This is a great pet stop for all of your dog/cat/fish/whatever needs. We have come here a few times (sometimes with our dog) to pick up some food, get a toy and a bone. The other day we wanted to buy a fish and a tank for our place yet we knew so little about what to get. Luckily Petco has the best worker ever there and his name is Roberto. If you have any questions, please ask for him. He is simply amazing. Our only question for him was if we should get a filtered tank or not. He took a few tanks out of their boxes to show us what is good and what isn't. Then he told us about different types of fish, rocks, food, water treatment and many more topics. He was extremely helpful and not pushy at all by trying to get us to buy more.

Went in for supplies for all my animals. Very clean and well organized store! The workers were taking great care to organize the dog section while I was in there, and the fish tanks were spotless. I even peeked into the grooming salon and it was clean as a whistle.When asking questions the manager was even knowledgeable which is rare in most stores. He was very professional and friendly. It was my first but certainly not last visit. I love this place!

I just needed my dogs nails cut. The ladies in the grooming department were honest, efficient, and entertaining. Danielle was the best. My dog, who usually is scared of strangers, even felt comfortable with them. I left with a huge smile and I truly recommend them.

DODGY ANIMAL GROOMING SERVICE! The service woman was so hostile, and barked at me about everything, she had a serious chip on her shoulder - definately not someone I would leave to deal with customers! The shop looks nice inside, and is a good size, so I'd only ever go there again to get supplies. Lets hope they clean up their act one of these days, as its quite hard to find good value grooming in and near georgetown without having to wait a week or two.

So I'm holding a heavy bag of do food, waiting in line. There's a woman in front of we buying 100 little dog toys. The cashier is so oblivious to me that she proceeds to go through every single page of the Petco coupon booklet looking for coupons to help the woman in front of me, and actually cutting them out, as I'm waiting! As I'm growing more impatient, a woman behind me signals to one of the other employees that she just has one item to purchase. He takes HER at another register, and then proceeds to walk past me without offering to ring me up for my one bag of door food!!! I basically lost it, threw the dog food on the counter, and told them that they lost my business. So, Petco is apparently hiring incompetent people now.

The grooming staff were excellent. My cats, although on a monthly preventative got fleas. They are one of the few pet stores (or vets) in DC that provide this service. The cat specialist Sunshine, is wonderful!

Extremely bad inventory management, speaking from months of recent frustration, as evidenced by multiple failed attempts to get cat food that used to be stocked (resorted to Amazon) and refill cartridges for automated sandbox (again, resorted to Amazon). Today was the last straw: attempted to get a warming pad for pet bed: also out (I'm about to resort to Amazon for this). Does this store even actively manage its inventory, or just let things "happen"?

I come here for my kitty supplies because the location is conveniently located close to home. I like to visit the pretty birds and chit-chat with them too. Benny is my favorite bird.

Very friendly and kinda staff but they have a bad roach infestation it mostly affects the front end one employee set there bevarage down and three roaches crawled right in and the bathroom have bugs everywhere so please be mindful when you pick the bag it yourself dog treats also this store is planning on closing the going out of business sale will start January 1st 2018
