Being from the Northeast, we had always heard about The Piggly Wiggly and wanted to check it out. What a nice little grocery store. The store is very clean, and stocked well. There was several employees asking if we needed any help finding items. We found all but one item that we needed, but was able to substitute it with another. The cashier was friendly and nice to chat with. Our experience was fantastic. 👍🏼👍🏼

Clean store. Stocked well. Friendly staff. Their prices and beef selection is better than the IGA in Carrabelle. We got some nice ribeyes for $25.

They use to be better but service has gone down unfortunately. If you go to find something from the weekly ad the day of or day two they seem to never have what they advertise which is disappointing and they do not honor price checks. The buy one get one free deals are because they are either out of date or close to out of date so be cautious. Read the dates! They never answer their phones either for some reason the mailboxes have been full for 5 years now lol . They never come up and ask if you need help while shopping they almost make you feel as you are a bother to them 😒The crab legs are not worth the sale price as advertised they were horrible old terrible quality don’t spend the money on them trust me they are selling them so cheap because they know they are old really should just throw them away. I’m not sure if they have new management but I shop other places now for better meats too and customer service it does make a difference.

Nice little store with just about everything a snowbird might need for a month or two. But you really need to stock those almond joy cookies in your deli for 5 stars.

Came in today to pick up groceries, 1st time in town as we have just arrived in Carrabelle for the winter. The grocery there is very expensive and ok for an occasional item. It was nice to find a good selection of items in all areas and was pleasantly greeted by a gentleman asking if I needed help finding anything. Younger guy in hot foods was also nice. The produce items could be a little fresher. Only issue encountered was the cashier. I'm putting my bags in the basket to leave and she's checking out the next person pushing her stuff with mine. Fortunately the lady had the courtesy to see if she had her purchases and I had mine. Sorry your cashier is in such a rush. Or sorry if I'm too slow and don't throw my groceries into the basket breaking eggs and spilling my 8 dollar rotisserie chicken juice everywhere.

This store had a lot of very updated product and variety for the size and age of the store. We were very pleased with the availability of products. The staff was friendly, fun and nice. Great music playing as well.

I came through here back in 2019 and saw this Piggly Wiggly. We used to have them in South Texas so I decided to stop in and take a look. It was a nice, clean little store. I wrote this review before, but deleted a lot of reviews in a moment of ???, so I am having to rewrite those that remember that I liked and feel are worth the effort.I did see the negative review about the unhelpful clerk person who ignored Lisa and her mother, and unfortunately that seems to be the way things are going at this time. Small stores are forced to beg for any help that they can get now. I am hoping that the tables will turn and the owners will be able to hire quality people and that the economy will turn up and they will be able to provide good pay for that quality.=========================UPDATE APRIL 3 2023I am hearing news that Piggly Wiggly Stores are closing all over the country. I hope that this is not the case with this little store.

As a local, I have been shopping here for almost 30 years. Since the IGA shut down, they are price gouging. They have a monopoly on groceries. Publix in Tallahassee is now more affordable. Duren’s piggly wiggly in port st. Joe has always been more expensive, but now the apalach pig is higher. Their produce is laughable. Their deli lunch is $8/lb, so a chicken breast, mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll comes to $14-15. It’s cheaper to eat decent food at a restaurant. I feel bad for those who live here without transportation or can’t afford to go elsewhere. They’re who the owner is really hurting.

11 items I had in my buggy rang up at a higher price at the register that advertised on the shelf tags. But that's not unusual. After the clerk checked the shelf and corrected my bill it was 23.62 less than the original. Buy be ware, they count on people not noticing.

I love this store. It has everything you will need - hot deli food (breakfast/lunch) fresh sushi, variety of bakery items, gluten free, vegan options, a wide wine selection, great steaks, etc. It was just recently remodeled inside and it looks great! The managers are always helpful and kind. They ordered me in a special product that I was looking for that they didn't originally have on their shelves. Great customer service + prices are very reasonable!

Store not well organized. Hard to find things and help not that easy to find either. The place except parking lot is clean. The products sold are fresh and in good condition. Selection is limited as it's a small store and prices a bit too high. Typical of a food store that is the only show in town. Some competition would be a good thing.

This is a pretty typical beach town grocery store. They have the essentials, but you're not going to have options. Items are a little pricy across the board, but that's likely just economics.If you are traveling here and have the ability to bring non-perishable and bulk items with you, do so. And then just grab your other essentials when you arrive.There are not a lot of choices, and depending on when you go, not a lot of stock either.That said, I did secure all of the items on my list, including charcoal and other basic grocery items to prepare breakfast and lunch at my rented beach house. It's just a very small, limited, and kind of dirty store attached to a gas station. So manage your expectations accordingly.

Locals hate it when you overwhelm it. Helped a local lady reach the maraschino cherries jar on the top shelf after church on a Sunday. Ms. Helen was very appreciative. Great selection, fun store, helpful staff. 👍👍

Time and time again, I have experience negativity in your store. Being the only full stock grocery in the area, I am forced to shop there often. Today, Friday, February 24, between 2:30 and 3:00pm, I was shopping in the store, an employee was sweeping the aisle but she seemingly was trying to sweep into me purposely. She didn't go the length of the aisle, she approached me several times then as she bumped me, she started grinning as I made a comment about her sweeping into people. She was an Asian/Hispanic with an orange cap, black top and pants. I am 74 years old and my balance oftentimes is not that good. I have elevated Blood Pressure, these kind of tactics are not pleasing. There is certainly rudeness in this store. There are good people too, not everyone is rude. But non English people should take a refresher training. I am assuming it is the custodial dept. I am at the point where I almost don't want to shop but not able to travel to another town more than once a month. This is a complaint, please direct this to the correct office. I had another incident about 2 weeks ago but didn't report. But this was too obvious. Thank you for redirecting my complaint.

Had everything we needed, but the lady who checked us out was obviously not a fan of out of towners. Don't know if that's a sentiment that's shared by the business owner or just the one employee. We got the feeling that it's probably a community wide attitude because even one of the other shoppers was talking with another employee about how she didn't like tourists, loud enough to make sure we could overhear it. Oh well, at least we got the groceries we needed.

Just stopped for gas on our way back to Texas. It was great to see a Piggly Wiggly, since I have not seen one in Texas for years.
