Told clerk I was traveling and needed blood pressure meds. She told that they would text me when it was filled. They are closed now. Haven't heard a word. That was 5 hours ago. I asked around town and was told that was par for the course. Wouldn't recommend.

I had a positive shopping experience at this CVS store. The aisles were nicely arranged, and the store was clean. The pharmacist was helpful too. My only concern is that they lack separate bathrooms for customers. Although the bathroom experience was private, reaching it required navigating through a stock room with items piled high on both sides of the small path, which felt slightly dangerous.

I love this CVS!I do pretty much all my regular shopping, since I can use carepass & coupons! I just started using the pharmacy in the last few weeks & they have been great. Wait times haven't been terrible when calling, & they've been super helpful!

CVS (this location specifically in this case) is horrible!!! They can't get things right when it comes to medication and their machine does not keep the refills straight and always 0 so have to reorder every month and ran out of seizure medication and had a seizure. VERY bad! Change to another! This one risks your health.

Visiting from out of town and had to get a prescription called to this pharmacy. Six hours later, they had my 20 pills ready. I waited patiently for a while, but after receiving attitude, patience wore thin. The store is disgusting and not organized at all. They definitely need a revamp and some extra help.

Only one star to the pharmacy because they would not sell my grandfather any syringes for his diabetes because he does not regularly get his insulin filled there. We are on vacation and happened to be able to stay another two days so he didn’t have enough with him.

I have had a nice experience on the phone and in the store at the pharmacy. Very helpful people, patience with people. Answered questions with patience too. The one pharmacist was on the phone with an elderly lady, I had to wait, which was fine, because she was reassuring the customer that she would take care of it. Then she came and waiton me and apologized for making me wait. Trust me, I didn't mind waiting knowing she was reassuring and taking her time with her on the phone. People need to learn the pharmacist patience and kindness!

The pharmacy incorrectly filled a prescription. They did not call the Prescribing doctor. Go anywhere else.

The worst customer service. Plus for them to be a national chain they were very poorly stocked. I get that they are located in a small town, but that’s no excuse. Thank goodness there is another pharmacy in town.

I normally don't do this, but due to all the negative comments that have been left against this CVS I felt I needed to share. We're visiting from out of state and needed medication. My doctor sent the prescription and in approximately an hour I received a text it was ready for pickup.. Even though the pharmacy was understaffed, the pharmacist was very efficient and friendly. The store was also well stocked and clean.

If you’re headed to CVS in Apalachicola Florida then I highly recommend continuing your drive to Port St Joe’s CVS store. Much better store & service all around. Apalachicola CVS needs a complete overhaul. Rude employees included. Dirty store. Unorganized mess. After making an appointment in advance online and providing loads of personal information. I arrived at the pharmacy for my sons vaccine. The pharmacy tech rudely responded that she was out of vials. Confused, I let her know nicely that I was there for our 6pm appointment to which she rudely responded that she was out of vials and couldn’t help me. No one reached out to me to postpone the appointment. Why make appointments if you aren’t even planning to be prepared for it? Why not contact someone, and let them know there are no vials for their appointment instead of getting unnecessarily rude to me for showing up at an appointment. Upon finding a CVS associate I asked her if she was the manager. She didn’t answer me, instead asked me how she could help. I asked her again to which she responded I am the manager on duty. Great, I explained the situation and all I got was I hope you find an appointment. No one there cares to improve the store, corporate needs to make some major changes and get more involved in their store. They need more support and provide customer service training to be able to help people when they need it so they will actually return. I live in Apalachicola & will gladly take my business to Buy Rite Pharmacy or 25 miles further to CVS in Port St Joe if I have to. Making an appointment at CVS ended up being a waste of time.

Never ever use the pharmacy here. They have no idea what they are doing, will not provide any notification your prescription is ready, and have a minimum hold time of 30 minutes when you call. Worst pharmacy ever.

Coming in from up north, I called CVS because I forgot my medicine at home. Of course insurance wouldn’t cover it because it had just been filled in preparation for our trip. The pharmacist was extremely nice and understanding, she offered to find a discount before I even said anything. RX was filled in about an hour or so. Both of the young women in the pharmacy and the woman in the main store were pleasant, friendly and helpful. It was a good experience at the end of a long trip. Thanks!

