First time bringing our 95 pound Old English Sheepdog for grooming. It was a fantastic experience! Francesca Did an EXCELLENT job, answering all of our ridiculous questions with patience & courtesy!!! All of our requests for our dog were fulfilled beautifully!!! The other staff were friendly, knowledgeable & simply wonderful!!!

I am putting one star because I cannot rate them with zero or minus five stars. I asked them to trim my Pomeranian’s hair Fox style. They trimmed all his fur and it will take months for his hair to be the way it was. I am adding pre and post photos. Terrible service. Avoid this place for grooming.

Recently had my appointment with Francesca at this location and he did an amazing job. My 10 year old sheltie is a shy and sometimes nervous dog but I could tell Francesca cares for animals and that she was in good hands when dropping her off. He made sure to ask what I wanted to have done, and after showing a picture reference and describing the cut he took it from there. My dog at pick-up looked, and still does, great. I had the full groom and bathing package with the shedding treatment done and am pleased with the final price. Most groomers in DC are a pain to get an appointment for but Petco made it really accessible online to get an appointment without hassle. Glad to have found a great groomer with an affordable price in DC, look forward to coming back!

I am not one to ever give a review but I must let people know my dog (2 year old goldendoodle) got ringworm and fleas after being there for a grooming. I feel terrible for my dog and upset I paid over 100$

The lady on the desk was like rude and look angry 😠 and when she gave my dog 🐩 she just said this is your dog but her look 👀 was like angry 😠, but the grooming lady was nice 👍 but I never will go back to get service for may dog no more on that location,

I brought in my older Golden Retriever, who was long overdue for a deep clean, and Terrance made her feel brand new! She was so happy and acted like a puppy when I came to pick her up. I could tell she was very well cared for, and Terrance made sure to note any concerns during the grooming. She strutted around with the biggest tail wags the rest of the day! This was my first visit to this location but I will definitely be bringing my doggo back considering the great service and care.

Fantastic, friendly service. I arrived early, and they were able to take my puppy at that time. They were very friendly and patient with her, despite her obvious fear. They knew exactly how to handle her. The grooming was excellent, and my puppy was very happy afterwards. I caught a few glimpses of her near the end, while she was still being groomed, and she seemed very calm and content. Everyone was very kind, and treated my puppy wonderfully. Thank you!!

The store is in a very congested area with no "legal" on street parking close. Calling for pick up to your car didn't work. Had to park 2 blocks away and walk back to Petco. The cashier was very friendly and helpful when I went in to pick up my order. Didn't have time to look store over and shop.

Ashlee. She not only loves the animals, she loves her job. I met her on our first trip to Petco, our trip was due to convience. We've been going back ever since. I've referred her to my neighbors and we all love her. She's truly an STAR. 💝💝💝

The groomer, Samanta, is so kind, thoughtful, and obviously took very good care of our pup. We figured we'd try Petco out a time or two and then either exclusively groom our dog at home, or find a grooming place that is dedicated to just grooming, but interacting with Samanta (I believe she took care of us on our first trip as well) has made us think that we will stick with Petco for any future major grooming needs. She is great!

The cut was perfect and the two ladies in the salon stayed a bit later to not leave my dog alone. Heart + skill = forever customer. I live in Hyattsville, MD but still make the trip to DC to service my dog. Thanks!!
