The love between Lady Liberty and the employees is SO strong! Lady sticks to my side every morning to make sure that I don't leave her at home, and when we get to the Intersection before the Resort she stands up to watch our approach. She's always excited to play with her besties like Tucker, just to name 1. She comes home ready to eat her dinner and go right to bed so that she's ready to do it again the next day ❤️

Archer Road Pet Resort is the only place I trust with my dog! I love that they provide daily updates as requested, and their staff really go the extra mile in making Gus feel loved and comfortable while he’s away from home. Every photo I’ve gotten of him is so precious - he really loves his stays! I also got him groomed during his stay and they did a great job. Highly recommend.

I’m new to “doggy day care”. They have made my first time leaving my 2 small breed dogs for a business trip very tolerable for me. The daily report cards and willingness to handle my calls was greatly appreciated. The staff are great! My dogs reluctantly left. I found the pricing very reasonable. If you need to have your pet cared for while you’re away I truly recommend Archer Road Pet Resort. Also felt better that the vets office shared the parking lot too!

So this lovely day began with dropping my dog off for a grooming which had a scheduled pickup time. Come back 4 hours later and they tell me they couldn’t get him in because they had an “emergency grooming” which later I found out was just someone who didn’t bother booking and needed their dog groomed before a trip. I come back after my dog was dropped off 8 hours prior to an absolute disaster. Now who would ever shave down a Pomeranian I have absolutely no clue. This is basic grooming 101. My beautiful Pomeranian now faces absolute complete ruin. His coat has been ruined. I would avoid this place if you have any show dogs or toy breeds. And beyond all avoid their groomer Dusty at all costs. She wouldn’t be able to cut grass. Don’t bother replying to this review Archer Pet Resort. I seriously could care less. A team full of complete agents of averageness on their best day. I waited months to put to this review because honestly I don’t care. But I did it just to warn future owners with premium dogs to avoid the pure misery I have had to go through months and months later. Thank you for employing the most incompetent team in Central Florida. Here is a beautiful before and monstrous after shot. This was a $5,000+ dog. And I love him more than anything in the world.

This place has always treated my pets with the utmost respect and care. Not only are they great at what they do, they actually put forth effort in their work and it shows. When I moved to Gainesville, I brought my 14 year old boxer there to get groomed every month or so. When it was time to say goodbye to her at 16, she had her final groom there. They treated her so well. We now take our mastador there to get groomed and he loves Garrett! Thank you everyone at archer road pet resort!

Was recommended by a friend. Our pup was so excited to see us, and she was tired out. She had reportedly been outside playing with her ball all day. So excited to have a fantastic place to take her.

Initially bringing my dog to this place the people were nice and courteous which gave me and my fiancé high hopes that our dog was in good hands. After picking her up after our trip she had caught kennel cough and when I called here to inform them that she had gotten sick from staying there I was welcomed by complete ambivalence and was told the children will clean the kennel thanks. A couple months after it is present day and after taking her to a more professional kennel that was also a veterinary office that performed a fecal test informed me that she also now has heartworms and requires immediate treatment. Archer pet resort is the only other kennel I had taken my pet besides the veterinary office and she lives a comfortable inside life and is closely monitored there was no other possible way for her to have contracted either except for this establishment because of conditions here

We have had our Australia Kelpie, Tampa, stay with ARPR twice now. The first was a short 4 day weekend stay, from which she came home happy and healthy.We were impressed dropping her off - we feed Farmers Dog and the staff were very well versed in servings and storage, and they were super welcoming.The second time was a month long stay while we went to Australia.When we arrived on the Sunday afternoon to drop her off they were absolutely inundated with people and dogs, but remained friendly and caring - even greeting Tampa by name when we walked through the door!When it was time to hand her over, she was happy to go back with the staff, wagging her tail and not even looking back at us!When I picked her up, she was again happy and healthy. We had arranged for her to have a bath, so I called before going to ensure she was ready (and she was at 8:30am!). She was super happy, waggy, soft and fluffy, and smelled nice!Really happy we stumbled across Archer Road, and will definitely be back!

The staff was very friendly. This was our first time boarding our rescue dog so I was very nervous because of what she went through in the past. She must have had a blast because she was knocked out as soon as we got home! Very clean facility. Will def be using them again in the near future for boarding and for grooming!!!! 5 stars! Best pet resort and groomer around! Our dog Lilli, a golden retriever, has a personality of her own. Before coming here, she's been kicked out of every grooming place we've taken her to due to "uncooperative behavior". Here, she loves it at the amazing staff. They are patient, kind and have a genuine love for animals. Not only does she get groomed here quarterly, this is her home away from home when we travel. She gets so excited when we pull in and after a Lilli demanded belly rub from the staff, she happily goes back to her "room" without even looking back. They are 100% the best around and we can travel worry free knowing she's in good hands. ❤🐶

Archer Road Pet Resort in Archer, Florida, offers day stay visits as well as overnight boarding. The process of reserving dates for boarding was made quite easy by the employee on the phone. I was even able to call our vet, Archer Animal Hospital (which is, literally, right next door), and get my dog’s vaccination records emailed directly to Archer Road Pet Resort. The staff seemed to genuinely enjoy having my dog stay with them, and he seemed happy enough to be there. Archer Road Pet reset also offers grooming services, so your pet can even go home ‘smelling like a rose’😎Bottom line? Know that your pet will be well cared for here.

Yesterday I was at my wits end, finding Archer Rd Pet Resort saved the lives of my two fur babies. I had to move out quickly, no place to go, called up Archer Rd Pet Resort and they took them both on very short notice. Samantha was very nice, kind, very helpful and very compassionate to my situation. Samantha was a lifesaver to me and my 2 dogs.

