If you are a NASCAR fan. This is your stop. The decor absolutely fits the name. Our server, Susan, was fantastic. On the spot she made sure anything needed was there. Her attention was well appreciated. The food is excellent, tasty and just the right amount. All in all a great first visit. A return trip is in certainly in the cards. And the prices are right on.

Cute little diner. Susan, our waitress was very attentive, friendly and prompt. Theme is NASCAR and they have plenty of memorabilia on the walls…heavy on the Dale Earnhardt stuff! The food was very good, definitely fresh cooked. The portions were just right, but smaller than most restaurants serve, so you didn’t have leftover biscuits and gravy. The prices are right in line with local diners. Only criticism is the cleanliness of the chairs and floor could be improved.

I try my hardest to eat at private, locally owned businesses. This experience is exactly what I was looking for. The patrons and the staff were all very nice and welcoming. There were plenty of option to satisfy me and I was served quickly. The food seemed like a home cooked meal and I felt like a welcome guest. I had chili with a fired ham and cheese sandwich.

My husband has been raving about this place for years, and we finally, finally made it out for breakfast together, and this was /hands-down/ the BEST diner breakfast I've ever had. I'm from up north where diners are more common, and Race Car simply blows em all out of the water. Eggs just right, potatoes nice and crispy, and not greasy, which is a huge plus! Right on point with home cooking. Food aside, prices are reasonable, service was PERFECT, and staff is incredibly friendly. Wonderful experience. Solid 10/10. I will absolutely be back!

Passing through the town to go look at a car and found this cute little quaint diner. Food and service was amazing. Even the locals that frequent the place are super friendly. If we're ever up that way again I would definitely eat there again!

These people rock their breakfast.Have you ever gone to a Denny's or Cracker Barrel, and marvel at how their pancakes and french toast are always so good? Race Car Diner is no exception. Come down here if you want some dough that hits all the right taste buds.At times it can be just you in the diner, which may be just the way you want your experience to go. Times like that are great for taking a look at the awesome collectables and memorabilia scattered..........everywhere. They're on the walls, ceiling, lamps, shelves, even in the restroom.

Every morning my son and I order breakfast from here. We order on our way to the restaurant. when we arrive Jaime always has my coffee ready (creamer and sugar already added) my sons sweet Tea and our food! Always greeted with smiles and positive attitudes. Small hometown restaurant. If I could give more stars I would. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Stopped in because we were working in the area for lunch one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in years. Had the open face roast beef and gotta say was the best gravy I've ever had from a restaurant. Even the other customers were great every one sitting around talking didn't make a difference which table you were at.great price and great food will definitely come back.

Susan our server was great! She was pleasant, fast and fun. I got the clams and they were awesome! I would come back here again and highly recommend you give it a try if you are in the neighborhood.

A husband and wife run the restaurant. It's only open breakfast and lunch stays about 2:00. Their waitress is a DEAR one. The food is good and they surely give you a meal! So many workers in nearby jobs take their meals here. Plus retired people eat there regularly.

Had fish and chips 🍟 with coleslaw. Everything was good however only one small piece of fish 🐟 that was kind of tough. I love supporting local restaurants. 💓 I'll be back. Thank you.

Very small but my wife and I enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. It was our 1st first time their can't wait to go back. It was your typical Mom and Pop restaurant.

The owners and the staffs are great plus the food is great as well it's a little mom-and-pop shop but the food is wonderful and the plates will fill you. My father goes in there every morning and eats his breakfast he loves that place

Friendly family owned neighborhood restaurant. Only place I like the fried fish. Don't be intimidated by it's tiny size. The locals that eat here are kind country folks and local workers.
