I can’t begin to express how happy I am that we went here! Dr. G was awesome and his nurse even more so (forgive me that I forgot her name, lousy memory) the front desk staff were equally as kind and thoughtful! One of the girls even helped us by giving us a jump when my friend evidently left the lights on in the truck! They took such good care of my ShoreT boy and he’s on the road to recovery! I highly recommend them and know your pet is in good hands!! ❤️ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🙏🏻

i went here in hoping to treat my dog for fleas and i was mistaken. all my dogs hair started falling out and the vet lady didn’t even care. they tried to just say that stuff happens sometimes my husky who has so much hair is now loosing it all and i’m left having to spend more money to care for him . they did nothing about it but try to charge me more money. don’t go here!!!

I absolutely have to tell you how amazing my experience was/is here. My 3mo puppy Blaze was not doing well and I brought him in on a Saturday and got immediate help with his fever and tummy issues. He was acting out of character the next Monday and of course he was being dramatic but their concerns stayed consistent and didn't make me feel overconcerned. Now here it is Tuesday and we have a fever again. I feel like a first time Mom calling so much but from the phone call to the greeting to the visit... I felt so validated and comforted that they cared so much. Front desk is always sweet and efficient. David is amazing and very knowledgeable but compassionate with you as an owner. They go the extra mile for you and actually listen to you. Super translucent on issues and costs. My baby boy was treated with so much love and respect and the concern shown by anyone walking through that office is comforting. The groomer even knew who he was and the struggle we have had with him and we haven't even talked about grooming yet. This isnt just a vet office it's a family and I'm really happy Blaze has somewhere so dependable to go when he needs anything. I really appreciate you all ❤️

Our experience was very frustrating and disappointing, leaving our baby in this pet resort. What is said to be a great place to stay for them turned into our nightmare after picking our goldendoodle, Lady up after a trip. We had paid for her to be combed and brushed, also to be taken a bath…Lady came back home completely matted and had to be completely shaved down because sadly the attention was not given correctly.She also was sent with her personal food from home with more than enough to last and came home skinnier than ever.Being out of town our only way of communicating with the resort was through email, and throughout the time that we were out we never received ONE email saying that she was “okay” or that she “wasn’t eating” to us everything was perfectly fine. Being the way we are with her we had family members call and check up and every now and then and the front desk always responded with “if something was wrong we would call.”They were rude and didn’t understand that we trusted them with our baby, and being how we are with her they should understand that phone calls to check up on our dog shouldn’t be seen as an inconvenience, but that’s what it was to them.After seeing how lady was returned to us we went to go speak to the resort and they said all the can do is refund the wash.The $30 wash was not the problem.If money was the issue we wouldn’t have even paid almost $700 for her stay.We left her at a resort thinking it would be best for our princess to get the attention she needed, from a “professional and caring” pet facility.We went to the resort and the one in charge of taking care of the dogs admitted that she did take lady a bath but unfortunately she had another 10 dogs to attend.I feel terrible for my dog because of this terrible experience. Understanding she isn’t the only one being attended, there should’ve been extra hands assisting all the dogs so the customers and the pets can get the attention they all deserve and need.Not even a courtesy call from the manager has been received about the situation.The photos below is when lady was fluffy, and brushed (before resort)And then after being shaved done because there was no other option (after resort)

Heard so many good things about this place but I had the complete opposite experience. I rescued a kitten on 5/14, brought him in the next day to get checked out. I asked the staff to do a full check up, got the $300 kitten package that included all his vaccinations etc. They failed to test for scabies/mange & I contracted it. Mind you, I have 2 dogs & 2 cats that are now at risk for contracting the mange. Just picked him up & was charged another $250. I don’t think that’s very fair considering it was their fault for not doing the test. On top of the money that I spent to see a doctor & be prescribed medications, all I got was an apology. The amount of time, money & frustration Pet Care Center has given me puts a bad taste in my mouth & I will only be returning to get my moneys worth of the kitten package for the vaccines. If I could rate zero stars I would.

We trusted this business with the care of our bulldog in August 2021 while we went out of town, we came back to a call informing us that she was found dead. They basically said “it happens” and shuffled us out the door.To make matters worse, the lady at the front desk was very rude about it and made it a point to comment that it wasn’t her fault. We weren’t being rude we were simply distraught. In any case, we never heard from them again. They still charged us full price for basically neglecting our dog to death. Never called to check on us despite our dog having died at their facility, on their watch. Our other dog was visibly shaken after that stay, I’m not sure if it was from witnessing the death of his sister or from whatever else happened at pet care center of Apopka, but he wasn’t right for a good month after staying at that place. It is worth mentioning that we live nearby this place (unfortunately) and every night the dogs are barking desperately. You can tell that they haven’t seen humans in a while from the way they bark. If you board your pet here, just know that they will simply toss it in a cage and forget about them for extended periods of time. Long enough for them to die and not be noticed until many hours later.

