I waited 25 minutes to pick up my dog after paying. Nobody assisted me by calling a groomer to see what was taking long. A couple months ago, I was told at that exact location that if I load my rewards I’ll still be able to use them past their expiration date, they called corporate and everything to have my unused rewards reloaded to my account. I mentioned it this time and they told me they have no idea what I’m talking about. I was then overcharged $10 from what my total said when I booked my appointment.

It was wonderful. She took our dogs the same day at the time we wanted. She was very nice and kind to them. Our old, dog was 'rejuvenated' and acted like a young, happy dog when we picked them up. They also looked so clean and beautiful! Jordan is amazing! Not sure if I am spelling her name right. We always take our old beagles to her.

I took my dog in for a grooming appointment and gave the groomer very simple yet specific instructions on what I wanted. Upon picking up my dog he was shaved down to the bone. Far from what I asked for.

My dog was scalped and the groomer insisted it was a proper #5 cut after I explicitly asked for a little off. We have a Maltese ShiTsu mix who was combed. After pickup, the dog had a branch in his face and the two small mats still behind his ear. After dropping our dog at 9am we received a call noting that they were behind for the day. Looks like the there was no care taken, just a quick, inappropriate, scalping. I regret tipping. And should not have paid.

Don't take ur pets here!! They are not properly trained. I have a 5 yr old Bichon that has never bitten anyone and Jordan says that Fred bit her. I believe he felt her energy and was nervous. She didn't give me a good vibe when i met her b4 I dropped Fred off

Ranisha is the bomb. She took good care of my fur baby Nino. I was so nervous at first, but she was reassuring and efficient in her grooming. First visit, but it will not be my last!!!

Our groomer- Jade was AMAZING!! We have two very anxious dogs, one of which is always matted no matter how well we brush her and she gave her the best haircut even with all the mats on her body! Our oldest dog probably got one of the best haircuts of his 7 years of life : ) The store was so clean, the staff was so kind and helpful, and the appointment was so much quicker than most of our previous grooming appointments at other places. Highly recommend Petco Grooming and Jade!

We were pleasantly greeted then our groomer came out with the same energy. She explained what I had asked for and gave recommendations for my dog Harvey. He left without hesitation and was returned looking so much better and the cost was great!!

My groomer, K’Vina is nothing short of amazing. If she ever leaves this location I’m going to have to follow her. She’s caring and compassionate with my fur baby. He enjoys his time with her and comes back clean and manicured. She’s a joy to work with.

This was the second time bringing my Pomerian to the New York Ave NE DC Petco. and both times this girl shows that she doesn't know what she's doing. she basically skinned my dog cut his tail wrong when I asked not to touch his tail at all. she also snips his testicle again which was something I mention to her to watch out for that area. just terrible my baby will never go there again and didn't mention he was very unhappy that day.😞

When I arrived, first lady at front didn't say hello then she just took out a paper in which she told me to put his initials there, she looks bored, after that she went to bring a leash that when she put it on my dog ​​at the time my dog was moving it was adjusting his neck,I said Do you have another one ? She said no ,the dog have to walk with this. she said that had to be done by new petco policy that they can keep personal belongings from customers. So Petco has many collar that my dog can used not only this blue cheaper collar who is choking his next because my dog refuse to used this, again I told her , my dog ​​is not used to being grabbed with the neck but rather the one who grabs the body, they told me NO, She told them since a month ago, I said then because a month ago I brought him and there was not problem.I waited for this appointment a month ago and it is not possible that now they are telling me NO, this policy is about 2 months,,well someone broke the policy one month ago and still working , and now me frustrated , waiting for this appt one month ago.They must understand that not all dogs like to be grabbed by the neck.VERY BAD customer service, they have NO patience with a dog that is nervous and doesn't like to use that.

this was my 1st time taking my pet to this location. They were very professional, friendly & courteous. I was very please with how they handled my fur baby. I can tell by his demeanor that he enjoyed his spa day!

My soon-to-be 16 yr. old yorkie's cut didn't look professionally done. The cut around his face was extremely choppy. The hair on and around his ears was not trimmed. His nails did not appear to be cut. The top of his head was wet when I picked him up. He had hard crust in his eyes that was not cleaned. The groomer told me it was stains, which clearly were not stains. It was hard a ball of crust that I've seen before and it's always removed when groomed.

I am highly disappointed with Petco Grooming in general. My 8 month old puppy has been for grooming thrice at different locations and every time at the time of booking they state a certain price and when I go to pick him up they pile up charges for random things like your puppy doesn’t fall under a small puppy category (my puppy is 15 lbs and super small) pr that his hair doesn’t fall under small hair category.. also service isn’t consistent. Not sending him to Petco again.
