They deserve the low ratings. Pharmacy provided incorrect info about my insurance and made me wait 30 minutes to tell me incorrect information. Staff definitely don’t care about customer service.

Definitely the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They never pick up the phone, so you have to walk all the way over there and wait in line for about an hour, only for them to tell me they didn’t have the meds they said they would hold for me 2 days ago. Huge waste of my time. They are horribly understaffed and the few staff they have there clearly hate the job and don’t want to help you.

Incompetent staff who forced the customer to leave using a weapon. I visited the store to get a refund in March 2023. During the process, the staff was very impatient because they were able to process the refund due to some mechanical issues and all of a sudden forced me to leave the store by threatening to use a GUN. I had to leave for my own safety. Afterwards, I requested investigation to resolve the issue, but the store manager Bethany closed the case without my consent and never acted on what happened. The threatening and forcing was truly terrifying and the staff were indifferent. My right as a customer was severely violated by Walgreens. The way they dealt with the issue shows how rotten their corporate culture is. It’s such a pity to have experienced the unfortunate event myself and lose faith in a retail giant in the United States

I just stopped by to give a public shout-out to the friendly young woman (with the amazing smile!) who helped me here last week. She was so kind and patient processing my return, helping me to reimburse my gift card, and giving me advice to maximize the discount on my new purchase. Her exact words to me were, "Don't worry. I like a challenge. I'll figure this out. It's my job." What a wonderful employee.

They need to hire more pharmacists.With flu shot season in full swing, the lines at the pharmacy are insane.The pharmacists are doing their level best, working flat out, but expect at least an hour to an hour and a half delay for flu shot “appointments”Walgreens is too cheap to properly staff their stores. Hire more people!

Do not go there to take a passport photo!I went to this Walgreens near the Embassy of Mali in Washington DC on June 20th around 12pm. I am from NJ by the way and this was my first trip to DC after 10+ years.They are unprofessional, they don’t have a curtain to take a photo of you. They will just make you stand by their white wall and then edit the image in the computer with white erasers. Unfortunately, my picture was not nice at all. It was ugly. I asked the guy to retake it. HE REFUSED AND TOLD ME TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, which I did. He was a Somalian guy. He shouldn’t be working there if he is not ready to take his job seriously and please the customers .At CVS nearby, everything was perfect. They indeed had a white curtain begin and they did not have to edit anything.

It seems like the service and the competency of the staff went down dramatically in the last several months. The new staff must have not gone through proper training. And they’re not even nice. They always have some excuse why they can’t perform their jobs. They’re very rude and don’t understand basic things customers need. Oh and their Google page shows that they’re temporarily closed. Maybe this is foreshadowing what will happen? In any case, I’ll have to take my business elsewhere for now. It’s too bad because I like this location and this store used to have good people.

The worst customer service! It is saturday when there is always a lot of people shopping and I wait for manager for 15 minutes!!!!!! And she was like system is not taking your purchase rewards I cannot do anything! Like what am I supposed to do? I have to solve this problem by myself but not the store?” Come back other day for different manager and talk to her” this was the answer! Really walgreens?????? I have never in my life leave bad review but that is it! I am the Karen today! And just for that answer I waited 15 minutes and the face of the manager🤯!

I have used this pharmacy for many years. I can count on one hand out of the scores of times I have been here that the pharmacy staff have been average. The customer service etiquette over the phone is even worse. Finally got fed up with the abysmal customer service, taking my business somewhere else. There are competitors with way better service these days to put of with this rude pharmacy staff. Maybe Walgreens overall has a problem.

Called to ask the pharmacy a question about insurance. I was on hold at the pharmacy for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Then I heard the phone being picked up and someone on the other end hung-up the phone on me. I am currently calling back and have been on hold for 26 min (so far). Overall, I have wasted 1 hour & 46 minutes on hold to speak with someone at the pharmacy and still have yet to be connected with anyone

You’re much better off going to the CVS across the street. The store is run-down and there is never enough staff. The pharmacist who gave me my Covid booster was unfriendly to the point of being rude. After administering the shot, he repeatedly and loudly slammed the sharps box against the wall to get the needle to go in and it was just really uncalled for. I won’t be back unless I really need something and CVS is out of stock.

Great pharmacy staff. I was visiting from SC and had forgotten a few of my prescriptions. The pharmacist on staff Saturday morning (Oct 26) was so helpful and he was very quickly able to fill my 3 orders for 2 days worth of meds to get me through the weekend. Very nice, easy process, friendly folks.