Friendly main desk staff… but I didn’t like that they called us to a designated exam room just to take the dog to a private room where I didn’t have access or view to examine her. What’s the point of the first room then? After that the vet assistant come to tell me everything they have to do with the extensive list of services and prices , my doggy was stomach sick and I never saw what kind of exams they did in the back room. This was the first and last time I took her there. Her regular vet always treat her in front of us. From an over $400 bill I asked exclusively for the medicine that will be needed for her stomach issue and I ended up paying around $160. Everything else was studies and blood work they want to do to find out if they need it to prevent anything else.I understand their interest on my baby well being and $$ but I told them since the very beginning that she was scheduled for a routine visit at her regular Vet. They knew this was an emergency visit just in the meantime and still.It’s convenient to have this location schedule but not the service.

I’ve been taking my cane corso here ever since he was 8 weeks old. They have been great & their puppy packages paid for itself! David has always made us feel very comfortable with bringing our dog here. I like how they always present me options to care instead of the most expensive thing. The new Doctor is very nice & explains things throughly. I plan on continuing my business with this practice for years to come.

Just want to make a shoutout to the staff at Pet Care Center of Apopka. HAT OFF TO ALL OF YOU!!Your staff, McKenna (reception) and David (technician) hands down are some of the best!!!I am a retired vet tech of over 27 years, finding an animal hospital that treats your pets as well as you would is extremely difficult.I had an emergency with my cat, he had a bladder infection that turned into an emergency over night.I called our established vet (leaving out the name on purpose) at 7am and told them what was going on. They without an ounce of care, said we can’t see him.My husband and I frantically grab up our kitty and thought we will just drive to the nearest Vet.We thought we had lost our kitty to a ruptured bladder and that he was in terrible pain.We came to Pet Care Center of Apopka and was greeted by McKenna. She triaged our concerns and alerted the vet tech. David came immediately ti the lobby and took out kitty ti the back to get his vitals.I felt a calm come over me. I knew that great care was going to be given to our cat with that kind of quickness.Now understand that this hospital opens early and the staff gets everything ready at the hospital for Dr. Krishna Gadiyaram (Dr.G) to enter and begin his day.David was on point! He triaged, assessed, and even began diagnostics on Lance and had them ready for Dr.G when he came in.This quickness and thoughtfulness is rare. Very rare!You have one of the best group of animal care specialists I have ever seen since retiring from the vet field!!!!!I can’t say enough praise. Thank you. Thank you everyone!Lance is home now and doing very well.❤️🐈‍⬛He thanks you too!!🐈‍⬛❤️Our little black lion 🦁 is safe and happy to have his new veterinary hospital!

Wow I can’t say enough good things about this place. What an amazing experience at Pet Care Center of Apopka. First of all we had an emergency with our dog and they took us in right away when everyone else turned us away. Then the doctor was professional and direct in his diagnosis. I also want to take the time to thank the staff and especially Madison who had hands on with our dog Millo. Very clean clinic so don’t hesitate to bring your pet into this clinic.

Not only was the front desk lady nice, she really showed compassion for pets. Vet was nice, explained everything and even the assistant that saw us first in the room was very informative with different options for us and at the end of the appointment it was all affordable. We would recommend this place for sure.

They were very kind and very accommodating. I had a very sick cat I thought I needed to euthanize. My vet of 2 yrs said they couldn't fit me in, and I could drop him off, but I couldn't stay. Heartless. This vet not only made room for me. But gave me some suggestions. Try something first, and it worked. It is now 4 days later and I still have my cat with me.. I will be bringing the rest of my animals here also!!!!!

I have a 7 week old kitten Named RocketShip. He became very congested and sneezing and wasn't thriving as much as his sister. She passed him in size by almost double. So this morning I noticed when he was sleeping that he wasn't breathing right. So I called around, (being basically homeless and unemployed) it's hard to find anyone who will listen or even offer to help you. Well I had my appt at 5pm, the staff went above and beyond to take care of any questions I had or concerns I had. I not only got my baby seen, but they trimmed his nails, cleaned his ears, dewormed him, and gave me 2 weeks of antibiotics and a topical flea prevention medication. And my entire bill was completely free. I could not be more satisfied with the help and understanding I got from this place. Thank you so much Pet Care Center Of Apopka

My review is primarily based on issues with those that answer the phone and check in. Some say that may not be fair but, I think it is a vital part of the service.We were needing to board our 2 pups for a week. Approximately 2 weeks in advance, I call to confirm the necessary vaccines. We have a care package with our primary vet so, wanted to ensure we got the necessary vaccines ahead of time utizing our free vaccines. I made sure we had what was expected and then about a week out, I emailed the records for both. I was told over the phone that everything was fine and they had all that was needed.The day I dropped them off I heard something different. On top of the boarding fee, I had to pay an additional $200 for vaccines, one I never even heard of. Again, this review is about the front desk but, as you can see, that small part plays a big role in our experience. It felt like an opportunity to up-charge. Then again, maybe it was just ignorance/uneducated of the front desk. Nevertheless, it resulted in a poor, costly, experience.

