Loved the facility it is very clean and organized & the staff is very friendly and helpful. Took my fur baby for boarding, I felt very comfortable leaving him there. As I walked in I got a view of the pool area, and a group of dogs that seemed to be having a great time.I really liked having access to the outdoor cameras, I was able to see my big boy playing by the pool and being petted.I will definitely bring him back in the future. This facility is the closed thing to home away from home without having to pay resort range prices.

If I could give I would give them 0 star. This was my second time I took my pet to this place and this is what they did. My first visit I gave them the heads up about not using any clippers around his neckline or ears, he snaps or freaks out in short he doesn’t like it. In the first place this was total negligence and it could his life. There was no apology whatsoever. Sabrina who was the manager at the veterinary took care of the entire situation and helped me with my pet. All I would say is if you want your pet groomed take them to other places but not here.PLEASE DON’T TAKE YOUR PET HERE !!

Hello it’s 2:11am as I’m writing this. DOG OWNERS your dogs are being IGNORED and BARKING ALL NIGHT long. They are not being cared for at all. These dogs sound like they are outside at this very moment, they way they sound when they are outside during the day is how it sounds at night. You should be concerned that your dogs are being left outside to cry.* the videos I’m sharing is only hours worth of the pups crying, howling, they crate them on the other side now so that we can’t take videos of them.We live in the apartments and have a clear view of the dogs all day and night long. They said they only keep the dogs outside from 9:00am - 5:00pm. These people literally CRATE the dogs OUTSIDE all day AND NIGHT and the dogs bark ALL AND NIGHT day long since they are crated. I do see them give them “play time” for a break …. But we work from home and watch EVERYTHING. That is not enough! they literally crate them all day.I called to complain about the dogs well being. Sure enough since I called I noticed they are crating the dogs ON THE OTHER side facing the main road so the apartments can’t see and take videos!Support this business if you want your pup to be crated all day. It was so sad to go on a walk and see them all in cages facing the road. No wonder they won’t stop barking! We have a dog and would never take him to this place so he can be crated all day. You’ve been warned. I will be adding photos and videos soon.

I took my dog to the Wesley Chapel location for a free day to see how he liked it. I had a wonderful experience that time so I decided to board him at the Apollo Beach location when I went on vacation recently. He stayed in the VIP Indoor/Outdoor room with 24 hr video cam access. Apparently, they do not count on someone viewing the footage at all hours of the day & for long periods of time as my disabled mother was able to do while I was on vacation. He was supposed to receive “free” ice cream daily. We never once witnessed that occur. They do not allow you to bring toys from home or bedding, which I understand, but he had nothing to do and nothing to make him feel at ease as he sat in his room alone practically all day. They are supposed to turn the lights off at 8pm, but they were off at 7pm one night & 6pm another. He did not have constant access to the outdoor part of his suite for most of the day which they claimed was due to the heat. He was not allowed to play with other dogs since he is still intact. At the other location, they did let him play with another dog after calling to ask if it was ok with all parties. He was supposed to receive a free bath the day before I picked him up, but we never saw him taken out of the room for bathing. They promise a lot, but do not deliver and think no one will know. Not sure if it is just this location or all of the Pet Paradise facilities, but I say think twice before boarding your pet here.

I'm so happy to have found Pet Paradise. They take amazing care of my dog, Stanley, and greet him by name right when we walk in the door. We use it as a one-stop shop for all his needs - day camp, boarding, grooming & vet care. You can tell the staff loves their job and make it a happy and safe place for your fur babies. My favorite part is that I can use the app to check in on Stanley with the day camp cameras. Thank you all so much for taking such great care of my baby boy!

This facility is AMAZING! They know my dog by his name every time he walks through the door and he gets so excited to see them. I can say that I am very happy that they are not taking dogs who had expired vaccines, it’s keeping my dog healthy. If you are upset that they can’t take your dog because of vaccines then maybe you should stay up to date on yours dog’s vaccines, especially if you know they have an upcoming appointment. The dogs are not getting ignored, they are being played with from 9-5 and in the pool or the yards with a person at all times. Now they are dogs, they will bark, but my dog barks when he is happy to see people so barking isn’t always a bad thing. I never feel like they are ignoring him, and they even have cameras you can watch the fur babies on!The staff is absolutely amazing, like I said they know who my dog is and treat him like their own. They kept me updated on their any time I asked and they even send updates with pictures if you pay for it, and it was 100% worth it! I will always pick this place over any other. Honestly I wish there was a resort like this for me!

