I’m always pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, efficiency, professionalism and knowledge of the staff at the desk. We are new to Gainesville and this location of Archer Animal Hospital was recommended by a good friend and a real pet lover. She said the front staff was awesome and they are. They even called to let me know that they offered a better deal on flea preventive than I was able to get at one of the major online pet supply companies I’d ordered from. I liked the vet, Greg, a calm, quiet fellow who had a kind way with my scared puppy and cat.Bottom line? If you’re looking for a veterinarian, I recommend talking the short drive out to Archer Animal Hospital.

Amazing place! They were so nice and informative every step of the way to let me know what was going on with our dog. Even followed up a couple days later to check on her because they were worried about how she was doing. Won't go anywhere else!

I’ve been coming to Archer Animal Hospital for years. . . This visit with two dogs was by far the best visit yet. Gaile was right there to greet Baxter when he came in, and he loved her. Dr. Eckis and staff came in and tended to Baxter, getting him taken care of fast and efficiently. Baxter didn’t have time to get stressed out or think about what was coming next. Both my pups have Free Vaccines for Life and this is the best program ever. . .highly recommended! Thank you so much for taking such care (preventative) of both my pups who always make my day brighter and happier. How you can wake up in a bad mood when you have pups in your life? 🐾💕. Baxter has been coming here since he was eight weeks old, adopted from the Humane Society. He’s now a rambunctious 4 year old. . .

Staff members are always friendly and willing to listen to your requests. My dogs don't mind annual visits at all! Always able to work you in within a reasonable amount of time.

Closed on Wednesday and the emergency vet number on their answering machine is also closed on Wednesday. Had to call around to find a vet who could help my young puppy who was vomiting.

This place is a little unassuming but as someone who has worked in the veterinary industry for almost a decade I can say with confidence that I will not trust any other local facility with my babies. Our bestest boi got himself a hot spot during a pandemic and they handled the entire situation with exceptional compassion and professionalism. Their prices are super reasonable, and I have YET to meet a single staff member who doesn't love their job. They make staying on top of our animals' Healthcare quick, easy, and efficient. If you are reading this, THANK YOU, GUYS!!

You can tell that the staff here really care about animals and their people. They just performed emergency surgery on my kitty and they helped us even without an appointment.

Love this place! Staff is always friendly, professional, and compassionate. They go the extra mile to help with insurance claims and realistic when it comes to services they can perform. I recently had my English Bulldog's nails trimmed and the young lady who helped us really listened to my concerns about Bowser's uneven nails and dew claws. She did a great job on his nails with the result that they are all even and smoothed out. Bowser is now walking better and scratching us less. It's surprising what a difference well-trimmed nails can make!

Good service, but very expensive. My only complaint is feeling like I have to spend a lot of money for basic care on small medical needs (a medication, etc) OR I have to pick & choose what care my pet receives because the most aggressive, costly options seem to be offered first. I don't like feeling like I have to compromise my pets care & talk them down on options due to the cost, when other less expensive options have provided adequate care for my pets in the past, but I've had to decline more expensive options first, due to cost to get those other options. I don't like that feeling or approach as a customer. Having to pay hundreds of dollars for an office visit & 1 or 2 medications, seems excessive. The staff is friendly, caring & the facility clean. Very convenient to Archer Road Pet Resort, which is comforting when we are traveling...vet services are right there if need be & it makes sharing records easy.

This was the first time losing a pet for me and I had him for 9 years a very best friend. Archer animal hospital went above and beyond to help me through that process! I'd recommend them 10 times over! Thank y'all so much.

Great experience. The staff are very helpful . The vet that treated my dog was the first one that was able to help him with his skin issues. It is such a relief to see him playful and happy after years of struggling with this.

These guys are great! They are super friendly, answer all of your questions without acting like they are pushing you out the door and prices are pretty fair. So far haven't seen a push to do anything that my pets don't need just to increase their bottom line either.

There were 4 kitties who decided to take up residency on our property. We already took in 3 others so what's a few more. To prevent any surprises a local Vet participates in Fix Them All at a discounted fee so I made appointments for all 4 kitties. I found this Animal Hospital to be friendly and caring. I have no issues having my boys be treated there. I highly recommend this practice

Awesome veterinary. Staff is always nice. They are using social distancing measurements during this time of the way in which this world is at the moment and moving forward with an example of this is that you are not able to enter the business at this point and time, instead call the business and let them no that you have arrived and a lot of times there's already workers coming and going out of the building to the parking places and they usually come over and ask who you are so it's a smooth operation.

