Target, how do you expect to stay in business if you lock up all the items and there’s no one to ever unlock the items for paying customers? The call buttons don’t even work. Never anyone at the registers for help or returns. I have stopped going.

Small but fairly well provisioned food section, with both snack foods and some home groceries, heavy on the convenience foods. Prices are high but better than other stores in the area. Conveniently open until 11 p.m. on Saturdays, in an area where other stores close at 9 or 10, but it closes earlier on other days of the week. Free parking with store validation.Downside: Service was sparse and heavily dependent on self-service—there were no employees on the floor helping customers, and of three employees around the checkout counter, only one was operating a register, quite lackadaisically.

Great small format Target in a really accessible part of Cleveland Park (and just steps from the Metro stop). Impressed with their selection of fresh foods. Nice home goods section too. Unique underground store. Really friendly employees! I will certainly be back.

No one is ever at the checkout counter to help. Nearly every time I go here, either my self check-out machine or someone else’s machine malfunctions halfway through, and you have to go track down one of the employees to reset it. When that happens you’re lucky if the staff member doesn’t roll their eyes at you or mutter something under their breath. Target needs to have someone assigned to the counter or at the very least, connect the check-out machines to staff pagers.

This is one of the best Targets in the DMV. It is always stocked and staff is always working on the floor. Additionally, they have accessible ALL-GENDER bathrooms. This is one of my favorite Targets. Target is such a great place! Thanks Cleveland Park staff.

Horrible experience!!First thing I noticed was the SMELL - smells like human waste through the whole store.There was not a single human cashier or even a self checkout attendant to fix the machines when 3/5 of them were stuck on ‘someone is on the way to help’ mode. By the time an employee finally came, we had been waiting for 10 minutes and had just gotten to a working register. The employee just walked by and didn’t acknowledge any of the customers or the fact that the registers weren’t working.Whatever. Short staffed and overworked and all that, okay fine.But when I asked where we get the parking validated, the employee vaguely pointed to my right and said ‘press the button twice’ and turned her back to me. When I asked which button, the employee huffed, stomped over, said ‘press the button twice’ with a nasty attitude as they lightly tapped a blue light (that was not a button), then walked away.0/10 will NEVER go again.

Target in DC is deplorable-should close it’s doors. No shopping carts. No one working in the store. And to make matters worse, half the items in the store are under lock and key-with 0 personnel to help. What a joke!

No one working registers, stood for 15 minutes waiting for an employee for a “order pickup”. Security guard watched me waiting and did nothing to help, he also watched a guy shop lift 5 packs of Pampers and didn’t even flinch.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the surroundings is a very beautiful place with a lot of awesome deals! it was a very nice experience for people are just super awesome everybody was all friendly and lot of excitement going on just keep it in the parking lot list fire I loved it

No one works here lol Other than misplaced loyalty to capitalism and a very mild concern about a later arrest for shoplifting, there’s no reason to check out here. None of the registers work half the time and there’s no one that can ever be found except stock people who can’t help.

I’m sorry but this target smells EVERY time I go. Have to put my mask on because it smells so bad, but even with a mask, it smells. There’s a horrible sewage scent that bleeds its way through the entire store. There are a few items at this target that I like to pick up but the smell is outrageous. I keep thinking it’s a fluke but it really smells horrendous almost every time I go. Most targets smell good. This isn’t acceptable

My friend is a former employee at this establishment and I decided to post this on their behalf to protect their anonymity.First off, HR is prone to scheduling shifts at horrible times with little regard for the time you will have between shifts. Now this could be fixed if HR was more present and was available to talk about shift scheduling and issues that arise from how they do it.Secondly, the General Manager is very aggressive with their style of management. They often are talking down to people and attempting to single them out for ridicule or to give attitude to. They also have zero regard for a worker's wellbeing or health, instead putting the business before the people who have to make sacrifices for it. If you ever do call out and the GM answers, be prepared because she will try to gaslight you and talk you out of whatever your legitimate reason for not being able to come in is.

Free parking but you MUST get your ticket validated in store. Great for quick Target run. You can always find helpful employees and if you don’t see what you are looking for ask and they’ll get it in stock. Great manager. Super clean store. Perfect location.

It is Very nice and very clean. It is small in size, but they've got everything from groceries to clothes and electronics. It is conveniently located near the red line Cleveland park metro station, and bus ( L1, L2) stop. when you walk in this location, it looks like you're at a duty-free shop at an airport. It is also a quick 5 minute walk from the zoo.

Purchased baby food online that was listed as in-stock. Received notifications that it was ready to pick-up. My husband went to pick it up and not only did they not have our order, they didn't have the product in stock. My husband then decided to purchase other items while he was there and was followed closely around the store by security so much that he had to ask the person to back off. I called Target HQ and they confirmed that the order was ready for pick up. I'll be going back to Amazon after this experience.

Right off the metro so it's convenient, not to mention, definitely bigger than you'd think. They took the investment of digging underground for the store (kind of like their NYC Tribeca location) and it definitely paid off. Validate parking when you leave since there's a lot attendant and a gate... no joke. Prices upscale for the location, but they had what I needed and would probably visit again.

It's a small community store, not your big super store. It has a lot of items for a quick stop. The clothing area was sparse, but the grocery and home goods are great for filling your apartment.

I went to buy a kettle, a chopper, and found dish basket. I am very happy, this store is small, but stocks are pretty complete. Groceries are in good stock today. Good vegetables, fruits, berries, meat and cheese, eggs all stocked well.

Unfortunately they don’t have any kids clothing like the Bethesda mini-store does. Other than that it’s good, and you at least get tiny selections of everything else. Make sure to have them stamp your parking ticket for validation!

Once again another store selling EXPIRED Ground Turkey!!! I am so sick of spending my hard earned money only to throw it away. Please have your staff learn how to check and remove expired meat. Yes I should have checked it, but it shouldn't have been on the shelf to begin with. I went to your store on 5/22 and the package said expired 5/15/2020!! SHAME ON YOU!!

Excellent addition to the neighborhood. This is a small-format store, so it may not have all of the items you would expect from a regular Target. There is a grocery section as well as the usual home goods and clothing.

Very accessible to the metro. Parking lot in the front and street parking all around. Love the neighborhood style. They have most anything you are looking for. Clean and neat.