To all those here to write a review about the barking - you live in an apartment, don't like it? Move.I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I was skeptical at first after reading the reviews of disgruntled neighbors surrounding the facility - but as a pet parent I can assure you this place has your pets best interest at heart. It had been over a year since we boarded our dog and we were unsure of how she would react to being in a new boarding facility. The office was extremely communicative when it came time to introduce her for group play. We watched on the cameras as they did it the RIGHT way. They introduced her one by one until she was comfortable around that many dogs. They even called shortly after to tell us how she did.Extremely organized, affordable, and great staff. Will be taking our dog here exclusively now.

My Belgium Malinois (Ranger) requires individual play/care because he is an alpha male around other large dogs. Many doggie daycamps in the area would not take him. The staff at Pet Paradise take good care of him and understand his individual needs.

Wouldn't take dog in for a grooming because 1 shot was 2 weeks over due, which was distemper on a dog that loves all. Went in for A GROOMING, not boarding. Everyone else takes dog in no problem. Awful way to start new business.Decided to give this place a try as it's closer to our home. Will not return, staying with original groomer off 301, worth the drive.

This place is AMAZING. Super friendly and professional staff. Very clean facility. The staff know who the dogs are by name and personality. They are not "just another dog" to them. telling the owners about their dogs stay in detail. They really care about the fur babies. Seeing them play ALL day in large yards and the pool they clean every day is so heartwarming. Always watching the dogs keeping them safe and happy. And should anything happen a on site vet is there to check them within seconds. I would trust them to keep my dogs healthy and happy more then my own family. Everybody can even pull up their cameras 24/7 to watch the dogs and see the staff taking care of them. Its the best place to entrust your babies to ever.

I will definitely be back! The Resort staff is very friendly and professional. They all seem to really care about the well-being of our dogs.I loved learning about the options they have according to the dog's needs to go out and play outside all day or to rest in their room and go out only if they want (indoor/outdoor rooms). They have cameras available on their website for anyone who wants to see the dogs while playing outside. The dogs look happy and well cared for.

We have a 1 1/2 Year old, sweet goldendoodle. Today was his third visit to this facility for a half day at the doggie day camp. The facility is a very nice resort with a pool and kept very clean. Unfortunately, our pup is a bit introverted with new settings and people. He is social at dog parks and visitors to our home as long as attempts are made to integrate him.We were hopeful that he would enjoy the pool and interaction with other dogs and happy the resort was close by. One of the benefits of pet paradise is they have video cameras that you can monitor and watch your pet. After watching the video feed for at least half of his 1 1/2 hour visit today, we witnessed him feeling somewhat isolated, sitting by himself rather than with the group of dogs, sometimes in a corner, sometimes in the pool by himself and sometimes standing up against the windows looking inside at people. There did not seem to be any attempt by the handler in the area with the dogs to comfort him or get him to interact in any way, in other words, she simply left him by himself. We cut his 4-Hour visit short and went to pick him up and I mentioned this to the person at the front desk. Her response was, "there's only so much human interaction can do!". There is probably a difference between some human interaction and no human interaction. That was a completely improper response from my point of view because we had watched the live video feed for much of the time he was there and there was ZERO human interaction except for ushering dogs in and out of the space. Hopefully this is not the common practice of this business and only a failure on a few employees as the concept and facility is good. Several of the other dogs were happy and playful and knowing our pup, with a little guidance and human interaction would have fit in but that did not seem to be a priority of both the front desk person or the handler in the play area.

