Terrible!! I was trying to find tape for a dryer vent… I walked up every isle in the appliance section and there was not one employee to ask for help. I finally found the tape but was unsure of which one I needed. Still , there was not one employee to ask. I walked up front and five employees were standing by the pickup desk. What the hell… this store is a joke. The only helpful people are the ones at the paint counter. I’ll be driving elsewhere from now on!!

Went to buy Pella windows. He did get back in a week with a price. However on a follow up email he never responded so we went to a different store for better customer service

I have had the worst experience with the Lowes store in Alachua Fl. I ordered a new exterior Pella fiberglass low E windows/sidelights & storm door in 11/2022. Lowes gave updates every two weeks. I thought that was great. Until the time passed that my door should have been in, then that’s when the craziness started happening. I stopped receiving those update calls. I had to start contacting them to get information. On 02/14/2023 I was informed that my special-order door was in and I could now be scheduled for install. That should have been great right NO. My sales guy didn’t have the paperwork filed and when he did file, it was sent to the wrong county. I placed several calls to Lowes after this to find out when my door would be installed but I was given the excuse that they were waiting on my permit to be approved. This was very strange to me because when do you have to get a permit approved? So, on 03/02/2023 I was told they were still waiting on my permit approval. I was also informed that the permit was applied for on 01/06/2023. I inquired about who I could call concerning the permit so I could possibly rush this a long. I was told that Lowes uses a third-party company for the permitting process and that company's name is Permits Plus. I called this company on 03/14/2023 and I spoke to Ms. Lisa, she informed me that the permit paperwork was being processed and it could take up to 4-6 weeks. Finally, on 05/01/2023 I was able to get in contact with Gina through Lowes installation and she gave me the installers information. Which was Helping Hands Rehab. Ms. Gina also emailed this company to ask them to contact me so we could schedule my installation. On 05/04/2023 I was contacted by Joseph which informed me that Helping Hands Rehab would be scheduled. At this point I am tired of all the runaround, but Ms. Cathy from Helping Hands finally called me and I got a date for installation for 05/18/2023 9-10AM. Ok so May 18th comes, and the guy shows up and states he cannot install my door. The guy leaves and I immediately call Lowes and explain what just happened. Lowes calls the company on the line and the company has no idea the man left and is not on the job. Ok so now Ms. Cathy states oh I didn’t know this was a door with sidelights. I know this to not be true because I have the text messages where she asked, and I told her yes this is a door with sidelights. The following day 05/19/2023 @ 8:58AM I called Ms. Cathy because I had not been called back or given a new install date. Ms. Cathy told me that she would call me back because she was out gathering supplies for the guys that were on a job site. I waited for Ms. Cathy's call until around 02:50 PM and I called her back. She again told me the same thing and that she would be giving me a call. I never received that call from Ms. Cathy to reschedule my door install. I decided to contact another company to install my door and I contacted Lowes to inform them I would not be using their installer. On 05/22/2023 and spoke with Thomas about the issues I was having and to get guidance on what I needed to do. Mr. Thomas was very nice and explained, if I didn’t want to use their installer just don’t reschedule with them. Well, I didn’t have to worry because Helping Hands Rehab never called me back anyway to reschedule. So, at this point I contacted Lowes to release my permit and allow All construction and Rehab to take over the permit so my door could be installed. Mr. Padgett installed my door on 05/29/2023 and it was determined that my door was measured too small by 5/16th of an inch. This required the installer to add wood to make my door fit. Salesman sold me this Pella door and my Pella storm door, but the measurements are all off. The installer now must build a larger frame on my brand-new Pella door to install my Pella storm door. I would caution anyone when it comes to buying doors/storm doors. Go somewhere else.

I had stopped visiting Lowes. We had them in Tallahassee and Largo but all 3 locations suffered a lack of employees, poor customer service, employees who aren't educated in the section they work in, etc. This particular location the employees were friendly and helpful but it took a while to get things since they needed a forklift to get things down. I only go to Lowes if Home Depot is out of stock or doesn't carry it.This location had picnic tables on display which were not inspiring confidence.

