Great little market near the hotel we were staying. It's clean and has the basics for groceries covered. Good selection of beer too along with prepared meals. Kept us fed when we didn't feel like going out to eat.

DO NOT COME HERE AS A TOURIST!It‘s a total scam!!!Bought groceries for around 15$, then both my Mastercards (which worked totally fine at any other shop for the last 2 weeks) were declined. When I used my VISA Card to pay (overall the 3rd card) the payment went through. Instead the actual price of 15$, though, I was charged about 23$. I was not given any receipt and realized too late. If you still decide to shop here, be aware of this shady method.

Amazing market. Staying down the road at a Hilton and would rather have my own in-room food. Got protein bars, egg burritos, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Reasonably priced for the convenience and location downtown. Will definitely be back during my trip.

I used to like this store! Recently I stopped by to get some asain spices and one of the employees found it necessary to follow me around the store. It wasn’t until I was checking out where he left me alone. Very discriminatory! I lived in the neighborhood for years and a promominent member of this society. I’m also a DC public servant. Never shopping here again. Overall grade:F.

I absolutely love this store! I wish we had them in Georgia. The produce was fresh, there were great healthy snack options, & I love the variety of small meals in the refrigerator section. They even had natural body care products. (Even though I didn't need it, I couldn't resist purchasing a bar of Dr. Bronner's soap! It's so hard to find all the scents!)

Fantastic for a neighborhood corner market. Great selection of basic items and a good mix of high end brands and the usual staples. Prices only marginally higher than the big groceries and the convenience can't be beat. Also pretty good prepared meals - pastas, salads, etc instead of just sandwiches.

A couple days ago I went to this store looking for an especific wine for my girlfriend, I try to ask a stocker for some help but he didnt even notice me because he were waering headphones, I talk to him like 3 times and at the and I had to walk to the cashiers for some help, thats kind of rude. Souldn't be allowed to use headphones during work in my opinion.

The staff here is great, very attentive, and efficient. It’s a small store but has just about everything you would need. Their pre-made meals are very convenient for something quick but still filling and substantial in portions. Some prices a little high but similar prices are common in DC, so not a huge deal.The hours are great as well. Really great and much needed addition to the neighborhood.

Well stocked little market with all the basics, including fresh produce and some surprises. Wine and beer. Good walking space. Clean. No lines. Prices are not too bad. The only bad thing for me is that fresh baguettes are only delivered T, Th and S.

We frequent the store for last minute items or a missing ingredient we forgot to get elsewhere. Prices can be very high; higher than Whole Foods. Cashiers are very mechanical and are not overly friendly, Location is what makes this place good for us but I would never go out of my way to shop there. Lots of organic and speciality foods and way overpriced wine selection.

Decent grocery store for a quick trip, small produce/meat section, lots of beer/wine. Would be tough to do weekly grocery shopping but good for a few things on the way homeUpdate: They've totally expanded the space. Larger sections for both premade meals and raw ingredients. Could do 99% of my grocery shopping now at Streets Market! Great selection especially for alternative meat and dairy selections (field roast sausage, beyond beef, oatly etc).

Good price and fresh meat. Good service. However, I put my umbrella in the bucket, but someone took it away. It’s not this store problem, but just reminding everyone watch out your umbrella when you put in the bucket.

Love this store. Has fresh meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, pastries, baked goods, dairy products. They sell alcohol and frozen food, also they have prep meals. Really nice neighborhood market. Bit pricey but super helpful to have it nearby.

One of the workers tonight, followed me in the store. Very weird, I’ve shopped at the streets market over 50 times but have not been here in a while and tonight the Spanish (female) worker followed me in one of the aisles and pretended to be shopping. I spent a lot of time in one aisle because I was reading ingredients on the items I was purchasing. Racial profiling, did you think I was stealing or going to steal (pathetic). Plenty of OTHER people around the store and no one else was followed. Not okay.. in the heart of dc learn some awareness as a minority yourself you shouldn’t profile people.