Never again.1st red flag- uploaded vet records via email and their app. They never updated the dog’s profile. Not even a month later. Camp Bowwow updates records the same day. So I should have known just by the initial disorganization.2nd issue-Go to drop dogs off for the “free” first nights boarding. I brought their vac records. Lady checking them in seemed new and had to Google their Bordetella shot because she didn’t recognize the way it was written/spelled. That had me worried because she was telling me it wasn’t bordetalla when I know for a fact it is. My dogs get it every 6 months. So she needs to be retrained. Finally I left and dropped my dogs off.3rd issue-I checked the cameras multiple times and I never once saw my dogs. At camp bowwow I can see them play all day long. So I knew my dogs were just locked up the entire time. They always have a blast at Camp Bowwow so that made me sad for them.4th issue-Going to pick up around 3pm. They inform my husband that the “free night” for new customers isn’t really free and try to charge him $60. $20 charge per dog for checking out past 12 and $10 charge per dog for a freaking HEAT FEE. What? For one- I was never informed there would be any charge during drop off. I wasn’t given any paperwork at all. No new client pamphlet or anything. Just went over shots, signed a disclosure for my senior dog in case she got hurt and went over how much to feed. That is it! So I was surprised when my husband called to say that it was $60 when they advertised free.5th issue- assistant manager came out and told my husband that I should of received a pamphlet with the fees on them when I dropped the dogs off(I didn’t). The girl checking me in didn’t even know about Bordatella. So he refused to pay since they are just trying to scam us and the assistant manager told the staff to “NEVER allow our dogs to come back”. lolI would never drop my dogs off here again. Not even if you payed me. They are completely disorganized and unprofessional. Going back to Camp Bowwow. I should have never tried another place but it was closer to us. Run away from this place.

This was our first time boarding our dog at Pet Paradise and the service was great. Our dog did not come home sick, and we appreciated that she came back with the feeding instructions that was in her bag along with the treats and a few of the bottled waters(which to me means that instructions were followed about the water). They provide all the bedding and bowls so that’s a plus in that there’s less to lug. We will definitely bring our dog back.

I drive by this place all the time so I thought I’d try it out for my Golden Retriever. I signed him up for his first day online and uploaded his shot records. Although I live nearby, with traffic thru the neighborhood it took me 25 min to get there (and another 25 min to get home). When I got there, the staff member told me she reviewed his shots and she saw he was missing Bordatella. I understand the importance of it and understood why he couldn’t come today. It would have just been nice if someone would have called me before I drove all the way there. She did try to call the vet to double check but they were closed. It just really sucks because if someone would have called me before hand I could have double checked his paperwork and known to not bring him and waste my time. Pretty disappointed. And my dog was too when he had to get back in the car and go home.

We took Trevor for a free day of day camp at Pet Paradise in Apollo Beach. Wanted to see how he did and if this could be somewhere we would feel safe leaving our boy. He seemed to LOVE it. We could see him on camera, yes, we are those people !! He got a great report card and now he's unconscious!!! LolSet up a reservation for boarding when I was picking him up today. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. They all seem to really love the animals. Thank you for making us feel we can leave our fur baby without too much worry.

Highly Recommend!!!Me and my fur babies love Pet Paradise! The facility is AMAZING and very clean! The staff is helpful and friendly. The patience and compassion they showed when welcoming my two nervous pups, was more than I could ask for. Pet Paradise has given me the peace of mind to know they are truly being taken care of, while at the same time, giving them the social interaction with other dogs they need.

Had two of my dogs here for a bath. Both were still wet at pick up. The staff explains to me that it’s a washing service only…I really can’t fathom what kind of bathing service they do here that doesn’t include proper drying afterwards…I’m a resident at the waterset community and it’s unfortunate that I won’t be taking my pups here anymore for anything.

Super clean and the staff is Amazing. I did read other reviews before we booked there.1. Dogs Bark. It's a fact of life. They play, they run, they eat they poop and some do get crated.2. My dogs were very happy and well taken care of.They came back clean and exhausted. My 2 favorite things.3. What kind of person would wish someone to go out of buisness? That is an absolute horrible thing to say.Thank you for taking care of our pups. We will be back!:-)

