First time coming to this vet yesterday and so thankful I did! I ended up taking in a cat unexpectedly and needed to get him checked out asap and my usual vet wasn’t able to get him in. I’ve always seen good things about this office and called and explained the situation and they were able to see him. Everyone was so nice and professional and overall it was just a great experience! Thankfully he was healthy and I now have a new fur baby. We named him Onyx and he is adjusting well to his new home. We will definitely be returning for future appointments for him!

Last week we had to have one of the most emotional visits of our families life, and sadly our precious girl of 14 years needed to get the rest she desperately needed. The front desk nurses were amazing in our difficult time. We knew them from Pet paradise and they were extremely patient and understanding of us in our hardest moments. In my grief I don't recall getting the nurse and doctors names, but they were also incredibly patient and loving with not only us, but our sweet girl. As hard as this day was, they displayed great compassion in her final moments, and with her humans. I honestly don't think we could have had this goodbye with any other group, and they are greatly appreciated.

I have been to several veterinary clinics/hospitals/offices and by far this is the best one!! Not only does this place boast a beautiful office and amenities for your fur babies to enjoy but the doctor and the whole staff are beautiful people inside and out. They treat your fur babies with so much love and respect that if it wasn't for their scrubs you wouldn't be able to tell who is the owner. Doctor Ortiz is amazing and I wouldn't want any other doctor caring for my babies. Thank you all for all you do!!!

I recently moved to the area and am looking for our home vet. I have a very dramatic puppy, and I brought him in today for vaccines and a nail trim. He causes a scene during both and the vet techs and vet herself were so patient and kind with him. The office and rooms were clean and cute and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were happy with our visit and will definitely be using Pet Paradise Animal Hospital and Resort as our home vet.

Today both my dogs have appointments at pet paradise Apopka. As soon as we walked into the clinic we were greeted and helped right away. The nurses are super friendly and very helpful, They care about how my dogs are doing and they will do what they can to make sure they stay healthy. Every time I have an appointment with them I have to wait at least 30 minutes or more after my appointment time before being seen by the vet. They only had one acceptable reason for not seeing me on time and that was due to an emergency that they had to take care of. What's the point of having an appointment if the staff isn't going to adhere to it. No apologies whatsoever except about the medical emergency. What makes them think that their time is more valuable then ours? I don't want to have to change vets again since I only have about a year left with my dog.

This place is the bomb!! The staff is absolutely wonderful. My puppy Trigger ate some small rocks and Dr. Ortiz took Trigger and did everything she possibly could for him. He had to go back 3 days in a row. The 2nd day Dr. Ortiz and a few members of her staff stayed over an hour past closing time to waiting for results from the radiologist. She actually sat in the waiting room with me...she never treated me like a dollar sign. She is very passionate about her job and genuinely loves her patients (the 4 legged ones lol) The reception girls were fantastic! Thank you for saving my fur baby's life!!

My 4 lbs puppy boarded for 4 nights.I was nervous, but the receptionist was gushing with confidence and reassured me he would be fine, although she reported there would be NO staff supervision between 530pm and 0800am.I didn't call to check on him since she had gained my trust... Somewhat...He was returned to me dried gunk in his eyes, dehydrated, with one spot on his backside smelling like a cheap perfume.I had requested and paid 32$ for a bath with ear wash, prior to pick up....They reported having bathed him that morning.His ears were still dirty, his coat soiled and tail matted with some dried grass tangled in it.They are super nice upfront, but now, I am having some doubts about my puppy's treatment??What report card?I did not receive a report card!I had reported my concerns to Courtney, but she was more concerned about defending her staff. Similar to what I am reading on these owner responses, here- super condescending and confrontational!She automatically assumed I wanted money back. No- I never asked for a refund!The owner needs to pay attention to the inconsistent customer service and think about developing some metrics on pet treatment during boarding- That was the purpose of my call.I would not recommend this place!!!

Called to see about an appointment because dog was limping and bleeding from in-between toes and was informed that there were no appointment. Ok fine. So I asked if I could leave a message for the doctor just to see how to best care for this until an appointment later and was told the doctor is too busy to take phone calls. So no one is available to help and the doctor doesn't come in until the afternoons. So disappointing

Daughter took her dog here to be boarded for a wi. This place was recommended by vet. Took his food for the week. When picked him up his bark was very horse and his food was like they didn’t feed him. Bag was almost full. They didn’t let him play. Now vet has to prescribe antibiotics for dog. He is a small beagle. Lost weight while there. Will not take him back. Told vet this

This place is the best! I bring my dog here everyday for day camp and she absolutely loves coming here to play with her friends! I have left her for boarding on occasion and they always treat her so great and I get sent plenty of photos! My dog started limping one day and the hospital staff identified the problem immediately! Dr Carter and her staff performed an amazing surgery on her that fixed her limp and she was flying around the yard again free of pain! She was also recently invited to a doggie birthday party which is adorable! Highly recommend this facility for your furbabies!

They have an amazing doctor called Dr Hass. She did a surgery on one of my guinea pigs few years ago when she worked at the Fountain inn animal clinic. She is one of the only doctors in the upstate that knows how to handle exotics like guinea pigs. She saved the life of my guinea pig Barnabas years ago and today she saved the life of my guinea pig Quinton. And I'd also like to say that the staff is absolutely wonderful. They are friendly, helpful and empathetic. I just know that if you take any of your babies here that they will be safe and taken care of in a loving secure environment.

I boarded my dog for two nights and he LOVED it! I got a couple of cute photos sent to me while i was on vacation as well. I also use them for appointments and my dog recently had surgery with Doctor Carter and he recovered very well from it. I highly recommend bringing your pets here!"

Very nice place, the staff is incredible and are very caring. You can tell that everyone here has animals in a special place in their heart. Highly recommend, I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had a problem. The place is very nice and has a welcoming atmosphere.

I have been coming to Pets Paradise over 20 years. I have shared with Dr. Ortiz many joyful moments with my puppies and some difficult times when those puppies were too old and ready to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Each time I felt the loving, caring, kind and compassionate doctor that makes her unique. I will recommend her a million times and will continue to see her with my grand puppies! :)

All I know is my Roxi and Bruiser are scared to ride in the car but the moment they realize we are going to this place, they can't contain themselves! Trails are going crazy and they're itching to be with the staff! They LOVE this place and the staff is so great! Dr. Ortiz is knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The tech, Shelby is very kind and my dog loved her. I lost trust in vets before due to my previous experience, but Dr. Ortiz and Shelby was nothing but wonderful. I definitely recommend this vet to others.