Today's visit was not the best experience. Service has definitely dropped. Waited over 10 minutes at the service desk to get an online order and then waited another 15 minutes to get the order. Cashier Ebony and employee Jordy were the only employees who helped me with any competency

The staff here is always fantastic! Very kind people always looking for ways they can help which is wonderful. Lately the prices have been absurdly high though, even for just basic items. I know inflation is affecting everyone but when I went to look at plants yesterday there were only 2 varieties of flowers cheaper than $4.97 a piece and the most… interesting prices were for the plant pots. A plain 18” terra cotta pot was over $68. I took a picture out of disbelief. It doesn’t even have a decorative glaze on it! This is a plain clay pot, yikes. The tiniest terra cotta pots were almost $3 for ones so small you that they might be able to fit a baby cactus, if you’re lucky.The high prices aren’t just in the gardening section. I’ve been wanting to repaint my bathroom and because I live maybe 5 minutes from this location I went here to look at paint a couple weeks ago. Nothing decent retailing for under $45/gallon and their high end paint is $78/gallon. I guess my bathroom is staying unpainted.I’ve done a lot of DIY/home improvement projects over the years ands have been watching the prices climb and climb, significantly more so than at other retailers. I live right around the corner but the convenience of this location no longer outweighs the exorbitant prices. The staff is fantastic but I just can’t afford to pay this much for the very basics in home improvement merchandise.

Everyone is always helpful. I particularly appreciate Zach's help with appliances. Although I live closer to another Lowe's, this is my Lowe's of choice because the customer service and product availability just always seem better here.

Absolutely horrible Customer Service at this location. It took 10 days and 4 calls to request a refund for a Same-day delivery that I never received. Each time I called I was told that they would research the issue and call me back with a response. One representative refused to provide her name and disconnected the call without providing a resolution.Very frustrating and it caused an unnecessary delay in my project. As of today, I am still waiting for a refund and/or a response from Lowe's.

Well organized 5 stars, but lowering it to 2 stars today... Had a really bad experience trying to by a dishwasher. 20 days after purchase only to find out that my purchase was never connected to an actual dishwasher, after the install guys tried twice to identify and pick it up. Store kept blaming the install people. Something is breaking within their processes or systems... sad about that

Miss Deanna in the cabinet and countertop section at Lowe’s is the absolute best! She sat down with me and answered all of my questions thoroughly and with ease. Her personality is so pleasant, and she is so nice and made my shopping experience Amazing! She is so knowledgeable, and is so good at her job. I was feeling so stressed out about my kitchen countertops. Highly recommend Deanna for any of your kitchen countertop needs!

Was shopping for a replacement battery for my electric mower. Waited a long time (paged twice on the intercom) for someone to get the battery out of the security locker, only discover they didn't actually have any. Had to go to the Alachua store.

DO NOT TRUST LOWES. 5 stars for the employees. Zero stars for warranty. Lowes and Charbroil do not stand behind lifetime warranty replacement parts. Specifically defined parts, with reciept, original manual and warranty guide. Charbroil discontinued parts, lowes does not care. Big Corp, ruthless.. Now my commercial series Char-Broil has sat unused for 3 years. Incredible disregard.Edit: I spent over $10,000 in 2022 for business office stuff. Lowes responded by closing my Lowes advantage card. I called to ask why, I never missed a payment and always paid in full. They told me the system decided I was purchasing too much and paying off the card too much. Wow12/31/23 - called the number here and was told they would make sure this didn't happen again.. was offered a 25$ appeasement gift card. I respectfully declined.

