I’m an over the road truck driver. Took my dog here for a bath, Ashley was the groomer, she didn't do a good job at all cause my dog still stink and shaking hair everywhere. Was told that I could only bring him back into this outlet for a rebath. I told them I was 500 miles away from them and it could be 4 or 5 months before I'm in that area and I might not have my dog on the truck. I couldn't get a refund or a voucher to take him. So I'm out of $38 and still have a stinking hair-sheading dog on my truck until I can take him somewhere deals. Think they would be understanding of my situation as a truck driver. I guess this next time I have to inspect my dog before leaving instead of taking it for granted that he's been bathed right. Frustrated and disappointed on the road.

There is no Proffesionall care for the dogs. Our dog went in for regular grooming. They cut his nails back to the vain. So severe he could barely walk. I don’t know how but his tail is now curved. We had to take him to the vet and he prescribed pain pills. Still waiting on results for his tail to see if it is permanently damage. Pet Smart had no sympathy and simply ignored what they did. If you read my review. Do not take your pet to Per Smart in Altamonte Springs. Don’t let your dog go through the pain ours did.

My dog always appears happy and clean when i pick her up but luckily i only ever purchase a bath and nail trim. The last two times ive gone the groomers on the front that are giving hair trims were so extremely rough and rude to the dogs. It was so intense this last visit I am no longer comfortable bringing my dog there in fear that they may be being rough with her too.

I have always been a regular customer here, but today when my dog had an appointment here, they did not want to receive him (my dog always gets nervous when he goes to the vet or for his haircut and his instinct sometimes is to growl or make him He is going to bite, but after a few seconds he calms down and gains confidence) today my dog got nervous again and tried to "bite" and I said that my dog is a small breed and the man was very rude to me, I tried to explain to them the situation and they only gave me to understand that I should educate my dog better and that when I did, he would return.The fact that he told me that seemed very rude to me, since my dog is polite, but he is a dog that gets nervous and it is normal for him to want to defend himself, not because that simple fact means that he is a rude dog, since If he sees other dogs he is very friendly

This place does not provide any type of comfort nor accountability when making a mistake on a pet grooming. One of the dogs that I have a close relationship with was physically harmed within its process of being groomed. The nails were shaved, too short, causing extreme pain and discomfort to the dog. Please consider my review as a warning for the comfort and well-being of the animals that are being serviced here. We all love our dogs very much, and it is important to provide them with the best quality of care in the most effective way.

Groomers complitly unprofessional. We make an appointment for my cats,then they refer they can work with cat because is close to holidays. Groomers dont know how to work with cats. Dont lose your time,Making an appointment.

This review is of a recent experience of nail grooming that happened to a friend of mine but I personally have never had a good experience even years ago with my dog getting his nails groomed at a different location. This location had no remorse for what happened to my friend Danielle M.’s dog, Enzo. She noticed something horribly wrong then took the time to get an opinion from the vet and when she went back with the facts they did not apologize or take responsibility. Instead excuses were made, management said they would report it higher up but she never got contacted after waiting 72 hours. A dogs nails should not be cut so low to where they are in pain. That is not acceptable. I would tell anyone I know to not trust Petsmart groomers.

I had an appointment for 1:00 today to have my tiny pup bathe. I arrived at 12:55, and there was a line of people just waiting. No one greeted us until 1:21. When I asked how long it would be before my pup was finished I was told 2 1/2 hours. I had specifically made an appointment so that my dog would not have to sit stressed in a cage. I told them that and asked if I could bring her back when it was her time. Still they said, “No”, and said if I didn’t want her caged, I could pay extra for Express Service. Seriously, $50 for a bath that takes no more than 15 minutes. The final straw was watching the first groomer, closest to the register and how she was handling a clients dog, in full view. Twice this medium size dog fell off the table, because of her incompetence. No one seemed concerned about the dog and the owner of this black and white Jack Russel type dog wasn’t there to witness it.I spoke my peace and will bring my dog to Petco, where I had always been satisfied, and have never had issues.This Petsmart has some definite problems . If your pet is like family, please don’t put them at risk at this grooming facility.

It is a good place to get your dog groomed and washed. I would highly recommend express service that speeds up the process and keeps the dog out of the cage. Although one could never be sure what's going on when you leave your dog behind, our dog seems to be ok when we pick her up.

**MUST READ**To say that I am absolutely appalled by this Petsmart location is an understatement. While having a friends dog in the care of “academy trained, safety certified” staff, her dog was injured and he was in immense pain. Not only did this result in follow up with a vet, but the management team has shown no remorse for their actions.While trying to find a plan of action, this Petsmart location has yet to reach out to correct their mistakes.PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS TO PETSMART AS THEY DO NOT TRULY PROVIDE PEOPER CARE!

I had taken my dog here multiple times to get groomed and those visits went fine. I took him in the afternoon of Sunday ,June 10. When we got home, I took him on a walk and noticed he was limping and walking incredibly slow. I started examining his paws and noticed how short his nails were. He would flinch if I got too close to them. When we got home, he started acting lethargic. He would not walk anymore, did not want to eat or evening climb on the bed. The next day I took him to the vet where the vet determined that the groomer DID IN FACT GRIND HIS NAILS BEDS INCREDIBLY SHORT. Following the vet, I went back to petsmart to report his injury and the Salon Lead was in no way apologetic. She instead was defending her groomer, not expressing any sympathy, saying she reviewed the footage and the groomer was "incredibly gentle with him the entire time" and that "the pavement is what caused his pain by filing back the final layer of his nail." They also tied the bandana around his neck so tight that I could not fit a finger though it and had to cut it off. She would not let me show her the photos of his injuries or show me the footage for my own reassurance. She said her higher up, Jason, would reach out and he never did. Do not take your pet here, they only care about the money and not the actual well being of your pet. No one has reached out to me expressing any concern for the pain they caused my dog. It is beyond ridiculous.

Came back 5 hours after dropping my dog off to be groomed and they still hadn't touched him. They said they were behind but come to find out, they just brought extra dogs in in between and cut them first. Its all about the $ for them, guest service is not priority.Very rude about the situation and very unprofessional. Do not recommend at all

My first visit to this store for grooming and met Amethyst, what a wonderful person!!! She made me feel comfortable getting my puppy's grooming done. I usually go to the store in Ocoee but the young that did his grooming moved to Texas and the persons who handled him I was very displeased with, hence the move to Altamonte Springs store... So with that being said special thanks to Amethyst for making both my puppy and myself feel welcomed!! See you again soon!!!🐕😊

As a note: the grooming section opens at 07:00 the actual store opens at 09:00. I went in early to restock and get some needed supplies for pets before I left on a long trip. The people there were super nice and even let me get what I needed before the store actually opened. 100% great people.