To the kind pharmacist and/or tech that quickly filled my prescription today, I thank you! Being on vacation while pregnant and sick is no joke. I appreciate the speediness and understanding of urgency that was needed. - C. Rush

Update on January 25, 2022: To their great discredit, CVS promised to have someone call me about my complaint that the pharmacy tech refused to give me a covid booster shot, because she didn't like me. Did CVS call me back? No, they did not. Below is what happened on January 17. Apparently, the employees of that store have serious issues and, in my opinion, the store should be closed down until they can pull themselves together as a responsible pharmacy. In its current state, it is a danger to the public....I was so shocked by my experience at this cvs that I was shaking when I left. The one pharmacist working there was so out of control that I calmly asked her to calm down. This pharmacist went ballistic on me and refused to give me my scheduled Covid booster shot. The so called manager did nothing and actually blamed me. The whole store in this town should be shut down unless they can find people to work there who are at least halfway normal. Horrible!!In case there is any question that the world's worst pharmacist tech works at the cvs in Apalachicila, FL this is January 17, 2022 and she is the only one working at 2pm.

Always a disappointment when dealing with the Pharmacy. Never is it a simple experience there's a problem with everything or they make things a problem. At that moment your aggravated then able to tell you just go somewhere else to do business. I believe that's the worst part of it all having someone not help or not wanna do there job & refer you go elsewhere.

I needed the antiviral, Paxlovid, for COVID treatment. It was sent to the pharmacy about the time they closed yesterday. We went there immediately after they opened this morning. I stayed in the car, my wife went in. The only person in the pharmacy was the pharmacist. My wife said she was very efficient. She also facilitated getting COVID test kits for free. I was happy to get my Paxlovid rather promptly. BTW I am a pharmacist too. She didn't know that. She has a tough job. Thank you for the great service.

The pharmacist and staff at this store have always been friendly and helpful even on the phone when they have customers waiting in line. Never had a bad experience here unless it was from a rude customer.

The absolutely worst cvs we've ever been!! Had a few simple questions for the pharmacist and she was completely rude and such a jerk!! Unfortunately it's the closest cvs around. Thinking about driving 30 min further just to avoid it!! Horrible!!

WORLDS WORST PHARMACY EVER, the pharmacist was extremely rude to the customer as well at the MA who called from the doctors office to try and assist the customer. I am appalled at the service provided here.

Had to go to a clinic for a severe case of swimmers ear which is very painful. With no Walgreens anywhere close by they recommend this CVS. Got there and they told me that they wouldn’t get to my prescription for hours as they are only doing flu shots. Again, I am in pain which is why I need the ear drops and antibiotics filled and she said too bad you had this happen in a small town. Unreal...It has been hours and still not filled yet and am in pain.

I am now on hold, waiting 20 minutes, for the staff to tell me why my "auto-refill" did not work and when I can get my meds. I do feel bad for the staff, they obviously need more help in the pharmacy dept. I use CVS ONLY because on my part D, they are a preferred pharmacy.

The reviews almost scared us off but this is as ordinary a CVS as you will find. Customer service was fine, employees were nice. I suppose they could stock it better.

Apalachicola (Apalach to us locals) is such a lovely, genteel town and does not deserve this CVS. Rude, contentious staff takes it upon themselves to fill, refill your scripts and charge you when they shouldn't. On the best of days, you will wait, wait in a line of unhappy customers and be barked at when you reach the counter.Happily, a most-friendly pharmacy, Buy Rite Drugs, is just two blocks east. Head there instead -- you won't be disappointed.

New to town and apparently the pharmacist doesn't care about customer service because it's the only CVS within 30 miles. Trust me even my Doctor had issues!

If I could give this a -200000 I definitely would. I turned my prescriptions that I've been prescribed for 6 years August 1st and was told they would both be filled the 3rd I made a call the 3rd to see if they were filling them... I called 3 times and was on hold for 30 mins each time until I hung up. I called two times and hung up both times after waiting 20 mins each time. I called three times Sunday once for 15 mins. No answer. Second for 13. And the third for 56 mins on a ride from Crawfordlle to Eastpoint. I was asked how long I had taken these medications. And I said 6 years. I normally never use cvs. Because I genuinely do not like cvs pharmacy. But these pharmacists take the cake. I witnessed and eavsed dropped a pharmacist whispering into a customers ear about 24 pain pills and the time to come when that pharmacists would be there. So he can pill deal out of the pharmacy!? But can't give me my medicine that is late!? Just go to buy rite or Crawfordlle. These people are crooked and need to be under investigation

At SGI for a week. Two people needed prescriptions filled. One has been waiting for 4 days. The other 3. My wife burned her arm which needs antibiotics and they just won’t fill it. Don’t expect them to get meds filled at all. I doubt there’s actually a pharmacy there. What a joke.

Too bad I couldn't put no stars. The lady at the pharmacy needs to keep her opinions to herself. I just found out I have a mother. I didn't now her bday. The lady said seriously and laughed at me, when I called my step dad. Very rude, had everyone laughing in line. I left an didn't get what my mom needed.
