Not a bad Walmart. Has major things you would want including groceries and all the household items you need. I must acknowledge they have a very large selection of kitchen equipment and other items including small appliances. Parking not too bad, underground, so make sure you are careful when coming out. The exit is a little steep and your car might roll back if there’s a line to get out (there usually is). Not a super-center wally, but it will do

I walk up on this item it was clearly $19.87 and I asked two different associates to check one could barely understand me the second person pulled out his phone and saw that it was incorrect so he corrected it with the suggestion I take a photo so that the manager could honor the price . After waiting for over 15 mins of her arrival only for her to say to me she will lose her job if she give it to me for the price that was posted before the change it wasn’t my fault the department manager didn’t make changes befor I got there which no one truly knew the actual price just no I wil no longer purchase anything from this location I would’ve gotten my item in Virginia Or Maryland it’s always something in dc and the manger was so unprofessional Ms makyo stay away from this Walmart Georgia Ave is better

First time coming here, and I love the cart elevator. Parking was cool but can get crazy real quick. The store was busy, but all the lines were open... loved it. Cashiers need to be a little more friendly.

Usually always has the stuff in stock, great for values. I got a bag of brown rice and oatmeal for $3. The self checkout center is quick and easy. Very clean, tons of good employees.

I live above Walmart so having store right there is very convenient, however I will never come back. I gave it a try multiple times and every time I have same bad experience. The store is clean and has everything in stock but most of the staff who work there are very unprofessional and rude and they treat customers like animals. Terrible !!

1 week ago I placed an online order for an item to pick up in store, and then I received an email that they were out of stock and they would ship it to my home in two days. I did not receive the package so I called customer service so I could request a replacement or my money back. The customer service person was friendly but the return policies are not the best and they told me I had to wait 48 hours to get a return while they investigated what had happened to my package. 48 hours passed and my package never showed up and I called customer service again and after talking to one person and another and waiting more than 1 hour on the phone, they never resolved my problem and I had to dispute the transaction with the bank . So I prefer to make purchases and pick them up in the store or go directly to a store instead of requesting home delivery because if the packages are lost they are not responsible for resolving things quickly.

Another store that’s just wanting to be shut down because of their unlawful employees and because of the high unlawful theft that’s going on . When I shop here the door person and security be on the lurk of harassment of me , how everyone before me have a cart full of items leaving out without showing any receipt after not having items in a bag while Leaving out. But my items that are counted for items are properly and legally bagged have to show receipts with the words from the employee mouth of because their eyes was on me and not the customers before me was said .I have almost lost it , I’m getting reports ready as we speak with legal action behind it ya want help to get shut down your employees is doing a hack of a job doing so with the high rate of theft 🤦🏾‍♀️ this happened twice with two different uneducated and unethical females .

I just came from that store, the guys working in self service check out area they are very rude, unprofessional and nonsense. They don’t know how to talk to the customer with minimum respect.One Spanish guy calling customer using 1/2 fingers. I can’t explain how unprofessional he is. Hopefully Store manager will check the camera and teach him how to interact/behave with customers.I informed it to other guy, he didn’t understand, didn’t say sorry or anything good. On top that 3 Walmart uniforms workers they were just humiliating me in front of the people.It was like a group of dogs 🐕 to me just barking for nothing.It looks like Walmart doesn’t give any training to their workers or they don’t care customers.Very disappointing customer service received today unfortunately.

Easy, convenient and affordable shopping. I really enjoyed shopping at this particular Walmart location. It’s big, organized and well stocked. I wish I could give -1 star to this store. Two time really awful customer service. The customer service agent yesterday returned my items, did not know about the promo code/store credit card and store return policy. When item returned, I did not receive my return slip too. I waited for over 30 minutes for the customer service manager, when she arrived, said she was busy while the agent approached her. The store manager explained the return policy and I politely asked her to explain it to her customer service agents.2. On October, I order a microwave online and it was showing ready for pick up, after 6 hours when I went to pick up, the customer service said it not ready, they asked me to wait few minute to be ready. I waited for 30 minute and then the customer service said, it IS CANCELLED? They are really terrible. Walmart need to take care of them. Thanks

Toooo many people. I bought 3 small apples, which I always buy, and the guy said 7.77 for that apples. I said" What???"Check again because anyone knows that's wrong. He said scale says 5 pounds. I asked him to look and does that look like 5 pounds of apples? He said maybe not but the scale says it. I said you need to report that scale because anyone with some sense knows that's wrong. Now how many people were cheated out of money. Stored packed with people and workers could not answer my simple questions. Horrible experience in Walmart in DC.