Updating my post:Woke up to dogs barking again at 6am (today’s date: Mar. 21). Called the facility to let them know I am a resident at apt complex across the street and woken up to dogs barking and asked why the dogs are out at 6am. The women who answered responded with “well we just got in and we are cleaning the dogs rooms” with no apologies for the disturbance and in a manner as to say how we’ll deal with it who cares. Yet people still leave their dogs overnight with these facility. Temp out right now is 54 degrees and I per faculties dogs are not let out before 9am. No care for animals or people living close by who have to hear the barking before the sun is even out. What is being said in this review is true. I live in the apartment across the way. Today is Sunday morning on 1/7/24 and the time now is 6:15 and I have been hearing the dogs parking since 5:45am. They have them in the outside gated area all the time and leave them there barking, groaning and crying all day and all hours of the night and in the cold and we have had a colder winter than normal. This place is a prison for dogs. I am not a complaining resident across the street as some ignorant reviewers have said who probably are affiliated with the owners or just self centered, I am a pet mom and love animals and just called them to report that I hear the poor dogs crying. They aren’t suppose to be left out there at 5:30/5:45am. It’s dark out still and can be very scary for them to be out at this time which still appears as night so it’s no wonder why they are barking and crying. I see how the dogs are being treated and It’s heartbreaking. Something is wrong with this place and residents who love animals notice and care which is why we are whistle blowing and speaking out. Do not leave your dog to board in this place overnight especially on the weekends. Every word mentioned in this review by Ace below is the truth. As a dog mom I would never put my baby in this place based on what I have witnessed so far. It’s heartbreaking.Review by Ace:“We live in the apartments and have a clear view of the dogs all day and night long. They said they only keep the dogs outside from 9:00am - 5:00pm. I read some of the 1 star reviews below and feel like I need to speak up for this facility. I recognize most of those bad reviews are disgruntled neighbors from the apartments next door. I get it….dogs barking all day can be very annoying. But they are dogs - if they hear one dog bark, they all bark. Even at home my dog will bark when she hears another dog barking in our neighborhood. However, this is the best doggy day care/boarding in the area. And the fact that they also have grooming & vet care in one makes it so convenient. The location in the neighborhood is also a big plus for me because I can drop off my dog on the way to work.To address some of the false claims below:Cleanliness - this place DOES NOT STINK! It’s super clean. In fact, if you smell anything it’s cleaning products. I toured the whole facility twice and saw the staff constantly cleaning. You can also watch a live stream from every area and see the staff cleaning.Crating - the claim that they crate your dogs all day is false. The outdoor “crates” mentioned are private dog runs for the suites. They’re allowed to go outside in pleasant conditions. Pet parents have the option to add on day care or 1x1 play time for their boarded pets, if they wish. They have an endless supply of fresh water and raised cots.Day care - top notch ⭐️ Small and large dogs are separated and allowed indoor & outdoor access with constant supervision. I absolutely love watching my dog in the live stream (and often get too distracted when I should be working). My dog absolutely loves it here! She’s made lots of doggy friends and loves sitting on the staff’s lap for pets. She loves going in the pool and playing with the water hose. I see this for myself and know she’s safe, entertained and building strong social skills.Safety - I’m actually very relieved to see Pet Paradise turned away dogs that are not up to date on vaccines. I do not sympathize with those comments at all, even if you’re only 2 weeks past due. I’ve never heard of any place that allows that anywhere. But, if so, they are high risk, especially with the rise in the novel canine respiratory illness spreading across the country. Sure, kennel cough can still happen with vaccines, because vaccines may not catch every variant. Just like the flu shot. So, if your dog is elderly or in poor health, maybe you shouldn’t bring them around other dogs. So, thank you Pet Paradise for doing the right thing!Staff - WOW they are all super friendly. Every time they see my dog they know her name and welcome her with excitement. Again, I see them play with her and give belly rubs on the cameras. Please keep in mind, this is a new facility, so they’re still learning and training. Give them a break if they make a mistake.Hours - They have the best hours of operation, which is very helpful for those who have early or late work hours. Now my reason for not giving them 5⭐️:Large dog pool - I really wish they would allow the small dogs an opportunity to swim in the big pool. Call it “small dog swim only” for an hour. My dog loves to swim and does so all the time at the martini bar in St Pete (that’s a 3 foot pool). If you’re concerned about them drowning, allow us to bring life preserver vests (or stock your own). This is good exercise for the dogs and wears them out.Prices - This place is pricey, but you can see why. This place is a literal resort. I wish you would offer monthly memberships because I’d go there more frequently. That’s it for my “bad” reviews. Seriously, I am extremely particular about my dog’s care. If you are too, go check this place out.

PLEASE! Do something to manage dogs barking at 6 am. All dogs starts barking at the same time at 6 am EVERY SINGLE DAY. And nobody tries to calm them down. I understand it’s hard to control dogs, but may be there is a way with adding some extra staff. We live right near the place and the contagious barking ruins our life. Thank you.

This is the worst thing to open in Apollo Beach. The continuous barking is atrocious. The dogs seem miserable and the staff doesn’t do anything to comfort them. I went down there and spoke to the staff about my concern for their welfare, I was dismissed and they said “they’re dogs, they bark”. No thanks. Hope it’s a short lived business.

The employees here go above and beyond for my dog here. They moved her to a quieter wing so she would be more comfortable during her stay. Not to mention the lovely bath they gave her before I picked her up.
