Elevator & escalator to 2nd floor with fitting rooms on both floors. Located by Cheesecake Factory, Maggianos, CVS, etc. Walking distance from Saks, Brooks Brothers, Bloomingdales, etc. Accessible to Friendship Heights Station & Metro buses that connect to other stops above ground.

The store overall offers great deals, and I particularly enjoy browsing their home decor section, which is always full of amazing finds. While most of the staff are friendly and helpful, I've had negative experiences with the store manager, Latoya. Unfortunately, she has been consistently rude to both customers and employees. Latoya, if you're reading this, remember that part of your job is to assist customers and support your team. Kindness goes a long way and doesn't cost a thing!

I just wanted to return a pair of shoes that I purchased for my son in Rockville, MD, 2 days ago that didn't fit him. I had everything, the sticker, the bar code, and the receipt. To my surprise, they didn't take it back and told me that their system doesn't show the item. Basically, they passed Marshall's problem to the customer and told me to take it back to the Rockville store! This is a breach of their own return policy and a travesty of customer service.

I visit this store every now and then because I work nearby and always need new tops/blouses. I usually carry a backpack with my laptop inside, and that might be why sometimes I feel like security is watching me and even following me around. They usually put new things at the front of the store to the right, making it crowded. Twice I've noticed staff go there right after me. Like they're checking on me. I understand they want to showcase new arrivals at the front window, but it's creating an uncomfortable situation for the customer while the back of the store has a lot of space.

Marshalls in general has great stuff, but this location is sub-par. It's uncomfortably hot in the store, to the point where I felt like I was going to pass out. The inventory is disorganized, the cashier was rude to me and they will give you attitude for making a return even if you have the receipt.

Rude staff. Kindly asked to try something on upstairs and told the woman I was going to take the clothes I’ve tried downstairs with me afterwards. She dismissed me and the only thing she said was “downstairs.” I said my family is here, she goes “they can also go downstairs.” Very rude attitude when I was being kind. Left the stuff and won’t be returning back.

The most organized and well-stocked Marshall's I've ever shopped at. This location opened in 2014 and is one of the few businesses to survive the COVIDpocalypse that took down the entire Chevy Chase Pavilion as well as Saks Fifth Avenue across the street + the Galleria Mazza. It was a bloodbath but I guess Marshall's survived thanks to it's stellar customer service, well stocked aisles, management and friendly associates..

Love Marshalls but the cashier lied to my face and told me that I couldn't return something from TJ Maxx at Marshalls which I know from experience is a lie! I don't know if she was lazy or just being rude. Either way ruined the experience.

I love shopping at Marshalls more than any other place because the service offered especially by their staff, a lady called Liz, in particular (Wisconsin/ Chevy Chase location) is the best. She is always welcoming, enthusiastic and always wears a smile that gets to me all the time. I look forward to visiting your shop.

The first time I visited this place was great. This time it was horrifying. The store was a mess and I couldn't find anything. After looking for over an hour I found one item and the person checking me out could not have been more rude. They didn't even look at my face. Worst shopping experience I've had in years.

This Friendship Heights Mashalls has tons of great finds. It occupies the space formally held by Loehmann's and maintains a similar layout. The store is well stocked with unique finds. Be sure to go upstairs and check out the selection there too. At times the line can be long, but if there are plenty of cashiers, it moves quickly.

I went into the store looking for shoes for my husband and i approach a gentleman named chris that works at the establishment and asked if he be so kind as to help me he refused to help me, gave me a attitude and said something in a different language which seemed like he was insulting me i want to make marshalls aware of this issue before this associate does more harm to others

Good selection, but often long lines! So be prepared to wait They fill the check out que with tons of food and cosmetic items...so be aware that you may end up purchasing more than you may have planned...or needed...two floors of clothing and shoes. No childrens clothing. Go down the street to their sister store TJMAXX for those. Marc Jacobs, Coach, etc, handbags, which they also have at Nordstrom Rack, also on the same street. Shoe selection is ok. Can find some designer brands, Kate Spade etc. I prefer not so main stream designer items, so seek out Barneys Ware house of OFF5th, more often for those items. But, I do like the house wares and food items here. I can find a dress or two now and again, but prefer TJMAXX designer selection down the street. It is more contemporary. Either way. It is a nice are to shop.

It's smaller than other Marshalls that I've been to. I was looking for plates, but didn't even see any for sale. Needed a strainer, but only saw one that seemed cheap & wasn't dishwasher safe. So I found the selection to be disappointing compared to other Marshalls locations.
