I made a photo order and a poster to pick up which I got 50% discount. When I got the store I asked for my poster because the guy just gave me the photos and he was explaining what happened when a supposed manager of the store came and cut me off saying in a very rude way saying I haven’t pay for the order yet and the machine was not working. They should called me asking if I wanted keep the order because I drove to DC just because of the poster. I got the photos which they charged me more than I was supposed to pay!I don’t recommend this store!

Today is the last day I shop at this Walgreens. I just miss shopping in Virginia more than anything (No locks on the socks, deodorant, and detergents). Besides that, I'd rather be watched by security for a better variety and prices. The commute to Walmart is worth it because I never feel like I'm being watched there.

On 1/2/2024 I was sick and had went to urgent care and got a prescription sent to the Walgreens located at1815 Connecticut Ave NWWashington DC 20009I had called ahead to verify my insurance and when to pick up my prescription. I called no less than 8 times only to be put on hold and ultimately never be answered, I spent 3 hours doing this.I am very sick, it is cold outside, I walked to this pharmacy and asked to pick up my prescription, to be told that they don’t have it and don’t know when it can be ordered. I wish someone could have told me that over the phone. The people working there were rude, dismissive, and completely devoid of skills. This place was a total ghost town and they had the unmitigated gall to tell me to my face they were too busy to answer the phone. I am very upset by this, had I known that they didn’t have the prescription I would have spent 3 hours calling around to other pharmacies to see if they had the same medicine instead of calling this one.

This location is the worst for photos. I’ve had issues multiple times. And taking all my photo needs to cvs. I ordered photos on Friday. Went in Saturday, and they showed no record. I showed them the confirmation. And they were like idk what happened. I asked if I could reorder and they said you can but that the photo person wouldn’t be in until Monday. (When they claim to do same day photo) I agreed, and replaced the ordered. I didn’t leave the store until they confirmed their system received the order. I asked if I’d get notified if the order was ready and they said yes and that they would put it in their group chat as well. I sent my fiancé on Monday and the order still wasn’t ready. I tried calling the store multiple time and their phones lines are dead. So I’m done. Do not recommend.

The pharmacy staff seem to either be totally incompetent, or liars because every single time I try to fill here there's an issue. They never seem to have MEDICINE at the PHARMACY. They're also rude

I no have so many problems here. Lady told me my prescription was not ready and we talked for several minutes and then she grabbed it off a shelf where it had been sitting the whole time! I could go on and on—problem after problem here.

This is the worst Walgreens in the world, perhaps. You have to wait for up to 30 min to check out. It’s insane. They always have only one person working. It sooooo bad another 20 min line. See pic. A typical night.

The worst Walgreen’s location anywhere!!! No one answers the phone (been trying for DAYS). Needed medication before leaving town and said “delayed due to insurance issue”. I don’t buy my medication through insurance (no one covers it). I had placed orders at other locations with no issues whatsoever. AVOID!!!!!!

Very impressed with the pharmacy at Walgreens because CVS was not only unable to fill a prescription but also charged the insurance twice. Dr Daniel called the insurance to find out who had charged it and then called CVS to get them to reverse it. They checked the few other pharmacies and when nobody had it, they ordered the Rx which did take a few days, but at least they got it for me. They did put a lot of work into this.

Horrible pharmacy experience. Filled out all forms online using their intake form in advance of arriving for scheduled flu shot. Arrived to a 30 minute wait in line. They requested information and insurance again in person. I waited another 30 minutes to be called to get actual shot, at which point they handed me another blank form and said their printer was not working and I needed to fill out information for a third time. I handed it back to them and walked out in disgust.

Pharmacy is an absolute nightmare to deal with. The orders never are ready in time and that’s a super big deal for people that require consistent medication. If it happened once or twice, I’d be more understanding, but it’s every single order. Take your prescriptions literally anywhere else

I had originally given this Walgreens location one star several months ago based on the chronic lack of help, long lines, and surly service. I changed the review to five stars for several reasons...the pharmacy at long last seems fully staffed again, the pharmacist on duty seems like he's there to stay and is most pleasant and the pharmacy has at its bedrock André and the very nice lady cashier. Please keep them!

Whenever I need prints or posters printed, I usually send them to Walgreens because they do a professional job and have it done at the time they promise me. This time, I had a poster that I needed printed and placed the order to a Walgreens in my area I'd never been to before. This store said that could they have it done same-day. Two days go by after my order has been confirmed and I have not received an email that the poster is ready. I think to myself "Hmm that's odd. Walgreens is usually punctual with photo printing." I happen to be in the area and decide to drop in to check on the order. I tell them my name and show them my confirmation email. I say my name is Bella and even show the employee the spelling to help. The employee working proceeds to show me every photo order under the sun that doesn't have my name on it. I say I see my order number on the computer behind you is it ready or should I come back? He says no its ready and brings me a photo order that isn't mine for a woman named Rachel. He insists multiple times this is my order. My name is Bella, not Rachel, and I have given him my written spelling of my name. When he finally finds my poster, he proceeds to ARGUE with me (unprompted I might add) and tell me that he already showed me this poster with my name on it and that I turned it away. I know that isn't true because I would know my name if I saw it. I'm not trying to be a "Karen" here and I so rarely leave bad reviews but I was upset to see the employee not only argue with me when I was patiently waiting and trying to help him out, but also not apologize for his mistake and insult my intelligence on what my name is. Will not be having anything printed here again. I didn't find the customer service great.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Waited ten minutes in line for prescription. It wasn't ready. Gave name and waited 40 minutes. When I asked the status, they indicated unapologetically they called the WRONG name a half-hour ago, even though I told them the name and it was written correctly on the tab. They never checked again to ask what prescription I was waiting for... just let me wait, and then blamed me when they called the wrong name. GO TWO BLOCKS TO DUPONT CIRCLE CVS INSTEAD if you value customer service at all!!!

