*DO NOT LET THEM MANGLE YOUR PET!!!Had I known that most of the reviews and "awards" posted were during the previous ownership I never would have brought my puppy here. Took him for his first trim and he looks like he cut his own hair with a Flowbee while in a wind tunnel!! Not only does he look omelets but it took them 5 hours to get to him. After 3 hours of no updates I went to the "salon" and he had been bathed and put back into a cage. When I dropped him off I was told that he was next in line for trim. I brought him home until they were ready to trim him. 2 hours later….. I’m completed disgusted with the treatment but moreover his beautiful coat is now an embarrassment!!The first pic is before all the rest are the day of the grooming 😡

I absolutely love this salon!! My dog is super aggressive and very difficult. The groomers loved her and she love them back, she came back a new and happy dog. I highly recommend because they will love your dog like their own!!

Just took my pup to get groomed here for the first time and absolutely loved it. Amazing customer service, fair pricing and my girl looks and smell so good...plus they were able to book me on the same day so, yay! 🙌🏼

Love this place! I reached out for a quote to have my cat Calliope groomed. I received a prompt response and pricing was very reasonable. I sent over Calliope's proof of vaccinations on Wednesday or Thursday, and had an appointment on Saturday. TLC accepts pet drop off between 8-10 am and when your fur baby is all done they call you. Calliope had a shampoo, blow dry, brush, nail trim, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and pad and sanitary area trim; $50🤗 My furbaby look, felt, and smelled great. Also, if her nails need trimming they said I can just bring her in anytime. I highly recommend TLC for all your pet grooming needs.

Friendly workers and the took care of my dogs nail trim quickly. Environment didn’t feel cozy or well taken care of like other pet salons but it seemed like the workers liked what they did. Animals seemed okay. Not sure if come and leave my dog for a spa treatment outside of a nail trim.

They do a great job with our 10 month old German Shepherd puppy! They bathe her, trim her nails, and shave down her pads so she doesn't slide around our tile floor as much. She's gone several times and she always comes back happy and clean.

We are new to the Apopka area. I took a chance with my two 7-year-old Schnauzers (who do not love groom day), and my 1-year-old toy poodle after a disastrous try with a mobile groomer from Winter Garden area; let’s just say they were more “scruffy” afterwards (review on them can be seen in more detail).. Connie from TLC was kind and helpful with all my questions on the phone. All 3 dogs came home in a good mood and very well groomed. We will definitely return and it’s assuring to know that our pets are well treated. The price was very reasonable which helps with bigger tipping to the technician!

My whole family brings our dogs here and have been for years. They always do an exceptional job on the grooming and take great care of our dogs. The prices are very reasonable, so reasonable that no matter where I have lived in the past couple of years I always make the trip to Apopka to take them to TLC.

I took my 2 dogs once before (75lb Great Pyrenees mix and 55lb shepherd mix) for just a bath and they finished both baths in a little less then 3 hrs and my dogs looked great. I shave both my dogs once every 6 months so I decided to see how they did with shaving them. I have taken my dogs to countless different groomers and it normally doesn’t take more then 4hrs to bathe and shave them. They held onto my dogs for over 8hrs!!!! This place does not do appt slots, they just tell you to drop off your dog between 8am-10am and they take the dogs first come first serve which I didn’t know until I called to ask why they were taking so long. I took them in on Saturday and dropped them off at 9:30am and I didn’t get my dogs back until 5:15pm. That is just cruel and completely unnecessary, they have no play area either so my dogs were stuck in a cage for hours and no dog should be left in a small cage for that long without being let out. I called and they told me my dogs were 15th & 16th in line which makes me think they overbook themselves on saturdays and don’t seem to think holding on to someone’s dog for 8hrs is unreasonable. It’s a shame because they actually did a good job on them but I was ultimately left angry and disappointed that they saw no issue holding dogs in cages for that length of time and did not seem to understand how cruel that is. They need to change their current booking system and they NEED to set up time slots in order to avoid this happening, appts exist for a reason.

I went in for a nail trim for my Persian boy and walked out with a lion cut!They were SO amazing, I had groomers refuse to shave him because he is a handful to put it lightly.They handled him with care, and they were so fast!I can't recommend this place enough for cat owners!It is hard to even find a place to groom cats let alone do it well but TLC does!

I took my toy doodle for her first grooming and specifically asked for a puppy cut. Which is just her face, feet and sanitary areas and they cut her all over. My poor baby is traumatized. This is just what I did not want to happen. They also put cologne on her that has yet to wear off. She is still very jumpy when touched. Not happy that no one was able to understand English when I dropped her off. When I talked to the women on the phone she said what I wanted would not be a problem. I paid $52 for this trauma!

I have two chihuahuas and they love coming for their monthly groom. The last few places I took them they were always really lethargic when I picked them up but here they're energetic and happy. The price is really great and you can tell they care about the animals. Definitely recommend to any pet parents in the apopka area.

they did a good job with my two cats for bath and all that but they didn’t tell or warn me that one of my cats was hurting with limp, which is broke hip after I paid and said goodbyes to them. Grooming is my first time and vet will take care of my cat for the rest.

I took my Yorkie puppy here to get her first trim with high hopes due to the recommendations and high ratings. Unfortunately it wasn’t at all what I asked for. Understandably she wouldn’t look like the dogs in the photo because every dog is different. But the cut didn’t even have a slight resemblance of what I was explaining I wanted. She was given the “typical yorkie cut” which was much shorter than I was hoping for. The overall cut was much shorter than requested along with the cuts being very choppy. There was straight lines across the top of her pointed ear that didn’t even match up with the lining of her ear. Yes, it will grow back out but not worth the $50 at all.

I have been taking my 2 dogs to Tammy and her staff for almost 3 years. I would not bring them to anyone else. Her staff is outstanding and they go out of their way to do as I ask. My dogs always look and smell great.

This business is under new ownership and the difference in SERVICE istotally down graded to ZERO. No matter what you request for a 'grooming' for your precious dog, they do a 'shave down' period! I witnessed a very tiny dog being handled very roughly by the groomer. Itmade me angry to see how terrified the little guy was. Wish his ownerhad witnessed her behavior. TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE. Not only istheir fee up to $52.00 but they ask for an additional 'tip' of $5.00 forthe groomer! SAVE YOUR MONEY FOLKS AND SAVE YOUR BELOVEDDOG FROM A LOUSY 'SHAVE DOWN' AND YOURSELF $57.00 FORPUTTING 'PUPPY' THROUGH ANOTHER TERRIFING DAY! This is whatI will be doing as I interview other groomers!

Bought our cat to get a lioncut. When we picked him up they stated his claw on front paw was pulled out they stated "We don't know what happened". We took him to vet and discovered 3 claws were gone. Now he is on pain medication, risk of infection, and his personality has changed significantly. These are the facts I will let you be the judge to trust this business.

I've been taking my pets to TLC Pet salon for 12 years. They are the BEST! We've had a Japanese chin, a Jatzu and a Golden Retriever. They all turn out perfect every time. We now live about 45 mins away and still use their services. I've tried a couple other groomers but haven't found an equivalent service.

They use to care for my older dog and now I take my 3 dogs and they are so amazing, I have a pit bull who gets aggressive when getting his nails cut, I used to pay 150 to have him sedated to cut his nails and they take care of his nails and make it happen without having him sedated..
