Your typical military exchange. Clean store, friendly staff and decent selection. They don’t carry Apple products though so that was a disappointment since we went in there looking for an Apple TV. Food court right outside the entrance to shopping as well as a jewelry store, barber, and restrooms.

Decent selection for an average exchange. If you are looking for a large exchange, the one in Henderson Hall is the way to go!

This is the smallest exchange I’ve ever been to but the point of the missing star is that the computer systems are very slow. I went to get my temporary star card printed and it was not the lady’s fault but her computer was extremely slow and she mentioned that this is pretty much always an issue. They have customers trying to purchase items at the desk so having a slow system is not ideal.

I have been searching for a reasonably priced ironing board. When did the price of a ironing board reach $50.00. I said not today! However, when I went to this Exchange I founded a very reasonably priced ironing board and I ran to the check out counter to make sure the price was right; guess what, it was! 😀 All I can say, the Exchange have it going on. Btw, the staff was friendly and the Exchange was clean and not too busy. They may not have a very large selection of merchandise, but I'm sure you can find something you like, something you need, or even something you want. Check them out for yourself!

It's a small exchange only for Airforce members uniforms. 2 food options inside( subway and a smoothie slash poke bowl type establishment. Buegwr king is outside dry cleaners and a barber shop usually with 2 workers. There are 3 different food trucks outside during the week lunch hours till about 2pm. If you need mens suits for professional or formal, there is a new independent owned store in the exchange. If you like working out they have a GNC inside. I believe there is also a cupcake business inside as well.

It's been 35 years plus since I was at the exchange I was there the day the store opened and they had Darth Vader and R2D2 and the in the Budweiser Clydesdale horses my mom worked in their clothing department and here is a picture of her when she was dressed up for Halloween in the exchange in the '80s

It’s Here. Not much to it. It has a good shopping selection, but the lines tend to be a little long. It was a good pick up spot for online orders. Unfortunately this base now require you to remove your mask for identification. The guards mask are thin and you can see everything. I’m good on this place.

Cashier was lazy. Told me that my gift card was at a zero balance because he couldn't get it to scan I insisted that he was wrong. I called the 800 number and there was $13 on the card. Said he should load the numbers manually. Went back in to the manager who was able to pull it up. Just lazy.

The store has an odd configuration. Easy to figure out eventually. Maybe second or third visit depending on how navigationally inclined you are. It is a smaller exchange so don't expect a massive selection. That being said there is a selection. All in all I find what I am looking for about 75% of the time which is better than Target.

Prices are decent, and selection is as well. Could definitely be larger though, and staff members are sometimes hard to find when it comes to asking questions and when it is time to check out. I've experienced better on-post Exchanges, overall, and this one is just average.

It's good as long as you don't expect to see a lot. This is a small store. They have a few places to eat, dry cleaners, and a barber shop. Would be nice if they had Army rank in the uniform section of the store.

Relatively small and the clothing sales section for military items is always out of stock for a lot of items. I seem to remember many years ago the prices in an exchange beat a Walmart or target but not any longer. The electronics Dept has a weird selection.

Dated exchange with a very small court. Downwind from the water treatment facility so the smell can be annoying. Not cool if you want lunch. Exchange is ok and seems to have improved in the last few years. Would not go out of my way to stop in.

Not a great PX unfortunately. It's old, worn, has limited selection, and not a lot of employees. Sad. The PX at Ft. Myer is better, and if you can manage to make it out to Ft. Belvoir, that one is mind blowing. The JBAB PX is fine in a pinch, but not compared to other stores in the NCR.

As a navy guy, they don't have all my uniform needs (Navy yard does, though), but other than that this place is pretty good. Staff is always nice and helpful and no taxes is always a boon.

Main exchange has most of what you need especially if you're in the Air Force. Not much for the Navy. It is a bit small but it has a food court with a pizza place, tacos, and a charley's. There is a GNC inside as well. All in all for a small place it definitely packs a punch!

Small exchange with a small food court, barber, massage, hair salon, drycleaner, and a few other rotating booths. This exchange is ok for some essentials. The clothing selection is ok. There are a few things for babies. Overall, this exchange is fine for most quick stops.

Prices are great compared to other military exchanges, but the selections of products are poor compared to nearby exchanges. The staff is friendly and helpful and the hours are reasonable.

One of the nicer area AAFES exchanges, as they go. Better than the smaller Fort Myers PX, but not as good as the bigger Andrews BX. If you're hungry, though, skip the JBAB food court. Crummy food. Just walking by smelling it may make you feel sick. Ick.

This Exchange has a decent selection, and with the new remodel, has potential to be pretty decent. However the reason for the low rating, is this Exchange has consistently some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in an AAFES establishment.

I'm not sure on what planet this is "layering" as I am a licensed cosmetologist and my sister sent this photo of her hair after having her hair cut at this salon. This is awful work. There's no nice way of putting it. Perhaps the salon can invest in having professionals come out and teach them proper techniques and hair cuts. I'd personally avoid at all costs. My sister lost $40 her hair is ruined for the ball now and she has to look at it everyday. Seriously sad they thought this was good work.

Small PX, however suitable for the small population on JBAB. Would give additional stars for; 1. If all stores and shoppes were open at a universal time. 2. Needs more selection of items or more stock of what is already present.

Yeah, the Base needs to update the LOOK of the Commissary, but the products and vegetables are good quality and - most of all - the prices are fair. Get past the asthetics so the prices can remain low.