I messed up and came in a whole week early! The wonderful ladies let Ellie stay for the day and worked on her in between their other clients. She was well pampered! She came out smelling great and looking sweet!

We just had our dog stay for a few nights. We had such a flawless experience and used the app to make reservation with the option to add card for easy check out. Very convenient! Highly recommend! The staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable. We feel very confident leaving our dogs there. My one dog was nervous the first time and now happily goes back with the staff - that’s how you know the pups are treated well! This is our go to spot when we need to go out of town.

Our 5 month old kitten needed to be boarded while we were overseas on vacation. We were new to the area and didn’t have family or friends who could look after her for us. Prior reviews showed Archer Pet Resort as a great place and they were right! Hazel was well cared for by the staff. We enjoyed getting the photos and updates while we were away. She was very spoiled by the team and we can’t thank them enough for giving her love and attention while we were away. We have another (shorter) trip coming in the fall and will be using their services again.

Our third boxer staying at the pet resort and she is loved while there. Easy to make a reservation. While no place is like home, the pet resort comes pretty close! We think the world of Garrett and his crew!

The people are very friendly. The place looks and smells clean. Grooming is well priced and they do a good job. Kennel stays are a little over priced especially with all the add-ons.. that is why I have them a 4 star instead of a 5 star.Over all they treat my dog very well and I would recommend them to my friends and family.

We went away for a weekend out of state and dropped our pup off here. They were great with her. We got “report card” updates every day with how she was that day. Loved being able to make sure she was handling the environment well. When we went to pick her up the staff said they were sad to see her leave because they enjoyed her so much! We will definitely be using Archer Pet Resort again!

4/2 Final Update:Took my dog to get groomed here again today and the experience was night and day from my last experience. The front staff were incredibly friendly and courteous. My dog was groomed in an appropriate amount of time and he looked and smelled great. He obviously feels a lot better. I am so happy to revise my original review.I would like to point out that, if it hadn’t been for the owners professional response, I likely wouldn’t had given ARPR another shot. I am a person who appreciates when someone can take a critical review, not be offended, and maybe revise some things. Very happy with ARPR and I’ll be returning soon! :)3/30 Update:After reading the response from the owner, I was incredibly impressed with their professional response. I didn’t give a poor review to be mean and nasty and I believe the owner could see that. I just had some legitimate concerns. Knowing that the concerns have been addressed, I have decided to give ARPR another try. I have an appointment coming up soon and am very optimistic. I will update again after the appointment.Original: While I believe ARPR is a clean and beautiful facility, my experiences here for the last two grooming appointments have been less than ideal.My latest experience: I had an 11:00am appointment. I drop my very well behaved dog off to be groomed at 10:50. I decided to spend the day in Gainesville while I waited for him to be done.At 3:30pm I called to see if he was finished. HE HADN’T EVEN BEEN STARTED. I was informed that they were running “a little” behind. A little behind is starting at noon when my appointment is at 11:00...NOT 4.5 hours later. At 4:30 I received the call he was ready to be picked up.I pick him up, he looked well groomed, until I get home and realize he had a substantial knick on the top of his head. While I realize that animals move and things happen, I wasn’t even informed.I let my first mediocre experience go as I understand off days happen, but the last two experiences have been this way.All in all, it takes entirely too long when an appointment has been made in advance, and if something happens, I’d like to be informed at pickup. I love ARPR for boarding an animal, but won’t return for grooming services.

Great staff that take great care of our doggo. We have a Cane Corso with separation anxiety, and the team at Archer Road Pet Resort does a great job of keeping him safe and comfortable. I cannot thank them enough as dropping our dog off at Day Care gives us the opportunity to do things without him. This was a short weekend visit to try out Archer Road Pet Resort. My two small dogs can be a little shy at first, but they both warmed up to the staff immediately. Everyone there seemed to really enjoy their jobs and to love animals. The doggies had a nice mini-vacation. We be back.

My dog Zoey stood for about 5 days overnight a few weeks ago and today for a daycare visit. Zoey is a GSD and when I adopted her she was scared of the world, so I was cautious when picking somewhere to keep her when I have long days or vacation. I can confidently say that they are the answer. My dog has not had any problems and she always comes out so happy. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a safe place to keep your pets!!

Found this place based on a recommendation of a friend when we brought home our golden retriever puppy. I cannot speak highly about how wonderful they are.We have used them for boarding for trips, doggie day care and grooming. Their pricing is fair. My dog LOVES it there! He comes home happy and tired from playing.Garrett who owns it I believe loves our dog and is sad to see him leave. I am happy to find a wonderful place for my dog to stay when we take a vacation without him. Good to find a place that loves him like we do!

This is the best place I have ever taken Shado! She was always scared when I left her at other places and ended up acting out but the staff at ARPR has made her feel so comfortable And she’s always leaves in a good mood! She loves everyone she has come in contact with and this will definitely be the only place I take her! The pricing is very good and they did a great job with her grooming!! All the good things you’ve heard about this place are true! My cat Hazel is a rescue and can get anxious in a cage. Archer Road is a great facility with plenty of spacious kennels for its animals. It’s a great atmosphere (very clean). The staff are very friendly and trustworthy. I feel safe leaving my baby girl there and know she is being well cared for.

I’ve been bringing my Bandit here for daycare almost everyday for a few months. He loves it! I know he is safe and in good hands which eases my mind. The staff here is fantastic and always willing to work with my weird schedule. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, it’s the best! This is also where we bring Bandit for grooming and he always turns out beautiful. All around awesome!
