. This is our home away from home. With a gorgeous view of the St John's River at our location. This place still has the old Florida feeling and vibes. Away from the hustle, traffic and those people. 😁 We are privileged to be here.

Very nice place, clean, super friendly and informative staff. The residents in the park were also very nice and helpful. Lots of socializing, def not a "Quiet" park but not a frat house either. Will def be back. Very close to the springs. Fantastic ramp which was super long, straight, with little slope, which was perfect for my 36ft class A rv to back down and drop the boat. docks are in great shape and boats are very well protected from waves. seems very kid friendly , playground looked very clean and will be back again with the kiddos soon. good water pressure and no electrical issues.

This place was an amazing place to stay, clean and easy to get around in. We first get in there and the people greeting us were so kind and friendly, when they found it was my husband and my 3 year old they went and hid painted rocks for her to find all around our campsite. That made my daughter’s day getting to find treasures to show off to everyone. Big metal fire pits at every site for those chilly nights was awesome and a nice little playground for the kids. We had such a good time, definitely will be going back again.

Had a great stay. Friendly staff, clean facilities, great location. Having the pool is a big plus. Lots of updates and improvements going on. 1 star off for tight spaces when they fill up on weekends and lots of ants around sites.

This place is great!!! Not too big and not small. It is very clean no trash laying around. They have some cabins you rent. Also they have some older people that live here year round in there campers. It is big enough to ride around campground with bicycles with the kids, you can fish off the docks and bring your boats because they have boat slips. They have a laundry mat with clean washers and dryers. Our house sold here in Pierson and we are staying down here for 2 months until the kids get out of school then we are heading to Tennessee.

What a gem! Our family loved this place and will definitely be back! The drive even around the campground is gorgeous. There are camping spots right on the water along with the boat dock to fish on. We brought our camper, but the cabins looked so cute to stay in. It’s really quiet and the people are really nice. It is a smaller campground which is a bonus for us. I would say at least 1/2 the people are long term residence. Within a few miles they have beautiful walking trails. We love this area. If you are looking for a party campground this is not it. If you are looking for peaceful day/nights and some relaxation this is perfect for you! Dollar General and gas stations close by along with a little restaurant.

Best campground in the area. Super friendly staff and my kid’s favorite part is finding special hidden rocks that get you free ice cream from there gift shop.

My wife and I are very grateful for the opportunity to visit Paramores Campground for the last couple of months. Julie and Kimzy and Jordan were very accommodating, patient and respectful to each and every camper. Their love for the trade and the people are a great example to the honor of friendship. Special respect to the people that keep this campground moving- to James and Nick.

We have stayed in Astor several times but this place is by far my favorite! We stayed for two nights and loved it! The bed was firm and comfortable, no complaints. It was such a cute campground and everyone was SO friendly, especially the staff. We loved the boat ramp being so close and having a safe place to park our truck and boat, that was a big plus compared to a public ramp. We are already looking forward to our next trip back!

The cabins were a nice size but needed a few updates. We mostly spent our time out on the water with our boat and we visited the pool once. The pool was very nice and not too cold or warm. If you're looking for a modern cabin to vacation in I would look somewhere else. If you want a rustic,"throwback" cabin, this is the place for you.

So peaceful. Nice fishing dock. Office personnel are super friendly and the on-site caretaker goes above and beyond! Other campers are mostly residents and seem a little stuffy so far but otherwise we love this place!

I always try something once and I will not be visiting this camp ground again. My husband's family use to spend alot of time here and I will have to say it was a very disappointing experience for myself and for them. Too many campers on-site. You shouldn't rent cabins out when majority of the campers are residents. They ride around on their golf carts and blaremusic all night. The power went out in the middle of the night. We got charged a cleaning fee and there were roahes in the cabin dead on the floors. The list goes on. Very disappointing

First time at Parramore’s Fish Camp. Took family for a weekend camping adventure and I was kinda of saddened. Kind of run down. Other people staying there also mentioned it use to be a great place to take families but since it was sold into new management it has gone down hill. Many permanent people living there and were not really nice. Many stray animals all over mostly cats and dogs. They wouldn’t leave us alone. I have to say was nice being with family and friends but I have to say I won’t be back. I would rather open up camper and stay in my back yard. Advise to management clean the place up and I will check reviews in future and you never know many give it another chance.

We have stayed twice, in the Bear Cabin. One of the best locations in the campground, in our opinion. The employees were always so friendly and helpful! And we were able to bring our two dogs. The cabin is clean, well stocked, and it was perfect. Great location near lots of springs and Ocala National Forest. HIghly Recommend!!