I have always found the people at this Lowes to be fine for the most part. They are regular people like you and I.However, I have found that the products at Lowes for years have been in steady decline. Tools seem to break easier, things with motors burn up faster, and the latest and greatest event for me is this hot water heater.So yeah, it burned up pretty good.. smelled like it was going to catch fire even though this portion is wired by the manufacturer.I called Lowes out of desperation because after being on hold with the manufacturer's number listed on the water heater for 45 minutes, twice.. I left a callback number and received no call back. I thought... well shoot, what do I do now? I guess I will go to the website that they have listed to try and reach somebody. The website is basically unreachable.. not like.. its a bad layout.. but literally unreachable. Like their servers are down and there is zero internet traffic. I am convinced it might not even exist at this point.Lowes can't give me a refund or exchange unless I get some sort of number from the manufacturer since it is a hot water heater. (even though I have receipt, can look it up by credit card, and it is less than a couple months old before it tried to burn itself to the ground).Needless to say, I am a little salty. Not with the employees at this location, but with Lowes corporate policies and with the quality of their products. I don't expect much out of a billion dollar cash grabbing company, but I expect when I buy something for work it isn't complete garbage. I have found on many recent occasions that this isn't the case. As cheap as people can make it, that's what they put on the shelves for maximum profit. I guess everybody is doing that these days.Either way, I'm probably screwed out of my $600 and nobody probably cares anyway. haha.If I could choose a product that I knew was manufactured with great care and reliable, that's what I would buy. I want the Toyota Corolla of tools/appliances/and hardware. I want to buy it and just have it work for the next 20 years without fail while doing regular maintenance.In conclusion, be weary of anything you purchase from Lowes these days. It may be lower quality than you think you may be putting your livelihood, or maybe even your life, at risk.The financial investments, both immediate and long term in this company might not be what you hope for.Good luck and godspeed.

I used to like Lowes over the orange one, but they're about the same.Still definitely prefer Kobalt over Ryobi...This particular store confuses the heck out of me because all the building materials are in one corner, except plumbing, which is in the complete opposite.

Don't use their 3rd party delivery service. They won't read your delivery notes and if they can't find your house they refund u and Lowes doesn't do a thing to fix the issue or act as if they care. I went right to home depot, ordered same items and they have been delivered without an issue.

Just drove 40 minutes to get some basic lumber and they're completely out again. Every time I go to this store I'm disappointed for some reason or another. They also have a huge lack of personnel on the floor so I've walked the store for an hour and a half on occasion and have seen almost no one working there. No one to ask questions of. Today was my last day at the store.

I got in and found just what I needed. The employees here were very helpful and kind. I had to purchase a few pots for some field work and could not think of the project number for the life of me. Thankfully, the cashier in the garden section was extremely patient and not at all rude. She helped walk me through the transaction and even provided explanations. It's always a good feeling when you've got such a kind person ringing you up. I wouldn't have blamed her had she got upset, but she was the complete opposite. The restroom at this Lowe's was located near the front which was somewhat of a new for me. I'm used to them being in the back. I needed to wash my hands and was surprised when an associate directed me toward the front of the store. This Lowe's is in a pretty good location as well. It's a bit 'tucked away'. I wish I knew the name of the cashier, but I will have to look for the receipt. She was an extremely friendly employee. I went in around 12:20 pm or so, so I'll have to get back to that.

Once again my Service Dog was accosted in Lowes. Lying on the floor at my feet when two pit bulls came after her. One day this will end very badly for Lowe's as they are responsible for allowing out of control dogs in the store and doing nothing about it. Management doesn't care because "they are not responsible for corporate policy". Calling corporate is a joke. Next time I will go straight to the police and an attorney as it's against the law to interfere with a service animal.

This is by far the worst Lowe’s!! I have never had a pleasant experience here. I waited an hour for someone to come unlock the wheelbarrow I bought and nobody ever came. The cashier called for someone multiple times but still nothing ,so I just returned it. I was also interested in buying a large quantity of blackberries but they’re all dead from no water. Every time is a problem here…

Friendly staff. Pretty much like most Lowe’s. The lumber crew is very willing to help load and they have common sense. What I don’t understand is why they don’t have enough lumber carts. Too often I show up and the carts are all full of internet orders and you might be out of luck to shop for lumber.

Help is hard to find, trailer parking really needs to be handled better. There us only a few spots to fit a trailer and you have idiots parking there cars there with a empty parking lot, leaving all people having a business that actually spend money know where to park. Warranty on tools is also hard to get. Even though it's a hassle free warranty. I've had issues replacing kobalt and craftsman. Beed to focus more on actually tools instead of bs DIY junk. Why is there quarter round, but no quarter round snips. Guess I'll have to go to home depot, they carry way more.