If you need a restroom, I don't recommend using theirs. My family and I all agreed it was the worst bathroom we've ever been in. Toilet paper rolls on the floor, paper towels not properly replaced so you had to handle the whole roll with wet hands. It didn't look like they tended to their restrooms all day. If my cashier wasn't friendly and funny I would have given this store 1 star. (Didn't catch his name, he was on register 5 at 6:50PM on 03/05/24).

It's crowded, there are never enough lines, and the place is heavily disorganized. But when you need stuff late night, it's nice to have around. I shop around 8-10pm with fewer issues. No access to customer service, but the customer service is iffy at best during the day anyway. Excellent craft and party sections.Update 07/27/22Still crowded, but there are alot more registers open. The selection for beauty products disappoints me. There aren't many black options despite this walmart being in a mostly black neighborhood. The craft section is pretty good.

Actually, that was my first time receiving a curbside purchase from Walmart. I was very pleased and satisfied with my services. The associate was friendly and polite. And he was very knowledgeable of which package was mine when I gave him my name. I'm am absolutely pleased with this stores excellent customer service. Thank you, Walmart, for a great experience.

It was a surprise to find this location here, however locating the actual entrance was a different story. Apparently I came in from the wrong side, and I needed to walk down through the parking garage, travel up escalators, then at that moment I found the actual main entrance. My hope was to come here to pick-up something inexpensive for lunch. Many stores sell chicken premade sandwiches and popcorn chicken for less than $3.00. There were no chicken sandwiches but I did find the popcorn chicken halfway full. While I was walking around looking for other stuff to buy, I ran into an old friend Hernan who now works here. I hadn't seen him in forever and we talked for a bit, and he made my day! He helped guide me to the electronics section because I wanted to checkout some tablets. I ended up just getting a bottled water, the popcorn chicken, and some candy.

Good prices but it needs better employees that really like to help . Today is 1/28/22 l was at walmart 2 days ago the skate boards were price 18.98. So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

I can’t even begin to explain how upset and frustrated I am with this whole experience at this Walmart. I placed an order online for a game table for my step son’s birthday. I saw online it said the item was in stock and was able to pick it up next day (on his actual birthday) which was awesome! But of course, too good to be true. It ended up saying it was unavailable but it said if it wasn’t unavailable the next best match would be applied. My husband is the pick up person and they have him the run around saying that order was cancelled because it was not available, then they told him to go look for it and maybe he can find it, he did! Last one they had, he goes to the front desk at customer service and they tell him he would need to purchase it AGAIN because the order was cancelled. I did NOT receive a notification that the item was unavailable nor did I get a message it was cancelled. I’m beyond upset with the way this was handled. The customer service, the miscommunication… if I could give this place 0 stars I would. Get it together Walmart!!!

I didn't know DC don't do plastic bags anymore. So I got some of those blue Walmart bags for 79 cents each. Store was clean stocked and all lines were moving.

Very hit or miss. I get all my Walmart+ deliveries from this Walmart. I had 2 deliveries they "attempted" to delivered but did not (confusing because I was home all day and no one ever tried to contact me). I've been trying to contact the Walmart for a week to get my orders, but no one answers the phone. They were black Friday online only deals so I'd hate to cancel the orders.

So this is not my closest Walmart but they always have a lot of body foam so I go there to pick it up. Today which is December 21, 2023. I was in the store about 9:00am. Did my food shopping while I was there got online about a couple of minutes before 10. Was a transgender woman online and the woman was jovial, making everybody laugh and the spirit was good. The special police agent, a woman I’ve seen her at other stores, black woman has a short weave. Walks over huffing and puffing I don’t know why maybe she just was upset that she had to do some work I don’t know. And she started to argue with the transgender lady. Now the lady said she wasn’t doing anything which she wasn’t and people were trying to tell the special police woman nothing was going on she insisted on Asking her to leave. Now two mail offices run over to support this woman. Now the male offices, two men black men gets to altercation with people standing online who totally disagree, and spoke out about the treatment that they gave this young lady. No management staff from Walmart came out. If Walmart doesn’t want LGBTQ business, then they shouldn’t support them. I really don’t go here, I’ve seen that woman special agent on Georgia Avenue. They seem to congregate and like they have a little police social so I guess the jovial Ness in the Christmas spirit must’ve interrupted something in their spirit. I don’t know but it was a really really bad experience it was it was, it was awful.

I am surprised by their high rating since the shelves are very dirty as well as their labels. The product is overstocked and you have to really pay attention to the labels or you will pick up the wrong item and pay more for the price.I have seen better stores but it is DC.

This Walmart has a grocery section and the regular section of Walmart. The store was very clean and organized. The store was easy to navigate and find what we needed. There were only 2 cashiers available so the quicker option is self check out. Parking was easy to enter and exit. No issues identified with this location. The better Walmart store versus the H street location.
