Great service associates at this location!Everyone we encountered were all smiles & operating at their best levels. Extra kudos goes out to:● Rob (from the electrical department) — he's an absolute patient saint of a sweetheart who went out of his way (beyond what I would consider beyond the usual call of duty!) to help my sister & I find needed items that were located in various other departments outside of the area he's responsible for... what a gem of a gentleman!● Danita (in Customer Service) — facilitated our complicated purchases with such efficiency & humorous panache that despite having had to shell out a pretty penny at Home Depot, she even managed to make us feel happy when we walked out of the store!Every Home Depot is more or less the same in terms of stocked items, but it's the quality of sale associates that gives each store its distinct character... it's individuals like Rob & Danita that make service at this location stand out compared to other Home Depot locations.😊🙏😊

Used to be the best big box hardware store in DC, but the transition to self-service checkout only in December made the shopping experience so much worse.The checkout process is slower and more inhumane. Staff yelling out the checkout counter that is open makes us feel like cattle, and the amount of unmarked items in the store that require assistance (hardware, plumbing fittings) makes it so much slower. Please bring back the regular checkout (with some self-service lanes for the smaller, less complex purchases). Until then I will be using the garden center assisted checkout in the spring and summer and the Lowe’s up New York Ave for everything else.

Well, it is Home Depot. You are lucky if you find one of the retired out contractors who know what they are telling you to do. I have gotten terrible advice though. It normally has been in plumbing. My local hardware store turned into an ACE & has the same issues. I feel strangled on the advice unless you land on the few folks who know what they are doing.Plants & paint are fine.

This Home Depot is very convenient if you’re in the Rhode Island/Brentwood NE DC Area. They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..

the worst. Can never get any help in the store. AND if you buy an appliance good luck. Deliver system is the worst I have ever seen. Totally disconnected and the will tell you conflicting information. Never again will I buy an appliance from Home Depot. The worst.

Beware when ordering delivery. On March 17, I ordered a $456.00 bookcase for delivery on April 4. On March 29, a driver from Estes Trucking attempted an unannounced delivery. I contacted Home Depot Customer Support, who sent me an email telling me that Fedex delivered the item to the trucking company on March 23, and Home Depot considers the order closed. You beat me out $456.00, but I'm damn sure gonna tell everybody what you did to me.

The employees were a mixture of self involvement to very helpful... most were walking around on their phones engaged in personal conversations and acted to bothered to answer any question with any effort.

The worst store to work for,management is garbage in there. If you good at kissing a#' they will keep as a slave but after 2 years working on their floor load team I will say it's not worth working here your work ethic is useless here. Find another career is my advice in the dmv area.

I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

Great shops for home goods, this is very big shop i have been going that HomeDepot for many years i was there very first day when they opened, biggest problem is coustmer service is very bad here i stud for help for more than 20 minutes before someone showed up.

The parking lot is FULL of at least 50 illegal aliens on a daily basis that harass you for work, money, etc. Some of them are intoxicated, and they can be found hanging out or sleeping in the back of the rental trucks. With all of that occurring, it's a wonder people will get out of their car and go shopping in there!

The third time there and no one have answers to my questions? Need it to buy things, to do a fix at home, and honestly, I am not an expert. And in their ads, they say expert people to help you with your in home project. But no one has answers. All they said may be this, and maybe don't help me. 🤷‍♂️

I have to give Douglas a HUGE shout out. I came in completely confused how to fix my oven door hinge and he showed me all the tools I needed, how to use them, and even got me started with the repair. He was beyond helpful and even showed me how to avoid the problem in the future by demoing on one of the models in the appliance section.Every time I come to this store I've found the customer service to be so helpful. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my home repair needs. Thanks again Douglas!

I went to buy white, plastic lawn bags that I saw YouTuber 'Clean The City' Lawn Care personality recommend them but all this store had was paper brown bags that cost $2.67 + plus tax. The team members were very helpful. Self-checkout was a breeze.

If I could, I would give 0. We ordered windows through Raj, and his team installed the windows. However, some of the windows weren't what we asked for, and there were missing screens. We repeatedly asked them to remedy the situation by installing the correct windows and missing screens. It has been two long years, and they still haven't fixed their mistakes. They continue to dismiss and ignore my numerous requests. They responded only because DCRA got involved. Recently, they sent an installer, but he arrived with nothing and did not install anything. This has been the worst customer service experience. They wasted a lot of my time. I highly recommend using your local general contractor to order and install windows. 0/5.

Great Home Depot Freud Mt staff always available to help you find what your looking for. Some things were sold out per norm considering current state of things but overall they had almost everything came in for. Also had a great floral selection inside and outside.

When you have a house you need to keep going there that's my second home so at Home Depot is good I wish they had one in my neighborhood though I got to go all the way up on Rhode Island Avenue by train to take a while but other than that it's a good place
