I just left giant on Alabama Avenue SE to pick up my prescription and and the cashier a young girl name Cheree was so RUDE and unpleasant. She kept leaving the register and walking away. Fifteen minutes later after I got my meds. I gave another name for pick up and she said to me, (you should had told me both names at once). My response was if you would have stop walking away talking to everybody else back there and taken care of what you get pay for I would have.Then she said do you have anybody else, cousin niece, friend aunt that you are picking up for. So unprofessional and disrespectful

One of the worst pharmacy experiences I've had (worse than the worst CVS I have been to). I had my prescriptions sent in and they lost them. I had them resent in, and they didn't start working on them until I arrived at the counter, and they weren't even sure if they could dispense them. This was after I had already been to the counter earlier in the day to drop off some additional prescriptions. I spent 4x as much time here as I would have at any other pharmacy I have been to.

The pharmacists there are overworked and unfortunately have to deal with a lot of disgruntled customers. Nevertheless, they are kind and patient and always greet you with a smile. Dr. Afoma Nwizu in particular took the time to call several nearby pharmacies so she can find a pharmacy that carried my prescription in stock. I commend all the pharmacists here for their professionalism and warm spirits! They deserve an award.

No stars.Every time I come in here... I called in a refill. It was supposed to be ready yesterday. They had a day to fill my meds... Why am I waiting? Customer service is none and this is the worst location period.Still waiting on rX for blood pressure meds. Called in and was supposed to be ready same day. Went in and said 10 to 15 minute wait.. After 20 minutes- I asked was it ready. No. Meds out. Made complaint to the manager and left.Snow came so called in.. recording said working on it. Called this morning- no pills but shipment coming in at 4. I said so how long after that will my rX be ready? Answer- call back at 4. What?I already had corporate info looked up so I called and made a complaint about pathetic service and procedures. How do you let meds run out? Why no follow up call to say what is what. I hate the location because it represents the decline of grooming and standards more than it does customer service. The one pharmacy tech I usually see is not there often if it all know so I really do not like it. I call when I get down to last 2 pills typically. I took my last pills the day I went in to pick up my meds. Thank God I am working on alternatives to medicine and not feeling bad. I am convinced more every day that healthcare has no bedside manner nor concern for patients just profits and appeasing silly slogans and wallowing in excuses. No wonder many like myself do not trust these that profit off of the ill so healing and wide ranging cures are not sought or discussed. No care was given that I did not have my meds. Only highlights need to return to the things the old folks told us to do to care for self and remedies they used

My first visit ever this Sunday was to Receive my Covid shot there. It went as smoothly as possible and the stuff was kind, attentive and helpful. I did my food shopping while I was there and found the stuff in the store helpful too, more so than in my local Giant. Many of my neighbors in Ward 3 complain about not being able to get vaccine appointments closer to home. I would say the drive to SE was worth it and was super easy, even on a snow day.

I work in a healthcare facility and this pharmacy clearly leaves their phones off the hook. I will not cease until I have reported this pharmacy to Giant corporate and to the state BOP for their negligence and blatant, intentional endangerment of patients through their shoddy business practices.

These ppl get the call from your doctor for the prescription they need to fill. I been getting medicines for years never had this issue. So the issue is they get the order and then they lie and tell you they don't have the order you call to see if they got it in the next two days and they still swear they don't have it and ask if it could be sent somewhere else which you are sure of it's whereabouts. This has happened with two previous prescriptions I've sent there because it's right next to my home. On the second one the guy said they had it finally after giving me the run around again, and he says," I'll put it in". Like yeah they had the order they just didn't fill it. I have a prescription sent there again hoping for better results. Guess what?! I got a robot call from giant saying they got my prescription filled named it and everything. I say ok to myself this time they have no excuse for not filling it. They do the same thing, give me the run around saying they don't have the order, and then have the nerve to ask what was the number that called me stating they filled the order. I'm on the phone saying idk what the number is cus it's not named and I have several unnamed numbers call me yesterday so I can't be sure. But why would I lie, and what does it matter?! It doesn't matter what the number is my doctor called the medicine in for my newborn. I got a robot call stating it was filled and ready to be picked up y'all should have filled it and it should be ready this is a day later you had 24 hours to fill it. So at this point I'm done with them I gave them three times to stop playing with my medications. What's really happening stated by one of the guy employees is that they getting the order but they just not filling it. They playing with ppls' meds which could be dangerous depending on that person's health. Mfs in pain and they b.sing on filling ppls' meds. They trifling and I would not recommend them to anyone. I called Children's up told them the situation and had them send my order to Giant out hyattsville. Though Giant system can do that where they don't get the order and I have to have my Dr resend it, the one in hyattsville don't give me the vibe at all that they just in there not filling ppls' orders. Not working, messing around, being lazy. Giant pharmacy ain't perfect but you can see the difference in quality of service and it's sad that you get what you expect based off the parameters of the city, in short if you go to the ghetto you're going to get ghetto service.

The only reason I love it is because it's close to my house honestly 🤣😂 most of the people in the pharmacy are cool... But damn it takes a long time to get a prescription 💁🏽😩

On August 8,2021I have brought in paperwork from the ER too get it fillI ask the pharmacy do my insurance cover it she said yes i said okay, They told me it be ready by Augest 9, 2021 i said okay. I came Augest 10, 2021 to pick up meds and found out my insurance doesnt cover it, The lady was rude and she did a circle with hand that is going say nobody over didn't tell me nothing like that, I am 51 years old i do not have time make up something like that. 😡😡😡

This is the slowest pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Called in to confirm medicine was ready, get there and they say it’s not ready and had to wait a hour for the medicine. I will not be getting anymore prescriptions filled at this location.

I live in Woodmont Crossing never had a problem with my pick up. And I have been going there since 2001. So people come with the wrong stuff and don't have the right medical coverage like, Amerihealth and other dc medical coverage they need that's the hold up at the pharmacy. Smh

THE worst customer service EVER in person and over the phone. No hello, nothing just YEA. Prescription promised last Friday, today is Monday and still no prescription. So glad it is not a life saving medicine.