If I could rate,I would give no stars!I had been here a few times prior to this visit. And I thought they were ok.My dog had a really bad ear infection. I paid about 370 for all the medications, exam…etc.The doc who took care of me, I believe was an intern, because I’d never seen him before. He told me I could come back if I didn’t feel comfortable putting the solution in my dog’s ear. He made it seem like I didn’t have to pay for anything!I come back 2 weeks later with the medication that I had already bought. The doc who took care of me 2 weeks prior wasn’t there. I don’t even know who took care of me because I didn’t even speak with a doctor. So either the receptionist or the vet technicians took care of me. They took my dog in the back. Not even 5 min, they come back and say I’m all set. I start walking out the door, and they said I had to pay.I was shocked, because I was led to believe that I didn’t have to pay. The bill was close to a hundred dollars. They charged me for a recheck exam, ear cleaning, and medicated ears/eyes. Which nobody discussed with me prior to doing, and I only went to have them put solution in my dogs ear, that I had already purchased. And I told the lady upfront, she gave me attitude. So I have never gone back since.

This vet office is just absolutely wonderful! The staff is very friendly and polite, not to mention knowledgeable. The vet, Dr. has impeccable bedside manners. They are gentle with your animals. They are very kind and understanding of the needs of your animals. They listen to what you have to say about what's going on with your animal. Would definitely recommend this vet to anyone! Not to mention reasonably priced.

I recently moved to Apopka and needed to find a vet for my cat's annual care and I hit the jackpot with Pet Care Center of Apopka. My cat is the other half of my heart and she hates going to the vet but the staff took really good care of her and made everything really easy. I'm very happy I found this place. 10/10 and I give them my highest recommendation. You can absolutely trust them with your pet's care.

Dr. G is compassionate and clear with his recommendations and treatment options. I had several questions about my pup after the being diagnosed that he has cancer in his eye. He took the time to answer questions/concerns and give us guidance on what to expect and how we can help our pup adjust to having only one eye after having the bad one removed. He and his team really helped make a bad situation not as scary. We'll be using their boarding facility next week for Thanksgiving so I'll update our review with our experience with boarding later!

I personally had a terrible experience with Dr Greer at his other facility, River Oaks, years ago . I took my German Shepherd in for a leg injury. They splinted it and talked me into daily laser therapy. His leg got worse and one night I cut the splint off to find that his leg was necrotic and rotted to the bone. The emergency vet saved his leg. When I confronted Dr Greer the next morning, he insisted they were removing the splint daily to do the therapy and it “didn’t look like that” when he was with them. Really? You expect me to believe my dog’s leg rotted in ONE day? I was livid. Filed a complaint with veterinary board.More recently, two huskies escaped while being boarded at Pat Care Center of Apopka and crossed a busy road and we found them in our neighborhood.This past week, a family friend’s bulldog died while being boarded at Pet Care Center of Apopka. They said he “hyperventilated”. Whaaaaat?????I would not trust him or his staff with any animal I loved and would never send anyone to this center or the location at River Oaks.

Per care center has been great. My 15 year old dachshund was having neck issues and their VOM treatments have helped greatly with her pain. I also boarded her there recently and they were very nice and she didn’t seem traumatized after like she has with other boarding facilities, so I think she enjoyed herself!

Been here three times. The doctors themselves seem like good people, but the visits leave much to be desired. The rooms could be much cleaner. (dirty surfaces, animal hair on the floor, and upon one of our visits there was a huge hairball on the floor) One of the vet assistants (who we’ve seen twice) has somewhat of an abrasive personality and borderline mistreated our dog. She has trauma from spaying so she whines a lot now/ distrusts people. Not only did the vet assistant complain and seem agitated because of the wining, but she didn’t even bother to hand our dog to us afterwards. She just opened the door, dropped the leash, and let her run to us scared. Very disappointed with the lack of compassion shown here. Overall, we will be seeking a new vet with higher quality care.

Beautiful. We have boarded our dog here as well as do our annual visits. The prices are extremely competitive and lower than many.The facility is beautiful and puts your mind at ease to know your pup is in a comfortable place with people who care. The boarding features a pool, nature walk area, and some runs that include a tv!The staff is incredible. They really take the time to care for your pet as if it were their own. Highly recommend for regular care and boarding.