One of the pharmacy technicians may be the single worst pharmacy technicians to ever exists. Consistently made customers cry, refuses to be helpful and hangs up on customers because she has no desire to use her brain and try to help.

A big no no place. Their staff are both rude and incapable. They behaved rudely towards my family and child and yelled at a very cute three year old. They also did not know how to handle normal purchasing through credit cards. They also were not able to print out receipt because they did not know how to put that roll of paper in for printing. I have to say that the manager of this store location must be incapable, and this is the worst pharmacy I have been to in the past 20 years.

you never really think to read the reviews for a drugstore but sheesh this was the worst experience ever. i waited in like for 50 minutes to get my COVID booster and they didn’t have a single prescription ready despite customers receiving texts that their prescription is ready. highly recommend you don’t schedule an appointment here as the staff is incredibly incompetent

The pharmacist, Joe, is highly incompetent. I’m visiting from out of town and had a physician call in a nausea medication for me around 1 PM on 4/8. The physician stated he had never had such difficulty calling in a prescription before - not even for anything related to the medication, sig, or dosing - but because the pharmacist, Joe, could not understand the patient name is “Victoria” and not “Bigtoria.” Odd because Victoria is a fairly common name whereas the latter is not. It would’ve been comical, except for the fact that I went to the pharmacy approximately 24 hours after it was called in to pick up my medication and Joe told me he didn’t have it ready. He stated, “I told the physician you needed to call the pharmacy because we did not have an account for you.” But that was false, because I was with the physician when he called it in. And although it has been a while, I do have an account with Walgreens. I’m sure Joe just didn’t take the time to do the central search as it would’ve been too much work to click one extra button. Not only that, I work in a pharmacy. If a medication is called in for a new patient, you do the logical thing and create a new profile. You can update the insurance when the patient arrives. But nope. Joe said I was supposed to call ahead of time and he made no attempt to create a profile, even though he showed me he had all of my information written down accurately when I arrived. That’s definitely not a Walgreens policy since I’ve worked in a Walgreens pharmacy. That’s just Joe doing less than the bare minimum at his job. But he was so kind as to offer that I wait an additional 40 minutes to fill something that should’ve been done 24 hours ago. But I declined and remembered why I never fill my prescriptions at Walgreens.

This is the best pharmacy I have experienced in the States. Ashley, the Pharmacy manager is extraordinary and caring. Shorthanded on a Saturday, and ten minutes to closing, she was able to fill four prescriptions and even found me a coupon to save me over $100 on a nasal decongestant. Last month, she left a message asking if I had any questions after using a new inhaler. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

The staff at this location are super slow. Long line to pay because of this.They are open 24/7 which is a plus. Prices aren’t that great, but I can’t get over the unfriendly slow staff. And forget it if you have a question regaring the location of a product in their store. Was looking for contact lens solution and was told the wrong aisle by the staff member. I’m guessing he never bothered to learn what was where in his own store. If you hate your job, work someplace else!

I go there occasionally, it’s good store. Good selection. Quick photo printing.However, this time I needed a picture for my European passport taken which is 1.37x1.77. They told me that they cant do it. Which is a false information. I went to another Walgreens in union station and they took it.Dear Walgreens on 22nd street: In your photo kiosk, it is set by default on US passport but if you click on it it gives you option of different dimension for different counties. You’re welcome.

We are not from this area but did stop to get some Kind Plus bars. When we were checking out I wondered why they ask if we wanted a bag. Because, I made a purchase and would expect you to bag items for me. Well, two days latter I’m checking receipts and doing reviews and see I was charged for the bag. Come on Walgreens this is ridiculous!!! You need to tell people they have to pay for a bag!!

Late night store located in residential and tourist neighborhood. Very convenient, but slow service at check out.This store should be avoided in the over night hours. Staff told me I should "get over" slow service in early morning hours as there is only one or two employee and a manager.They don't care about customer service. I don't need the attitude.

I’ve been calling this pharmacy for the past 3 days and I’ve never had someone answer. It’s ridiculous, unprofessional and really frustrating. I just waited on hold for 10 minutes then they hung up. Go literally anywhere else because they clearly don’t want to work.

Mostly stuff is expensive. But real problem is super slow service on the counter. I was with my 3 years old kid. Cant wait for so long. That's why left the stuff and came back. I understand my kid is very naughty. He roam around here and there. So, I have to go after him during the long counter line. But with this slow service on counter I am out now. 3 out of 6 times; It happened with me in last 2 weeks.
