Standing at the counter to do a money order, and witnessed six people returning products that were bad or expired. This tells me that this particular Publix does not often rotate their food. Not to mention the unprofessional attitude of the Deli manager Kori and the another attending manager along with 3 associates behind the counter. I left feeling so angry because of the way they refused to service my request for western union. They made me very uncomfortable by their side conversation about the way I looked. Emilia even asked me “what’s your occupation” because of the amount I was requesting. WOW, did I think the south changed. What an experience!

I asked an employee Thomas if he could make me a salad that my girlfriend sent me to Publix to get. He enthusiastically said yes and made me a FRESH salad that my girlfriend enjoyed! I could tell from his facial expressions and body language that it was truly his pleasure! Thank you Thomas for not making me feel like I wasn’t asking for too much. I appreciate your excellent customer service.

I feel like a Karen for even writing this because I love Publix and I always shop there, but this specific location has a few issues that need to be addressed. I have had 5 total experiences at this Publix and 4 of them were below par. Including 35 minute wait times in deli, wrong sub orders constantly, etc. what actually pushed me to write this review was a sub I ordered about 20 minutes ago being a chicken tender sub. The chicken had no breading and the sub wasn’t toasted upon request. Kind of a kick in the nuts after the last 3 orders being wrong as well

I come here to purchase fresh Maine lobsters for dinner. I love coming here since everyone is so friendly and helpful. They keep Publix aisle very clean and organized. The meat is also fresh and the produce as well.

Had 3 prescriptions to pick up. Had to drive further to this store because the closer stores did not have one of them. At pickup was given instructions for all 3 meds. All 3 were on the receipt but got home and the most important med I had to drive further to get was not in the bag. Had to drive back again. I feel like I should be given a store gift card for my inconvenience.

Everyone talks about Publix cakes being delicious.. I had one custom made and it was DRY. No flavor. Icing was okay.. that’s all. Worse than Walmart, I’m so disappointed. Never again.

Out of all the Publix stores that surround us, this specific store is our go-to and also my son’s family. We love the pharmacists and the register employees. When I use the self checkouts and have a problem, an employee immediately helps.

Came in at 9:32 and deli was already packed up, cleaned and shut down. I was under the impression they stayed open until 10pm, with the rest of the store. It seems that this location, especially the deli, could use better management. Considering all the negative reviews are with the deli, I would hope someone from corporate would step in and do something.

Deli at 12pm 02-01-24 failed to keep the condiments side stocked and when the manager in charged was asked about it failed to do anything or put any effort into helping the customer. Far from the Pleasant experience, I’m used to receiving from Publix.

I asked the deli guy for chicken tenders when I clearly see fresh tenders and he said I have to wait 2 hours! 2 hours for chicken tenders!!! Worst Publix ever!!! Ovoid going here! Get new management! They are not for the customer at this location!!! They do what they want! Bad service and very unhappy.

Publix is the only place to shop. I remember when they had the little buggies when we were kids, so we could help with the grocery shopping. I still love getting on the scale when I leave. And you can't forget your PubSub.

Awesome customer service. But sadly the deli is always understaffed. Also they are slow but friendly. Seems like one is always slicing meat for prepacked boars head. I feel so sorry for the deli employees. They are nice but slow. Anyway the store is clean and staff is helpful.

We were in the area and decided to buy a sub at the deli. Mrs Christina was so sweet and kind. She made us the most delicious sandwiches while being so caring. She really seems to like her job because as customers, we were happy!

Lousy management! My home was just flooded out by hurricane I was happy to see they were open went inside to money services where about 5 employees we’re huddled laughing it up with a manager stood at the register where a young girl came over told her I needed a money order she said okay how much I told her the amount she then looked over to the group for help when the manager walked over and said oh there’s no paper we had to take it out last night so he proceeded to the register grabs some keys she says we have to get some paper so I waited a cell phone rings she picks it up another guy from the huddle grabs it walks away so management finally comes back out plays with the machine for about 5 more minutes at this point other cx are lined up then says oh ma’am I’m sorry our paper machine is not working I don’t know what they did to it last night..first of all it’s 5 pm in the evening it’s your job to ensure things are working correctly once you started your shift! How early did you waste my time and made me feel even more terrible that I was already having a bad day all that time you spent there laughing and joking around with your employees. You could’ve been making sure your machines were working properly for financial services. People are already having a rough time after the hurricane.

I would like to thank all the people that I come in contact with, daily, at this supermarket on 41 and Apollo Beach Blvd. From the sweet gentleman who makes it a point to stop, while he is working in the parking lot, to be sweet and try to say hello to my sweet little girl. To the sweet lady who works in the bakery, and gives a free cookie to my daughter,every day, I would like to say thank you. It feels like almost every point of contact, with the outstanding staff working at this location, has been thought of. I however, need to do some work. All these people who help us, eagerly and honestly from their heart, daily, are very appreciated. It is why we come here. Honestly, I need to start remembering the names of these great people who help me daily. I want my daughter to see that. I am from Las Vegas Nevada. Hospitality has been my career, my whole life. Making others feel welcome, valued, loved and considered. Remembering their names as well. Why wouldn't that work both ways, between customer and client, AND vice versa? That has been my goal in my Career as a bartender, to be an ear, an eye, whatever my customers needed, individually, not as a whole, to ensure their own happiness at my place of employment. Isn't this the point of life? To value others and make them feel such a thing? I believe we may all have fallen trap to the idea that we need to tell on one another. To make a mean post, publicly, in a safe space, about the small instances where a company failed us, instead of focusing on the larger efforts, that we may not see sometimes. Thank you to everyone who has noticed us and continues to notice us and make us feel special here. Your desire to make my wife, my daughter and myself feel welcome and cared about, is felt, so we come back here every day. When I am walking at the park with Kalia, I can use the free cookie at Publix as a way to get her to calm down. Something to look forward to when she is throwing a tantrum. This sort of brand of hospitality doesn't always come so easily where I'm from, the west coast. We are just as caring, but we do not have Publix supermarkets there. I wish we did. Thank you for taking the time to, as a whole company, nail the idea of hospitality. It's amazing and we truly appreciate you. There are also pictures of the South Shore location that I have attached. Both locations I go to do the same wonderful things for us. My wife, as well as my daughter and myself want to say Thank you! Excellent Job ❤️.