This pharmacy is impossible to deal with lol, go to ANY other pharmacy but this one. Multiple times I’ve gotten texts saying my prescription is ready, i go and wait in the long line that they always have, just to be told it’s not ready and then be told “it’ll be ready in like a day or two” when i ask. I’ve also had to call because I got a new prescription filled at another Walgreens that was closer because I needed it asap, that Walgreens staff was lovely, but they were out so they transferred me to this one and the woman on the phone immediately said “we don’t have that here” (it was a very common prescription) and HUNG UP ON ME. I guess that experience was lucky though because any other time I’ve had to call, I never even get through or get put on hold for so long that I just hang up.Seriously, go to ANY other pharmacy. I know you have to deal with a lot as a pharmacist but don’t take it out on people who are just trying to get answers and their medications lol.

On the phone this Walgreens has the rudest and most disrespectful Pharmacy technician staff. The store has no store manager. Perhaps Roz Brewer should have to pick up her own medications then she'd understand how broken corporate America is and how disgustingly overpaid she is. Put the money back into your stores then maybe people won't suffer.....Walgreens CEO Roz Brewer was the highest paid female chief executive in 2021, according to a new Equilar study. Brewer was awarded $28.3 million in compensation — $20.2 million in the form of stock awards. Corporate Execs all need to be fired!

This is the worst shop ever. I came to my appointment for the flu shot but they claimed they cannot see appointments (so appointments are useless) AND they ran out of the flu shot anyway. Some weeks before, I ordered a "same day pick-up" foto book, it said it was ready 2 hours (midday) but they did not even have a "technician" there that day so it was done the next day (so much for "same day" orders). Today, my friend wanted to print pictures, it said they were ready at 11 ... we went back for that time but we were told the technician doesn't come until 1pm. This mismanagement is beyond anything I have seen.

My fiancé and I joke that this is the worst Walgreens in the world but it is seriously the worst Walgreens in the world. Always understaffed in both the front and the pharmacy, and always full of migraine-inducing, flickering fluorescent lights. As I write this I have been waiting 45 minutes for a flu shot despite making an appointment over a week ago. And lord help you if you need a staff member to unlock something, like toothpaste or razor blades. I don’t know why I torture myself and keep coming back here; can’t wait for that new CVS to open in Adams Morgan.Update: my total wait time was two hours. I repeatedly asked where I was in the queue and was repeatedly ignored until a man asked for me. 🤬🤬🤬

Update: I went in to pick up 2 items. It took 30 minutes bc they charged me twice via the app. He was yelling at me saying I was wrong — and refused to believe me even though I showed him the TWO RECEIPTS IN THE APP. This place is understaffed, so everyone behind registers is stressed and unhelpful. After 30 min, he finally returned both purchases and I left with nothing.—-I wish I could give ZERO stars. Again & again, this store & pharmacy is a mess. Every time I visit in-person or call, something goes wrong. Tonight, I was on hold waiting for someone to answer for 30+ minutes before closing at 6 - then at 5:57, the phone just hung up on me.

I was in DC and forgot my medication at home. Walgreens is my home pharmacy. I stopped by this location and the filled my prescription for me so I’d have medicine for the duration of my trip. Very good customer service!

Made an appointment for a COVID booster a week ago only to be turned away because they were out of vaccines at my appointment time due to giving them all to walk-ins. Why offer appointments if walk-ins can take all of the doses? I'll skip walking in here and try my luck somewhere else.

Not a reliable pharmacy. The notifications are not accurate about available prescriptions and there is only 1 person working at most times. I typically stand in line to get my prescriptions for 20-30 minutes every time.

Still on hold! Its 4:17pm and Im calling the pharmacy non stop since 1pm from 2 phones simultaneously ! After 15, 20 min call got dropped… music comes and then silence! Sometimes I hear noise then silence! Called manager… nobody connected me! Called again! barely english speaking and zero phone skills! I can only imagine whats going on there! Shame!

What a great store! Clean, well stocked, with very friendly employees. I especially want to thank Aryzell for helping me pick out all those items to put in the "bathroom baskets" for my daughter's upcoming wedding. Thanks for your help! I had already walked out of CVS because it was a mess and luckily found this store right round the corner from the Washington Hilton.

Horrible wait times for the pharmacy every time the last few months. When this first opened as Walgreens in 2020 they were adequately staffed but it has gone horribly downhill since then.

I shop here partly because of GNC, but the brand is not well-stocked, especially on sale items like buy 1 get 2nd 50% off, sometimes they only have 1 in stock. However, please ask the managers, they are willing to give you the discount based on the deal advised.
