Absolutely horrible. The only good worker there was an older woman named Tonia. She was an absolute delight and she did a really great job and made amazing conversation. She actually made me want to shop there more. Then management fired her because of her age. Absolutely sickening. Never coming back.

I gave 3 ⭐️'s only because when you call its a busy tone my girlfriend went today around 4-5ish on Tuesday the 11th and was checking out and the younger guy with long hair was bagging the groceries never Gave her the coffee she paid for and astor is a good 20-30 minute drive from our house so I tried call Several times to no Avail and no coffee and I can't call and speak to somebody so I can't even go and get the coffee tomorrow so I'm out 10 bucks for a thin coffee that I don't get used Anyways thank you and good luck other than that it's a 5 star but the phone doesn't work so it's 3 and I'm missing out on my coffee and I really needed it for the morning

Very large and has more than any other dollar general. Clean organized and very friendly staff. Great sense of humor and personality. No wait st the lines and helpful to help you find stuff. Thank you for running this nice new store. It's now my favorite.

The Worst employees and managers ever just because they're in a small town in the only store around they think they can pick and choose who is allowed in their store. They profile people and judge other's its very dirty none of the shelfs are kept up.. Everyone who works there should be fired and they should start fresh I opened that store help set it up and I work there for a couple years in our store was always kept clean comfortable and we were always welcoming

Great. Found everything I went in to get. All employees were very helpful and even found me the items when I couldn't find them on my own. Had at least 4 employees busy restocking shelves.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The store itself had way more than I anticipated. Extremely convenient and inexpensive. Overall a pleasant experience :)

The girl with blue hair is very rude! Listen to your customers when they ask a question, should not be up to another customer to answer questions. We also went in store twice, same girl didn't give my husband product he paid for, went back this blue hair girl said wasn't paid for and bought it second time. If this girl cashes you out, make sure you get receipt. Management team needs give her lesson on how to treat customers

I absolutely love the friendly staff at this Astor Florida location. They are customer service super stars. Management should hod tight to positive atmosphere this crew always manages to create.

It was people friendly, nobody got on my case about not wearing mask , for I believe in not wearing a mask, for we have rights and we have freedom as well. All together it was a relieve to not have to be harrased and pushed to have to be a slave to the mask.

Dollar General was clean, staff was pleasant. Christmas music was blaring too loudly from a boombox. But hey, Christmas season is upon us and DG stores are filling up with holiday merchandise.

DG is an interesting place; it's like a baby Walmart, which is good in Rural Communities that don't have access to good 'ol Wally World. However, like a Walmart, you'll see some interesting characters in there. There's usually at least one guy without a shirt on and its 50 degrees outside.

best Dollar General I have ever been to is Astor DG. The manager Mary is the best manager I have ever seen. She goes above and beyond taking care of the store and the shoppers. DG needs a Mary in all of their stores.

My wife and I stopped here on the back from Ocala, the store was well stocked and clean, the staff was very friendly as well as the town's people, the cashier and manager were vey helpful, hope to stop in soon

Decent enough; pretty much like every other Dollar General. I prefer to shop local and get most necessities at Triple Z down the street (Astor Family Market) and only go to Dollar General if I need to though.

January 25th 2017 I showed up here at 9:50 diesel truck pull down about two minutes all the lights are on and they have all the doors locked and it says closed at 10 at all the doors off before 9:55 p.m. bad for business

Crowded, with lots of items in every aisle, but also, you can find most anything here. Convenient stop after driving east from Ocala thru the National Forest.