First off, ive had plenty of bad experiences at local businesses and i never write one star reviews but the extremely low standards of customer service here must be exposed. My family and I have spent literally 10s of thousands of dollars at Archer Animal Hospital as our primary vet for all our pets for well over a decade and the way I was spoken to and treated today ensured I never will spend another penny there. I will tell my family the same. And this wasn't the first time we've had a bad experience, but I can no longer look past the issues. The front office staff recently has been extremely rude, passive aggressive, and offer no customer support at all. None of them smile or say anything nice when you come to the desk. I'm being told I need to spend $500 and I can't even ask a few questions without getting glared at and spoken to condescendingly despite me being polite and respectful. None of my questions were answered. They feel entitled to huge quantities of your money for price gauged services and if you question it all you will be humiliated in front of other customers. No thanks, I'll take my money elsewhere. I gave the woman at the desk my name and my dogs name and she wasnt paying attention amd kept having to ask the same questions multiple times and then when i answered again my dogs name she said "i'm just asking" with this tone as if to suggest I was being rude when I wasnt at all. She glared at me the entire time like she hated me and i have never met or seen this woman a day in my life and I was respectful the whole time. Also, the front office staff could be heard grumbling and complaining about having no assistance and how their coworker "needs to get up from her desk and do her job" in front of the customers. Then they went to the back and asked for help and could audibly be heard being told NO by the whole team, while the whole lobby of customers listened. It was embarrassing and to have the lady in the front take out her anger on me for no reason was the final straw. I told them I would find somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague.

I have been taking my pets here for years now. The staff is just amazing. My cat is a troublesome one and they take care of him with ease. The plans they offer make it very affordable to keep up with preventive care. Dr. Fleming and staff always explain everything in detail and alway make sure you fully understand what is going on. I highly recommend them for all of your pet care needs.

Amazing veterinary clinic, a bit too pricey for my budget though. Love the staff here and always trust handing my fur baby over to them. I've heard they help low income pet owners so maybe that's why it costs more for stuff here than in the ville'? Thank you Archer Animal Hospital for keeping my babies healthy and happy, even through the pandemic, we appreciate you!!! 💜

My wife and I were originally very pleased with Archer Animal Hospital. However, it seems they have a serious communication problem as I have had several things I have called about slip through the cracks. We no longer feel comfortable with them or their handling of our dog's care. I have been given excuses to many times to count but I always gave them the benefit of the doubt numerous times. When I arrived after calling to check on our dog and being told he was ready I showed up and advised I was not longer happy with their service. I paid our bill and then proceeded to wait fifteen minutes for one of the techs to bring out our baby even though there were three of them standing up front as well as the receptionist. When I checked out no one told me the result of the Heartworm test that was done, half of the items that were supposed to be done were not completed even though I approved them to be done. I looked at the notes on his chart for today and no one went over those with me either. I paid over $130.00 and got no results from anyone, no one spoke to me about our baby, no one gave us the time of day other than checking us out. I was told by the receptionist "here is your receipt and your medical records for your dog." No one tried to speak with me, no one tried to work the issues out, no one apologized for the issues we have encountered. No one cared about how we felt, no one cared enough to share the information needed from our baby's checkup. No one had one thing to say to me other than asking me for money. After a review of our paperwork, I found that records I requested Archer Animal Hospital obtain from their sister office in Gainesville where our baby had to be seen on an emergency was never completed. This was after I was told they had requested them and they would be a part of his file. I was assured it had been taken care of but never was. I was treated as if I was not existent and no one cared about the well being of our dog as evidence by their failure to provide any results or finds form our appointment. I do understand being busy and other things come can come up but this is not a new problem but one that continues to come up. It seems attention to details is not only lacking in communication. The website is still showing holidays hours and days they are closed and Facebook stated they are temporarily closed. It seems this place is heading the wrong direction and I am no longer going to allow the well being of my pet to be in jeopardy due to lack of care, attention to detail or professionalism.

I take my dogs here and we love it! The staff is friendly and always fits me in when I call. The vets and vet techs are knowledgable and don't try to push extra things on you. They are awesome with both of my dogs and we will continue to return.

The lady at the front desk Gail was the nastiest human I've ever came across and so lazy would not answer any questions and when I told her my name to check in she told me to wait and put her finger up at me. She was not doing anything but texting on her phone
